#358 - Chapter 358 The Intricate Nanyun Continent
Nan Yun Continent.
It was like a lit oil drum, with battles everywhere.
The righteous sects fought among themselves, the demonic sects fought internally, the righteous and demonic sects fought each other; no one could distinguish between enemies and allies.
Almost all sects were involved, a chaotic mess that even the Star Gazing Pavilion couldn't stop.
Forget sitting on the mountain to watch the tigers fight; doing so would invite a joint attack.
The chaos in Nan Yun Continent was largely influenced by Lian Yun Continent.
Moreover, there were many collusions between the righteous and demonic sects in Nan Yun Continent. This wasn't secret collusion, but open and aboveboard.
On the surface, almost every righteous sect had collusion with a demonic sect, and who knew how many they colluded with secretly.
Therefore, Nan Yun Continent was relatively chaotic, with no one trusting anyone, be it righteous or demonic sects.
Now that they were fighting, those apparent allies were unreliable, and secret allies were even more so. Forget forming alliances to attack together; it was difficult enough to avoid being stabbed in the back.
Nan Yun Continent, atop the Star Gazing Pavilion.
Yuan directly threw Yun Zu's coffin down from the Star Gazing Pavilion.
"Resurrect, Senior Brother Yun!" Yuan shouted.
"Bang!"
The coffin exploded in mid-air, and a man with a demonic appearance, wearing a beast-patterned red robe, appeared in the sky.
"Yuan, what the hell are you doing?" Yun flew angrily in front of Yuan, pointing at his nose.
Yuan immediately raised his hands, looking innocent, and said, "It was Senior Brother who asked me to wake you up. Your Nan Yun Continent is in chaos and needs you to govern it!"
"I'll govern you first!"
Yun rushed in front of Yuan, clenched his fist, and punched Yuan in the face.
"Bang!"
Yun was bounced away.
"Senior Brother Yun, don't hit me; you're the one who'll get a sore hand." Yuan scratched his head.
His skin was thick and his flesh tough, like steel.
Anyone who hit him would only be bounced back by his sturdy body.
Yun was furious, unable to beat him, and unable to reason with him; he was just a simpleton.
It went in one ear and out the other.
"I'll teach you a lesson after I quell the chaos!"
Seeing the all-out battle beginning, Yun had no choice but to descend into the low air to quell the internal strife.
"Stop fighting, everyone go back to your sects. Fighting, fighting, what's the point of fighting?" Yun's voice spread throughout Nan Yun Continent.
The sects engaged in battle had no choice but to stop.
They had to give face to the Star Gazing Pavilion's Ancestor; they absolutely had to.
No sect was like the Star River Sect, without a background yet powerful and with sufficient foundation.
Most importantly, it had almost no relationship with any righteous sect.
But the sects in Nan Yun Continent were formidable. Nine out of ten outer disciples were spies from other sects; five out of ten inner disciples had relationships with other sects.
Perhaps even the sect elders were spies from other sects.
This kind of thing was common in Nan Yun Continent.
Now that it had all erupted, one could imagine how chaotic it was.
While fighting, it was common for the sect leader to be stabbed or for the elders to run away with their disciples.
"Alas, the relationships between these sects are too chaotic to sort out. It's fine usually, but once they start fighting, no one can tell who's on their side." Yun sat on the Star Gazing Platform and sighed deeply.
"In my opinion, it's best to just punch them all to death." Yuan said thoughtlessly.
Yun glanced at Yuan and said unhappily, "If your grand-disciple hadn't managed Lian Yun Continent so well, would you be sitting here peacefully now?"
The Star Gazer of Nan Yun Continent lowered his head in shame upon hearing this.
"Heh, my grand-disciple can see luck and has brains." Yuan chuckled.
Yun silently looked at his own grand-disciple and said unhappily, "What are you looking at? Get your ass over there and deal with the affairs of the major sects. I want a list of the major sects by noon tomorrow."
"You wasteful thing, you can't even manage a continent properly, it's a complete mess."
Faced with Yun Zu's scolding, the Star Gazer lowered his head and said aggrievedly, "Isn't our Star Gazing Pavilion supposed to maintain order and not interfere in the affairs of the major sects?"
"You're as brain-dead as Yuan. Who defines order? It's our Star Gazing Pavilion. What I say is order, is order!"
"Saying we don't interfere means we don't interfere on the surface. Can't you interfere secretly?"
"The major sects are in a complete mess. Are you blind and can't see, or are you standing too high and too lazy to look?" Yun scolded repeatedly.
Maintaining order was correct, but there was also another saying: The order, I define it!
The prototype of order was established by their master Yan, and their thirteen disciples maintained and perfected it.
"Grand-disciple knows his mistake." The Star Gazer lowered his head.
Yun glanced at the current state of the Star Gazing Pavilion and was immediately stunned.
"What the hell have you done? Other sects can infiltrate spies into the Star Gazing Pavilion?"
Yuan laughed unkindly upon hearing this.
"Heh heh hahahaha..."
Yun Zu's fair face flushed red with anger, and he scolded, "Get your ass over here!"
The Star Gazer knelt on the ground and walked to Yun Zu on his knees.
"Yun Zu, I really didn't know..."
"Slap!"
Yun Zu kicked the Star Gazer off the Star Gazing Platform and then reached out and grabbed him back.
"You let other sects infiltrate the Star Gazing Pavilion. How can my Star Gazing Pavilion maintain its reputation?"
"Do you know how big the impact is? This not only affects the Star Gazing Pavilion of Nan Yun Continent, but the entire Star Gazing Pavilion of the cultivation world is affected by you!"
"You..."
"Get out, I don't want to see you again!" Yun Zu's face darkened, and he directly deprived the Star Gazer of everything.
Then, he grabbed all the Star Gazing Pavilion disciples who had been infiltrated, kneaded them into a ball of flesh, and threw them back to their sects.
"How dare you infiltrate even my Star Gazing Pavilion? You're tired of living!" Yun Zu threatened.
The sect leaders of those sects knelt down one after another to admit their mistakes.
Yun looked up at the sky and suddenly felt a little powerless.
"I'm tired, let's just destroy it!"
He wanted to destroy Nan Yun Continent and reshuffle the cards.
"Yun, long time no see."
Ye Ling and Ye Kong walked out of the pavilion, looking at the decadent Yun.
Yun was a little surprised when he saw Ye Ling, and then cupped his hands and said, "Lord Ling!"
"When did Lord Ling arrive?"
"We arrived long ago, but Ye Kong and I were watching a good show in your Star Gazing Pavilion."
Ye Ling walked onto the Star Gazing Platform, and the huge Yuan obediently stepped aside.
"Lord Ling is laughing at me. I've been asleep for too long, and I've lost control over the Star Gazing Pavilion." Yun said with a wry smile.
"You can let Mu Qian Yuan come over to help you. You kicked out the Star Gazer, so you need someone to assist you." Ye Kong said.
He and Ye Ling had arrived early and watched the whole process.
Nan Yun Continent was indeed chaotic.
"That's also possible." Yun looked at Yuan next to him.
"That's my grand-disciple, I won't lend him!"
