Chapter - 421 Poseidon's Plan Comes Together

Chen Xiaobei had stayed conscious thanks to Seven Treasury Fragrant Pouch while he and Wu Tianhe were transported with the SUV.

He heard everything that Lin Yufei told the chief inspector. It was true that one could get a lot of things done in one night – Poseidon's plan had come together… and so did Chen Xiaobei's!

At the entrance of the hotel.

"Argh…" Luo Puti needed every bit of strength she had left to push herself off the floor. Lin Yufei would have been terrified if she saw her alive – it was a miracle for anyone to survive a sniper's bullet!

"This bellyband… It's simply amazing… And I really thought that was it…" Luo Puti exclaimed. She took a careful look and found that there was not even a scratch on her bellyband – it was nothing less than magical. She would have considered anyone a lunatic if they told her a bellyband could block bullets, but she was no longer skeptical. Anything was possible with Chen Xiaobei.

"Are you alright?" A tall, muscular man came to her and ask.

"I'm alright…" Luo Puti shook her head and looked around like a lost puppy, before finding Bai Libin who laid still on the floor.

"I'll avenge him." The man said with a deep voice.

"Yes, all of us will. By the way, Chen Xiaobei wanted me to give this to you." Luo Puti took out a container that stored toothpaste from her bag.

The man took it. "Alright," he said. "Let's go!"

Luo Puti jumped into Chen Xiaobei's Bugatti Veyron with the man to chase after Lin Yufei's SUV.

"Shit… We lost them!" Luo Puti had floored the pedal but had no means of tracking them down; she had no idea where to go!

*Shiiing*

Suddenly, the container was cut open by something sharp. A blood red, tiny sword hovered in front of the man.

"This tiny sword is connected to Xiaobei," the man explained. "He can control it within a thousand meters. We just need to follow where it's pointing to, just don't get too close!"

"Is… Is that a Taiji Spiritual Sword?" Luo Puti asked in shock. She recalled the image of the blood sword that killed two of their assailants yesterday.

The SUV arrived at the designated harbor where a private yacht came to pick them up. Chen Xiaobei and Wu Tianhe were cuffed and locked inside one of the cabins, with the latter still unconscious.

Along the way, Chen Xiaobei focused on controlling the flying sword to lead Luo Puti. He must stay concentrated on his efforts since the Chaos Sword Essence was the only thing that kept him connected to his allies.

After some time, the yacht stopped. It was obvious that they were now on international waters as Lin Yufei mentioned before. Someone then came inside the room to carry him and Wu Tianhe out of the yacht. Chen Xiaobei kept feigning unconsciousness as he kept his Golden Gaze Fiery Eyes on everything happening outside.

They were being dragged into a big cargo ship that appeared ordinary. However, Chen Xiaobei found that it was a completely different world inside. After being carried through a hidden door that required biometric authentication under one of its floor they arrived at spacious room filled it with advanced technological equipment, just like one of those spy headquarters in the movies.

There were dozens of displays that were showing various statistics and highlights about everything going on in China. Without question, this room was a surveillance center over the whole nation!

'I never thought there was an intelligence center like this that exists in our peaceful nation...' Chen Xiaobei felt disturbed, and soon became determined. 'I have to eliminate this tumor once and for all!'

He would have stayed ignorant of all this if he did not get captured voluntarily. It was now clear that Poseidon's influence extends beyond the Six Doors Organization!

Around thirty people were working in the room, appearing more to be professional gamers than data analyst as they pored over the computers. Chen Xiaobei quickly figured out that there that only another country could gather all these talents – and judging from their skin tone and hair color, they were Asians. It was even more telling that they spoke in Japanese!

'F*cking Japs! You lot sure are putting a lot of effort to bring down our country!' Chen Xiaobei kept still as fury blazed in his heart.

It took decades to build a clandestine information network, a secret base, as well as recruit trustworthy talents for such an operation. This was an atrocity that would outrage every Chinese national!

'I won't just stop at killing Poseidon. I will wipe out this nest and destroy this operation for good!' Chen Xiaobei thought, eager to beat up and murder every single one of them! And he would have already done so if not for the fact that he had to wait for Poseidon to show his face.

"Master Poseidon! Chen Xiaobei and Wu Tianhe are here." Lin Yufei announced as they arrived outside a metal door.

*Whine*

The metal door quickly opened. Lin Yufei led the way while two burly men carried Wu Tianhe and Chen Xiaobei behind her.

They entered what appeared to be a biological lab. Liquids of all colors were bubbling in test tubes, while different organs were preserved in containers with formaldehyde. There were also a few cages of white lab rats.

There was a table at the other end of the laboratory. A middle-aged, muscular and powerful man who stood by the left side of the table; his outfit told Chen Xiaobei that he was a Six Doors Organization officer. Another man with the sharp, piercing gaze of a raptor stood on the right; he had two katanas tied to his waste.

And then there was that old man who sat on the chair between the two men. He looked like a pervert.

"Finally!" He beamed. "After all that hard work, I now have the bargaining chip. The Poseidon plan finally comes together!"
