Tables Turned
Rosaline got flinched and looked back only to see Xavier laying down on the floor covered in a pool of blood. He was groaning in pain as he got shot on his chest.
"Xa-Xavier!!"
She whispered in a broken voice. Xavier looked at her with teary-eyes.
Suddenly sounds of sirens and choppers echoed in his ears. He looked around only to find him surrounded with cops and guns aiming at him.
He was trapped.
He looked behind Vincent and saw Sebastian standing with his head hung low.
He was the one who had helped Vincent. Sebastian was the one who controlled the security of the mansion. Xavier had also given him the task to keep Rosaline safe till he comes back.
But he also deceived him like everyone as Vincent had threatened him that if he doesn't help him, he would kill Elijah.
"Seb"
Xavier cried while staring at him sadly. Sebastian looked at him with guilty eyes.
But then Xavier mouthed something to him while wiggling his eyebrows at Vincent. Sebastian nodded and slowly sneaked away from there without getting noticed by anyone.
Xavier then tore his gaze away from him and glared at Vincent while he just smirked in return.
"Enough of your games Mafia", Vincent rasped.
"YOU TOO BETRAYED ME!"
Xavier yelled fiercely.
Rosaline became shocked and looked at Vincent confusingly.
"Thank me that I didn't kill you", Vincent growled with clenched jaw ignoring the confused Rosaline.
Rosaline was looking at him in fear as Vincent was glaring Xavier as if he would kill him. His eyes were blood-red and his grip on the gun was so tight that his knuckles turned white.
"Don't kill him please"
She whispered. Vincent looked her.
"ROSE! HELP ME!! DON'T BELIEVE HIM. HE WAS THE ONE WHO HELPED ME!! DON'T LEAVE ME, PLEASE!!"
Xavier shouted in a hurtful voice. Rosaline kept staring him while crying. She wasn't able to understand what was going on.
Vincent looked at Rosaline's terrified state. He quickly called his guards and they started taking Xavier away.
"NO!! ROSEBUD!!"
Xavier kept shouting and screaming but they all dragged him away. Rosaline kept staring at him while sobbing hard. Vincent then pulled her in his arms while she cried on his chest.
"Don't worry, everything's gonna be alright"
He smirked eerily while watching Xavier crying and yelling like a manic.

5 days later
At CIA's Prison, Hawaii
11:00 p.m.
"Eat something or you'll die."
Noah spoke while looking at Xavier who was staring in space sitting lifelessly on the cold ground.
Noah looked at him with teary-eyes. He was shocked to know that Vincent convinced Rosaline and got Xavier arrested. He was well aware of it as he never trusted Vincent since the beginning.
Vincent had locked Noah and Xavier in the same cell deliberately. Noah saw how Xavier was wrecked completely. Five days had passed but still he hadn't eaten anything nor had spoken a word. He was always sitting in one corner of the cell with his head rested on the wall while staring at the wall in front of him blankly.
Noah had tried multiple times to initiate some conversation with him but Xavier never replied to him nor ever felt his presence even.
Noah got up. He took a seat beside him and held his shoulders.
"Xavier"
But again, no response.
He then heaved a heavy sigh and looked at him softly.
"You can talk with me if you want."
Suddenly Xavier smirked making Noah shocked.
"Do you think I can trust you?"
Noah felt hurt to hear his words and lowered his gaze down. Xavier scoffed.
"Do you think I will be able to trust anyone now?"
All of a sudden Noah held his collars and growled. His eyes turned dark and his face turned red with anger.
"This is all because of your fucking Rose, okay? She keeps betraying you and you keep following her like a puppy. Are you really an idiot or you just pretend to be one? Yes, I deceived you but I was an Agent, it was my job. I did my best to keep her safe even I betrayed you but see that girl believed that man so easily leaving her husband behind. I worked so hard for this Agency for my whole life but see, see where am I?"
His eyes slowly started moistening up but Xavier kept staring at him blankly, unfazed by his outburst.
"I am stuck with you in this cell. I had dedicated my whole life to this Agency, for working for the welfare of the society but see, SEE WHERE AM I? ROTTING IN THIS HELLHOLE JUST BECAUSE OF THAT BASTARD!! IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF YOU AND THAT FUCKING ROSALINE!! YOU KNOW I DESPISED HER SINCE THE BEGINNING BUT YOUR BLIND LOVE SHATTERED ALL MY PLANS OR ELSE, I WOULD HAVE SLAUGHTERED THAT BITCH WITH MY OWN HANDS SO LONG AGO!!!
He left his collar and punched his fists on the wall.
"I am telling you Xavier once I get out from here, I will kill that slut and that FUCKER VINCENT mercilessly"
He then shot him a death glare and snarled.
"And no one will be able to stop me this time"
Noah growled with clenched jaw while his eyes turned blood-red. Angry tears were streaming down his eyes and blood was oozing from his knuckles. He was shooting daggers at Xavier.
Xavier took a deep sigh. He then got up and went near him.
"Come with me. Let's get out of here"
Noah became befuddled by his unexpected response but then his lips curved up into a smirk.
"Do you think that's so damn easy? I have lost all my rights, you know that. The in charge of CIA's cell is Katherine and she is working for Vincent. How am I gon-"
"Hey boys"
Xavier and Noah both turned around only to see Jennifer standing outside the cell along with Katherine while holding....
Keys?
Noah's eyes widened in shock.
"Xavier?"
But Xavier just smirked and wiped off his tears. He then made him face him.
"Do you wanna come along Agent?"
Noah was dumbfounded. Xavier chuckled at his pale face and looked at him.
"Tsk Tsk... Noah! Don't be so surprised. You know no one in this world is born yet to defeat Xavier Knights. I was well aware of Vincent and his growing love for Rosaline. You think I haven't seen the obsession and lust in that bastard's eyes for my own wife. But I needed him so as to clear all the charges against me that's why I acted along so that he would think that he got me this time. But you all don't fucking remember....
"I win every single game."
Noah was completely stunned by his words.
"But why helping me? I am the one who had put you through this much"
Xavier narrowed his eyes and gripped his neck making him startled.
"Only one person has made me go through all this shit and I swear on my dead father today....
"I will make her life a living hell. And you all are gonna help me in this. The deal is simple- I let you out of here and you help me in my vengeance."
Noah was shocked. He has never seen so much rage and hatred in Xavier's eyes ever and that too for his Rosebud.
Xavier was deranged. He was on a warpath. His eyes were blood-red and his face was dark. His jaw was clenched and he was literally choking Noah to death as his mind had blocked all his senses.
"But don't you love her?"
Noah spoke with difficulty as he was confused by his demeanour but Xavier slammed him on the wall and punched his fists beside his head in anger.
"Not anymore"
He growled. They both were staring in each other's eyes. One with shock and the other with rage.
"Xavier, let's go. We don't have much time"
Katherine immediately butts in. Jennifer quickly inserted the keys in the lock and open the door. They both got out. Katherine then handed them the guns and all of them rushed outside. It was easy for them as the entire security department of CIA's cell was under Katherine's control.
A black limo quickly pulled up infront of them making Noah flinched.
"Get in Gangsta"
Xavier smirked but Noah was shocked to see Antonio, Elijah and Sebastian in the car. They all then got inside and Antonio drove off.
Noah was sitting quietly while Elijah was glaring him.
"Noah! Are you ok?"
Sebastian asked him softly. Noah crashed into his arms while tears escaped his eyes. Even after all what he has done to them, they still care for him.
"I am so sorry"
"You need to make it up for that dude", Xavier said. Noah looked at him and smiled.
"Alright. I am with you guys"
"You better not play with us this time or I won't hesitate to put a bullet inside your thick skull", Elijah spoke as he glared him. Noah nodded in fear.
"But where are we going?", Jennifer asked Xavier who was watching everything silently.
"Back to Italy. We need to leave soon before they find out about us", Antonio replied from the driver seat.
"Don't worry, he won't. Besides who's gonna report him?", Katherine said while smirking. Xavier nodded.
"Keep it hanging for a while. Once we all get out of here then you can inform him"
She nodded but Antonio wasn't convinced with all this.
"But Xavier what about Rosaline? You're gonna leave her with him?"
"Yes", Sebastian immediately replied. Noah frowned.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, she is the one who chose Vincent over Xavier. But we can't capture her now. She is under Vincent's security. And also, we need time to stabilize", Elijah said. Xavier nodded.
"Yeah, I need time to make my own army. It will take some years. After that we'll be back with a bang"
"Yeah, and then we'll teach that bastard a lesson", Sebastian chuckled.
"We need to teach that little shit too. I am dying to kill her", Noah growled with gritted teeth. Katherine supported him.
"Exactly, we literally died for that bitch but she just had to be a little fucking whore betraying her lover again and again. I will shoot her if I find her once"
While they all were engrossed in this heated conversation, two persons were sitting quietly not liking this debate at all.
Antonio was driving the car silently. His jaw was clenched while the grip on the steering wheel was too tight as he heard them bad mouthing about Rosaline. On the other hand, Jennifer kept looking Xavier who was listening to everyone while staring outside the window quietly. Though he was silent but she could see the sadness and pain in his eyes. She was well aware that Rosaline must have been brainwashed by Vincent but she was surprised to see Xavier sitting idly while they all kept talking shit about Rosaline. She clenched her fists tightly as she saw how they all were framing the poor girl to clean the dirt off them flattering Xavier. But it wasn't her fault too. It was true Rosaline again betrayed Xavier but she was forced to do that every time. Sebastian was the one who gave her to Vincent for Elijah's sake but now he was acting as if he hadn't done anything.
But still Jennifer couldn't do anything since Xavier knew everything beforehand.
~Flashback
Two weeks ago
Rosebud Orphanage, Chicago
Jennifer's P.O.V.
Xavier, me and Katherine were at Rosebud orphanage. It was beautiful and the view was breath-taking.
Katherine was talking with the managers about all the stuffs that were required like furniture, toys, dresses, books and other things for the children.
Suddenly my eyes landed on Xavier who was standing in one corner near the tree. He seemed tensed. His hands were dug inside the pockets of his pants and he was staring in space. I approached him.
"Is something bothering you?"
I spoke softly. He sighed.
"Vincent is after my Rose. He has kidnapped her and has decided to arrest me with her help"
He answered calmly without even looking at me. I became shocked and shouted angrily.
"WHAT? AND WHY ARE SO CALM? WE NEED TO SAVE HER AND-"
"No"
I looked at him in shock.
"What? What do you mean by that?"
Xavier then finally looked at me and spoke in his husky voice.
"I have enough now. I am done. Now I want to see whom will Rose choose?"
My eyes widened.
"What do you mean Xavier? Vincent will definitely show her the clipping of you killing Rebecca. What do you think? She's gonna come back to you after that? Come on Xavier, you can't let that happen. But how Vincent was able to pass through your security system?", I was completely going insane by his absurd answers.
"Seb, helped him"
I agape at his response. He had totally gone out of his mind. His expressions were so calm while I was literally dying inside. I grabbed his hand and jerked him roughly towards me.
"Xavier please for once think about Rosaline. She won't understand anything. You have to tell her everything. If you apologize once she will forgive you but leaving her amidst in these lies will only separate you both nothing else. Vincent will win and you'll lose Rose. Try to under-"
I got cut off as he harshly jerked my hands and pushed me back.
"I have enough of her. Now this time I need to make it final and clear. If she loves and trusts me, she'll wait for me and let me explain. But"
"But?"
Xavier then shot me a death glare and growled with clenched jaw.
"If she leaves me this time, I won't regret to make her life a living hell. And I mean it"
With that he left. I sighed and whispered in a broken voice.
"Please Rosaline, don't go"
End of Flashback~
But no, Rosaline left him again without hearing any explanation. But still I don't blame her as she is stuck between these two psychos. She must have got horrified watching her only best friend murdered by none other than her own husband but I am damn sure Vincent must have lied about something else to her too. She is so sweet and innocent, she won't understand his dirty games but still I feel bad for Xavier. I am stuck in a storm right now. Same goes for Rosaline. I can't understand who is right and who is wrong but what I do know that this time Xavier won't let her live-in peace. But still, I hope....
everything gets alright again.
"But will that happen?"
