Chapter 35 Who?!

ELLE'S POV.

The bright light started to dim. I open my eyes to find myself standing in a small garden. Not just any garden. The garden my mother grew when I was little. It was a special place to her. She would always come here to think or draw and I would sing with her as we sat on the bench and look at the flowers and watch the butterflies visit them.

After my parents got taken Anna and I would barely take care of it. The flowers died and it didn't feel that special anymore. We just didn't see the point.

I look around the place and it is just the way it was when I was younger. The sunflowers, pansies, Daffodils, Blanket flowers, Daylilies, their all here. They are her favorites.

I look around with tears in my eyes. Why would Elizabeth send me here?

I look down to see that I am in this beautiful blue short dress with ruffles shirred off the shoulders. I look around confused. I see a figure move behind a tree move.

"Hello? Who's there?"

The figure comes from behind the tree. As she walks up to me I am dumbfounded, speechless, shocked, mouth open.

She stops in front of me and smiles. "M-mom?"

"Hi cuddle bear."

Her voice, her smile, her eyes, her beautiful face. It's her, she's right here in front of me.

"Mom." I cry.

I drop to the ground on my knees, looking up at the woman I lost 9 years ago in disbelief. She kneels in front of me and take me in her arms.

"Shh, baby don't cry, don't cry." She whispers to me.

"H-how?" I ask.

She pulls me away and wipe the tears from my eyes. "That's a long story."

"You're not the moon goddess are you?"

She laughs at me question. "No I'm not cuddle bear. But she did give me a chance to talk to you."

ELIZABETH'S POV.

"This is interesting."

"Are you fucking kidding me?"

We hear the demons run past us and we all look confused.

"Did they just pass us?"

"I don't think they know we're down here."

"Wow, when you think they couldn't be more stupid. They have a trap and don't know it's there." I roll my eyes.

The boys sigh and try to open the iron sealed off door for at least 10 minutes now.

Cristian stops and look down at me. "You can help you know. Don't you have wings?"

"Sorry ocean eyes but whatever those black blooded scum bags were giving Elle made that side of her weak, aka me."

"Why don't you let Elle back in anyway?" He asks coldly.

"She's busy, talking to someone."

Andrew stops what he's doing and Cristian looks more concerned. "Who?!" The both ask in unison.

"Sorry, you'll have to ask Elle when she's done."

Before I knew it Cristian is on top of me and have me flat on the ground with his hand around around my neck, chocking me.

"Cristian get off of her!" Andrew shouted.

"I really like this position. Why don't you squeeze harder." I said with a snarky smirk.

He still had his hand around my neck, looking furious until Andrew dragged him off me and threw him against the wall. "I said get the fuck off her!"

Cristian instantly gets back up. "Why the hell are you protecting her. Huh?!"

"Because if you hadn't noticed she's in Elle's body. Hurt her and you're just hurting Elle! Now I mind linked my men and they will be here but it might take a while to get through the demons."

I chuckle and lean up against the wall. "How could one girl be so lucky? To have the Vampire king and an Alpha in love with her." I looking between them, Andrew is glaring at Cristian and Cristian is glaring at me.

I laugh at the irony and look at Andrew. "If you're not as stupid as I think you are, you would know they totally had a thing. Ain't that right Cristian?"

If you haven't noticed, I love drama.

Cristian rolls his eyes and Andrew walks over to a wall and lean on it with his hands in fists. Ooo, A fight I sense?

"Now Cristian, you know how she feels, but a huge part of you as hope that she changes her mind." I smile as Andrew looks between us confused. "She loves both of you but there is one that she is in love with. Andrew can you tell me who it is?" He obviously wasn't playing my game so I answered. "You."

ELLE'S POV.

"Who took you? Are you dead? If you are can we bring you back?" I started to bombard her with questions.

"Calm down." I did as she said and took a deep breath. "I am dead." Hearing her say that while looking at her talking to me just breaks my heart. She puts her hand on my cheek and I lean in her touch. She feels so real. "Don't feel bad. I am in a better place now sweetie."

"So where is dad?"

After saying that she drops her hand from my face and looks down. From the look of sadness and grief in her eyes it's not good. "H-he didn't make it."

I furrow my forehead in confusion about to ask her how but she beats me to it. "The demons killed him." Anger and even more hate washed over me as she said those words. "They came after me. Your father was fighting them off until one of them-" she pauses, unable to finish. "Killed him."

"They took me and tortured me."

"Why?" I cried.

"Because I was killing them. I killed their leaders, the most important ones and they wanted revenge. They wanted to know if there was any more of our kind. Some part of me knew either you or Anna would have the same gene as me but I would never let them get their hands on you girls."

"They would torture me for weeks until I almost gave up, on life. But the goddess, the moon goddess herself saved me. Brought me here." She looks around and smile at her garden,  her special place. "Even though your father isn't here with me I still found peace here, remembering all the good moments. But then you started killing and I needed to warn you some how."

"The war is coming, really fast and they won't stop until you're dead."

"Mom I know. I have been training, the pack is helping, the vampires are helping. I think we can win."

"I have no doubt in you, but I need you get this in your head. They will never stop until you die. If you win this war, more will be coming after you. They won't stop sweetie."

That doesn't make me feel better. I thought this over already and I made my decision. I will fight with my people. Help the vampires, I got them in this mess in the first place.  If I die, then I'll know I went down fighting. "I don't care mom. Let them come, I will destroy them for what they did. They ruined our family."

"I love that you've grown to be a brave woman but please don't let hate and revenge cloud your judgement. Do this for your people, do this because it's the right thing. You hear me?"

"Ok."

"That's not the only thing I wanted to talk to you about. Your succubus form. Something is wrong with Elizabeth. You can only change in that form one last time."

"What? Is it what the demons kept giving me?"

"No, I don't know. But something is wrong with her. She only has power to change one last time. So don't shift until the war."

I nod my head yes. "Ok."

She smiles and look at me. "I'm so proud of you." My heart sores hearing her say those words. "What's wrong?"

Her question caught me off guard. "What?" What is she talking about? I'm great.

"That boy that is in love with you." Oh, Andrew.  "Why didn't you tell him you love him?"

I sigh, "Mom I'm not-" She cuts me off.

"Nonsense. I know you and you are in love with that boy."

"What if I'm not ready." I whisper.

"You will know when you are cuddle bear. Don't lie to yourself because it will slowly destroy you. It almost destroyed me."

I look at her surprised. "Really?"

"Your dad and I hated each other. We were assigned a task together and we got closer, later on we found out we were mates and it was kind of awkward. He found out about my secret and it brought us closer and we fell in love." I could see in her eyes that she misses him. She still has that love for him. "Not all love stories are beautiful. When you are ready you tell that man you love him. Ok?"

"Ok Mama." She takes me in her embrace and kisses me on my head.

"It's not your time yet. You hear me? Fight and live." I hug her tighter not wanting to let go. "You tell your sister I am proud of her and I love her ok?"

"I will." We pull apart and she wipes a tear from my face.

"You have to go back now."

I shake my head. "No, I don't want to go yet." I hug her one last time.

"You have to cuddle bear. Remember Fight and live."

I start to drift off. "I love you mom."

"I love you too cuddle bear."

ELIZABETH'S POV.

"Is this a joke to you?" Andrew asks.

"Yes, yes it is."

"Why? Don't you believe in love? Wouldn't you want to know what love feels like?"

You people just don't get. "What is so hard to get in you people's heads, I am a creature that feeds off sex. No I don't." I wouldn't want to anyway. "All I see is love brings you pain. Why would I sign up for that?"

"It's not just pain. It's nice to know that you have someone in your life, that loves you for you and would do anything for you."

"Until they stab you in the back. And who are you to talk? Weren't you the one that didn't want anyone one by your side? Rule the pack by yourself?"

He stays quiet, that's what I thought.

I start to hear a clanging noise outside. "What's that?"

Both the boys look up at the door and see that someone is hitting it. "They're here!" By they I think he means their men.

I stand up and stay back, don't want anything to fall on me. The door opens apart and from the looks of it, it's at least four of them. Simon peeps his head in. "You guys coming or what?"

Cristian turns to me, "C'mon I'll bring you up." I jump on his back and Simon reaches for his hand. With his speed he reaches up and Simon pulls us up. Cristian puts me back down and they help Andrew out.

We quickly ran off the demons property and we all hid as we saw them. The boys take them out and keep me as close to them as possible. In the middle of everything Elle starts coming back. Guess it's time to go.

"They got you back from the demons, now you run with them." I just gave her an heads up.

ELLE'S POV.

I took Elizabeth's warning and continued running with them as I drifted back. I feel a little light headed but I didn't stop.

We finally got back at the cliff and stopped, It's almost sunrise. "Elizabeth lets go and we can wait until Elle is back."

"It's me. I'm back." Relief washes over both Andrew and Cristian's face. What happened? "I'm staying over the Vampires castle." They immediately had shock over their faces. "If that's ok with you?" I asked Cristian.

"Uh yeah. It's ok."

Andrew frowns and I immediately feel bad. I just really wanted some time to myself even though I'm going to be surrounded by vampires and the other man that I love, I just need some time away from him.

I feel my head getting clouded and dizzy. I almost fell but Simon caught me. "Woah there."

"Elle are you ok?" Andrew asked.

I didn't answer him and closed my eyes. "I'll her take to the castle." Simon said. He took me up bridal style and I instantly fall unconscious.

ANDREW'S POV.

Simon takes off with Elle in his arms. The further she was the more I felt my heart leaving. She's mad at me.

"She'll be fine." Cristian assures me.

"Thank you." I said sincerely.

Then I punched him. He stumbles back and look at me with shock. "That's for whatever you did to Elle to break her heart."

I turned around and walked away from him with my men behind me.

He is obviously the reason she left and part of the reason she came crying at my front door. Ever since Elizabeth said he had a thing with Elle I had my confirmation that he was the cause. And now I know why she didn't say it back.

Because of him.
