Chapter - 671 Great Acting - Red Envelope Group of the Three Realms

Holding the saber with one hand, Zhang Zhongji pointed it at Chen Xiaobei. Thought they were just acting, Zhang Zhongji actually wanted to berate Chen Xiaobei for the longest time possible.

"Director Feng! Something is not right! Bro Zhang is not acting according to the script! According to the script, Sister Mengwan is supposed to convince Bro Zhang to put down the saber. Then, Bro Zhang refuses to listen to her and proceeds to attack her…"

"The script is not alive but we are! Look at them! Their acting is so realistic! It is as if they are treating each other like real enemies! Promptly, the assistant nodded and kept quiet. Feng Yaolun had the most say in the whole production. No one would stop their work as long as he did not say, cut.

Feeling nervous, Tang Mengwan knew that Chen Xioabei's bones would definitely be broken if Zhang Zhongji successfully landed a hit on him.

Considering that Zhang Zhongji had been practicing martial arts for a very long time and had always played the fighting role in every movie which made him more powerful than those martial artist wannabes. As for Chen Xiaobei, his Scholar Heart allowed him to master the art of acting. Just like always, his high combat power enabled him to deal with his enemy easily. Though this time he fought against his enemy with only one hand, he was confident enough he had everything under his control.

Their strength, speed, and their fighting skills were better than the intended script!

Their performance was so good that if they were doing a live action movie in front of an audience, the reaction they would receive would be overwhelming. Hence, even when the original script was ignored, the director, Feng Yaolun was reluctant to yell "cut".

"Impossible! How could a son of a bitch like you be so strong!" Zhang Zhongji cried out in a surprised tone.

Originally, he wanted to take advantage of this scene to break Chen's bones. However, little did he know that Chen's strength was beyond anything that he could imagine. He had put out all his force and yet he could not even land a single hit on Chen! Chen was completely dominating the entire fight. What made things more infuriating was the fact that Chen was really just using his right hand to fight.

"Did you really think that I am that weak?" Chen sneered. "That only reason I didn't kill you before is not because of fear. It was merely too troublesome. You're not worth the energy spent. However! Today! You will perish for your crimes of injustice!"

"What?!"

Gaping with fear, Zhang Zhongji felt a sudden intense pressure from Chen. His heart sank as the words the came out of Chen's mouth were as real as the floor he was standing on. Chen's words were sharp and cold, like a blizzard that came out of the blue which froze both his body and soul.

'Such power! This little brat is too powerful!'

At that moment, Zhang Zhongji knew that he was a fool to challenge Chen. For his strength was far beyond Zhang Zhongji's.

The short standoff earlier was only executed for the sake of the movie! However, just when Zhang Zhongji had enough of fighting, Chen's sudden words meant that things will unfold not the way he wanted.

'Not good…'

Zhang Zhongji screamed in his heart for his own stupidity yet his unheard screams were futile as everything was already too late.

Chen's steps were as quick as lightning. With a flash, he drew out his sword and slashed Zhang Zhongji's arm.

Blood packets that were hidden inside his costume burst out, splattering the fake blood everywhere.

It was known that blood that spilled in movies were fake. Screams and cries of the actor were nothing but false. Yet, the scream of Zhang Zhongji right then and there was genuine, exactly like the prerecording's!

"M-my arm…"

Without much energy left in him, Zhang Zhongji dropped the sword. With his unharmed arm, he clutched his 'bleeding' arm tightly. The pain was too great for him to bear. Blood was dripping from his arm while beads of sweat dotted his forehead. Though the blood was fake, his wounds were real. There was no faking that.

Even though Chen's sword was a prop, it was still made of metal. The slash from Chen was so strong that it shattered Zhang Zhongji's bones and tore his tendons. That pain was different than being slashed open with a sharp blade. From Zhang Zhongji's perspective, it was at least a thousand times more excruciating. No wonder he was screaming like a deranged mental patient.

However, the nightmare had only just begun.

The sword in Chen's hands started dancing around again, slashing towards Zhang Zhongji without hesitation! The man expressed his intention to hurt Chen! How could Chen allow that to pass?

More blood packets underneath Zhang Zhongji's costume burst out, releasing its content everywhere and even on Chen's clothes.

Zhang Zhongji was beaten up so badly that almost every single bone in his body was shattered. There were no means or words to express how much pain Zhang Zhongji was feeling at that moment. Veins were popping up on his forehead when his eyes rolled back and he dropped to the ground. With so much internal bleeding, blood had started to gush out of his mouth as well.

"Woah! That's one amazing performance! This year's best male actor would definitely be him!"

"Wait a minute… There's are no blood packets in his mouth… How is there blood in his mouth then…? Could it be… Did he actually bite his own tongue just for the blood?! Such a professional!"

"AMAZING! MAGNIFICENT! Such a performance! My god! There's no telling how real Zhang Zhongji's acting is!"
