My heart aches for Keava even more when she let's out the noise. I never seen her in pain like this and it is the worst thing ever. Now I am actually glad for this damn circle because I want to hold her in my arms to comfort her.
With Keava on her knees it seems like she is almost dry heaving instead of vomiting.
That's what I thought until blood start coming out!
Ruken snarls and I can feel when my canines elongate from my gums.
Jasel wobbles where she stands in front of Keava and continues chanting. Which makes Conan growl out and shake beside me. We both know her and Blaze are using an incredibly large amount of magic that neither of them have ever done before.
A high pitch scream comes from Keava's lips once more. This time I watch in horror as her fangs start to fall out of her mouth, leaving only normal teeth left behind.
That is horrifying to see mate go through it! Please! Please! Help her! Ruken whines and growls.
I wish I could but there is nothing I can do, this circle will make me look like a burnt popcorn if I find a way to even push through it. I can't risk this chance for the spell to work either.
Torn is not strong enough to describe how I feel right now.
The candles start to simmer down and not burn as bright like when they first got lit. Blaze and Jasel chants start to slow as their voice take on a more normal sound. Keava is on her knees with her head hanging down, but her shoulders shake with the sobs she is releasing.
Jasel and Blaze both step into the circle with Keava and kneel down on each side of her. They place a hand on her shoulder and it makes her sit up straight and hang her head back. I can see just how wet her cheeks are from her tears.
Blaze uses his free hand and starts to untie the cloth that has held the silver to Keava's hands. I can see the skin seems to be unaffected and is no longer burning her flesh as badly.
I let out a deep breath of air with being able to see the spell is working just as they said it would.
Conan shifts next to me and growls, just as Jasel sways side to side and falls to her hip from where she was kneeling. Jasel keeps chanting through it all but her words are softer, showing how much energy she has used.
Blaze is fairing no better and barely able to keep on his knees. Some of his words start to slur into one as his hand comes off Keava's shoulder.
With the last of the energy Blaze and Jasel both seem to have, the only thing that can be heard clearly is 'finire'.
It is enough for me to know they have completed the spell.
The circle around Conan and I burst into a red flame. The magic containing it complete with the spell, setting us free. We both bolt the few steps over to where Keava and Jasel are laying on the ground, with Blaze barely staying upright on wobbling legs while breathing harshly.
I scoop Keava's body into my arms. She is currently unconscious herself but her body is clammy to the touch from all the sweat and tears.
Conan helps Jasel to sit up but she is still aware and here with us. It is clear she has spent everything in herself to where she can barely keep her eyes open.
"She will be okay. Her body just needs to rest and recover from the amount of magic it took to remove the vampirism." Blaze mumbles.
"Are you okay?" I glance up to him.
Blaze barely even nods. "I will be, just need sleep."
I link my Head Warrior to come out to where we are.
"I linked the Head Warrior, he is out on patrol. He can help get you inside the house and to your room to stay in." I whisper over to Blaze as I look back at Keava.
Conan picks Jasel up and her normal sass about it is nowhere to be seen, as her head just lulles to the side. I follow suit and stand with Keava in my arms. The Head Warrior comes over from the forest and has Blaze put an arm around his shoulder to lift him off the ground.
We all get into the pack house and Conan breaks off to their room, where the Head Warrior helps Blaze settle into his. I keep walking up the stairs until I reach our room.
Opening the door, I lay Keava on the floor as I sit down. With slow easy movements, I strip her of the clothes she has on. I place a pillow under her head and stand to get a washrag from the bathroom. I need to wipe her down from the sweat and blood still on her from everything, before I just place her in bed.
Don't need mate mad at us for letting her rest while dirty. It is nice to groom her though. Ruken sighs, finally relaxing himself some.
Once I have Keava clean, I place on of my t-shirts on her and pick her back up. With gentle care, I place her in the bed and pull the covers over her while she sleeps.
Not once has she moved or made any type of reaction since the spell ended and she collapsed. It worries me but I also know it is a large change for her again.
A knock sounds on the door, while I sit here and brush through her hair lost in thought. I stand from the bed and walk over, opening it to see Conan.
"I thought you wouldn't have left Jasel?" I look at him weird.
"She is sleeping and I know she didn't like leaving everything outside. I am on my way to clean it up, but wanted to check on our Luna." He sighs.
"She is sleeping still and not made any movement yet." I look back at her in the bed, but keep the door closed to where Conan can't see in since she is only in my shirt under the covers.
"I will come with you and help clean it all up. It will get us back with our mates a lot faster." I step out the door and close it too.
The bond is back in place and currently just a quiet hum with her asleep. So I will know if she wakes and I am not here.
"I want to check in on Blaze real quick." I whisper to Conan.
"Was fixing to do the same. This took a toll on all three of them." He knocks lightly on the door, before opening it.
Blaze lays on the bed with nothing but his boxers on, asleep as well like the girls.
We close the door back and walk outside. Together we gather up all the remaining pieces and make sure nothing touches. With just one trip we got everything placed in my office and I locked the door behind us.
Just as I go to open the door to the bedroom, I spin and jog down the stairs to the kitchen. I grab three glasses and pour some juice in each glass. By time I make it back up the stairs, Conan is there giving me a funny look with him seeing when I went back down the stairs.
"I got them all some juice. They need their energy back and this is a fast way to help, since they are to tired to actually eat food." I explain.
Conan takes a glass for Jasel and I place one down for Blaze, before finally making it back to our bedroom. Keava still lays in the same position as before.
