Rosaline’s P.O.V.

Xavier entered the room, his dark aura instantly dropped the temperature of this abandoned, creepy dungeon more. The air around me became so bone-chilling, I felt as if thousands of needles are piercing my skin. His face didn’t show an ounce bit of remorse nor sadness. His icy gaze met mine with an impassive countenance. My heart twitched as I stared in his eyes which were cold like a deserted, frozen lake without any ripple in it. He has become so indifferent and ruthless. The Xavier whom I had loved he couldn’t even tolerate a mere scratch on me but the man who he is standing infront of my eyes has marred my heart with millions of indelible scars.

Xavier then started walking towards me. I didn’t have any energy left in me to get up. I kept lying down there while watching everything silently. He crouched down to my level and untied me. He then made me sat up and slowly peeled that fucking tape off my mouth. I was looking down all the time as I was too exhausted. Xavier then took a deep sigh as we both sat in silence for a few minutes. I could feel his burning gaze on my body, I know he must be analysing my behaviour. Submission is something which doesn’t run in my veins but today I realized the power of an empty stomach. It is so powerful and relentless that it can even bring millions of tyrants on their knees. It suppresses all your struggles and forces you to swallow your damn pride. And that was the case with me. I don’t have any energy left in me to fight back more. After observing me keenly for some time Xavier finally scooped me up in his arms and headed outside while carrying me in bridal style.

The maids opened the door for us. He then led me inside a room and gently placed me on the bed. He also took a seat beside me. My gaze was still fixed on my lap. He then raised his hands and cupped my face in his palms. Xavier lifted my head slightly as he tried to look in my eyes but I kept my eyes down.

“Look at me”, he said softly. I ignored him.

“Rose?“, he spoke sternly. I still neglected his words and didn’t match his gaze.

“ROSE!!!”

My heart jump in fear when all of a sudden, he bellowed on my face. All my bravery immediately disappeared into thin air and got replaced with utter trepidation as I stared in his blood-red eyes. Tears started dripping from my eyes and soon they took the form of a waterfall. I removed his hands from my face and started wiping my tears while sobbing hard.

Xavier’s P.O.V.

My heart shattered into pieces when my eyes landed on her bruised wrists. Her snow-white skin has now been tainted with purplish marks and her skin had also got torn from some places. They were covered in dried blood and were looking too painful. I looked at Rose and saw her wiping her tears with trembling hands as she cried and hiccupped like a child. I extended my hand to hold her but she flinched and immediately scooted away from me. I know she was scared of me as she was shivering badly. Her body jerked with every sob. I stared at her pale face that screamed only pain and fear. Tears welled up in my eyes but I blinked them away because I want to see her pain, her tears, her fear.

“BRING IT!!!”

I yelled startling her. A maid then entered the room and handed me a plastic bag. I took it from her hands. She bowed at me and left the room. I extended the bag towards Rose to take it. She kept sitting idly while holding her wrists.

“Take it”

I said but she didn’t budge. I grabbed her bruised wrists making her whimper and placed the bag on her lap.

“Wear it and come down, NOW!!!”, I growled.

Rose finally looked at me but her teary eyes immediately turned dark as she shot me a detestable glare. My jaw clenched. She snatched her hands away from me and jumped from the bed.

“NO!!! I WON’T!!!“, she shouted while glaring me fiercely. Anger again took a toll over my senses. I also stood up and strode towards her while breathing heavily in anger. I grabbed her arms in a vicious grip and slammed her on the wall.

“Listen, don’t show your tantrums or-”

*Slap*

My face got flung to the right as she slapped me hard across my face. I clenched my jaw way too tight, grinding my molars brutally. I was about to give her a piece of my mind but got cut off by her shrill cry as she screamed at me while crying hard.

“LEAVE ME YOU MONSTER...I HATE YOU. I WON’T LISTEN TO YOU. I AM NOT YOUR SLAVE NOR YOUR DOLL...STOP TREATING ME LIKE THIS!! I AM LEAVING RIGHT NOW!! I REGRET FALLING IN LOVE WITH A PSYCHOPATH LIKE YOU. YOU.YOU ARE INSANE. REBECCA WAS RIGHT. SHE TOLD ME NOT TO LOVE AN ABERRANT LIKE YOU. BUT I WAS A FOOL. EVERYONE TOLD ME TO STAY AWAY FROM A FREAK LIKE YOU. I WAS STUPID, IDIOT TO FALL FOR YOUR CHARMS. BUT NOW I WON’T TOLERATE YOUR SHIT ANYMORE!! I HATE YOU. YOU HEARD ME?? I HATE-”

I didn’t let her finish as I slammed my lips harshly on her kissing her wildly. She started to pummel on my chest with her tiny fists but I grabbed her bruised wrists with one hand and pinned her on the wall. She raised her legs in air to kick me. I coiled my other hand around her waist and immediately pushed her down on the bed.

End of Xavier’s P.O.V.

Xavier lost his mind as soon as he heard her venomous words. Although he was remorseful earlier for misbehaving and hurting her like this but Rosaline sudden outburst only added fuel in his blazing fire. He was already hurt by her betrayal but when she blasted on him and threw offensive words at him, he got blinded with rage. Xavier hovered above Rosaline while she kept screaming and thrashing in his hold like a dying fish.

“I am a freak, insane, psychopath, monster. You did a mistake falling in love with me? YOU REGRET LOVING ME!!”

Xavier yelled in thunderous growl startling her. But suddenly he started laughing like a psycho. His dark chuckles made Rosaline scared to her core as she stared him in fear.

“Too bad for you that you have to deal with this psycho for the rest of your life”, he seethed while caressing her cheeks with his fingers. Rosaline slapped his hands away and glared him.

“NO!! NEVER!!! I AM LEAVING”, she shouted.

“You’re right”

“What?” Rosaline replied, befuddled by his words. Xavier smirked.

“We’re leaving now”, he snickered. Rosaline look at him with wide eyes. Her heart dropped in the pit of her stomach as his words instantly groped her with a feeling of dread and anticipation.

“Where?“, she whispered in a meek tone. Xavier’s gaze darkened when her lips slightly brushed against his. They felt like a soft cotton candy and now he wanted to taste them. He licked her lips slightly making her gasp and slowly engulfed them in a deep passionate kiss. But this time his kiss wasn’t a rough or punishing one but was filled with love and care. He sucked them softly while a deep groan of pleasure escaped from his throat. He doesn’t know why he did that but at that moment he just wanted to caress her soft petals and that’s what he did. Rosaline became shocked. Her eyes were wide opened while Xavier kept kissing her passionately. She didn’t even blink for once and as soon she gained her senses back, he pulled off leaving her dazed. But to her surprise, he was back to normal as he looked at her with a straight face while she was lost in pleasure. Xavier then grabbed her shoulders and made her sit properly. He then took the bag kept on the bed making her frown.

“Go change”, Xavier said but this time his tone wasn’t harsh but was still dominating.

“But where are we going?“, Rosaline asked innocently as she stared him with her large bambi eyes. Xavier chuckled internally at her cute face but didn’t show it.

“Italy”, he replied blankly.

“WHAT?“, Rosaline yelled in shock. Xavier nodded.

“NO, I AM NOT GOING!!“, she immediately raged at him.

“Did I ask for your opinion? Go and change”, Xavier said firmly as he handed her the bag. Rosaline snatched it away from his hands and threw the bag harshly on the floor.

“I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE, GOT IT?“, she shouted and tried to walk past him when Xavier grabbed her right forearm swiftly and pulled her back.

“LEAVE ME!!” Rosaline shouted as she clawed at his hands madly drawing blood from them. His jaw ticked as her struggles were only fuelling up his anger more.

“GO.CHANGE.NOW”

Xavier growled with gritted teeth. His nostrils flared in anger as he glared her petite figure with murky eyes. The veins on his temple pulsated violently but Rosaline was adamant to push him off limits.

“NO!!“, she deadpanned while looking straight in his eyes. Xavier smirked menacingly while his face turned red in anger. He tightened his grip on her hands making her wince in pain. Rosaline glared him and started pushing his shoulders.

Xavier then crouched to her level and leaned towards her ear. He then placed a chaste kiss on her earlobe making her shudder a she whispered huskily.

“Then you left me with no choice, Sweetheart.”
