Chapter - 411 Shall We Have a Friendly Match?

"It's fine. You should go now; your wife's more important. Just come by anytime you want…" Song Qincheng told him as she dismounted him and straightened her bathrobe.

Chen Xiaobei was dismayed and unable to react all of a sudden. Meanwhile, Song Qincheng had turned away from him and was combing her hair calmly at the dressing table. With the hormones disappearing from the air, the aura of a mature and prim woman now filled the room.

"Are you really fine with that?" Chen Xiaobei looked at her pretty face through the mirror and asked in a rather guilty tone.

"I'm a married woman too. Why should I mind? Go now, I'll give you my virginity whatever happens. No rush!" Song Qincheng smiled, before pausing and turning to give him a stare that tells him he should get going.

"Right then, I shall take my leave," Chen Xiaobei said, straightening his clothes as he left. "Just call me if you need me."

As soon as Chen Xiaobei closed the door behind him, Song Qincheng's smile began to vanish.

"Chen Xiaobei…" she lamented. "Why didn't the gods send you to me when I was still in my prime…"

An evil plan was set in motion within the office of the chief inspector.

"Master Poseidon, Luo Puti has reached Green Vine City." The chief inspector said with a low voice. "If I'm not mistaken, she has found the person you were looking for!"

"That two-face bitch! She ruined the Emperor Yan's tomb incident." Poseidon growled. "This time, we cannot let her bring the person that I want back to Dragon City!"

"Don't you worry, Master Poseidon," the chief inspector soothed. "I have something ready in Green Vine City since the tomb incident; I could crush her the moment she found the person you want."

"Good job. But I have to remind you – Luo Puti must die, but the person I want must live!" Poseidon said coldly.

"Yes, sir. My plan is perfect; I never make mistakes whenever I execute my schemes!" The chief inspector patted his chest and declared confidently.

"Fantastic. I've always believed in you, and I know you never fail to fulfill a promise. That's reason you hold the title of General of Perfect Planning and the position of chief inspector at Six Doors Organization after all. I'm going to spare you the idle talk, my cell phone will be turned on at all times, waiting for your good news!"

"Xiaobei!" Luo Puti was in her professional attire today, and was almost running towards him when he reached the airport.

'What can you guys do about it?' He thought with a smug face at all those envious stares around him. 'She's my wife! All of you are just a bunch of losers! Bahaha…'

"Don't just stand there and smile like an idiot!" Luo Puti suddenly hissed. "Wu Jiechao's second uncle is here – he won't let you off the hook easily if we don't act like a couple!"

"Eh?" Chen Xiaobei narrowed his eyes and found two men and one woman in professional attire standing rather close to them. The man in the middle was quite tall, and wore a suit and tie looked like he was in his forties. He strutted towards them with a rather unfriendly look – he has got to be Wu Jiechao's second uncle. The other man and woman beside him should be in their thirties.

"Luo Puti, you could have waited until the assignment is over before you met up with your sweetheart. Why would you ask this fellow to come here?" Wu Tianhe asked coldly while fixing Chen Xiaobei hostile stare.

"I'm the leader of this assignment, and I have every right to ask for his help." She replied coolly. "Xiaobei, this man is a special inspector of the Six Doors Organization, Wu Tianhe. Those two are Bai Libin and Lin Yufei, both superior inspectors. They are all here for the special assignment."

Bai Libin glared at Chen Xiaobei, snorted and turned away. Lin Yufei's attitude was slightly better – she nodded at him but said nothing.

Their positions as superior inspectors of Six Doors Organization meant that they stood above the rest and were considerably formidable in terms of combat power too. That was the reason the duo and Wu Tianhe were rather scornful of him – befriending Chen Xiaobei was almost humiliating.

Before this, Luo Puti was promoted to the position of special inspector in the Six Doors Organization and was also assigned to lead this assignment. Still, her standing was not as strong as Wu Tianhe especially since the latter had been in the organization years before she joined. He was their de facto leader, and Bai Libin and Lin Yufei were just following Luo Puti for the sake of appearances.

"Why would you look for this piece of trash for help?" Wu Tianhe barked. "The Six Doors Organization is resourceful, why don't you just ask me to call for some support personnel from the Qing Wu Faction?"

"Wu Tianhe," Luo Puti replied curtly. "Please don't forget who's the leader for this assignment."

"Hmph! And she's quite the bold one too! Did you really think I would have followed you here if not for Cao Zhenyang?!"

"You're free to leave if you're unhappy with our roles. You have my permission."

Clearly the Ice Demon Queen was not to be messed around with. Even if she was not as powerful as Wu Tianhe, she would never back down when push comes to shove.

As the atmosphere grew tense, Lin Yufei decided to interfere.

"Please stop arguing and make peace," she said. "We still have an assignment in our hands. Shijie Luo, calm down – Shixiong Wu always had a bad temper, you should know that by now."

The woman was Luo Puti's senior by perhaps seven to eight years. However, Six Doors Organization disregards the age factor when it came to rankings, which was why she was addressing Luo Puti as Shijie.

"I believe Shixiong Wu is right about this trash, though." Bai Libin suddenly interjected. "How would he even help us in this assignment?"

"I disagree. Mr. Chen defeated Wu Jiechao. It wasn't a praiseworthy win, but a win nonetheless."

"A win nonetheless? He didn't win at all! Does beating Wu Jiechao with cheap tricks mean a win regardless? That pile of trash would never defeat him when it comes to a real fight!"

Lin Yufei kept her silence while Wu Tianhe smirked – they were obviously throwing barbs at Luo Puti by mocking Chen Xiaobei. For them, a woman who chose to get into a relationship with lowlifes like Chen Xiaobei was almost abominable.

As the air between them reached boiling point, Chen Xiaobei finally broke his silence. "Bai Libin, right?" He smiled innocently. "Shall we have a friendly match? Just to test our strength."
