Chapter 43 The big day

1 week later.

It's been a week and I still haven't gotten over the fact that Cristian is gone. I'll never see him again. I miss him so much.

I haven't really been talking to people a lot, just when needed. Andrew has been there for me, supporting me and also given me space when I need it and I really appreciate him.

Anna left two days ago back to the Lunar pack with Aiden. She's been there for me since I woke up and I will be fine without her for a few weeks. Plus I will be busy learning more about my Luna role so I will be distracted most of the time.

I sniffle as I look out the window at the kids playing. I hear the door open and I look to see it's Andrew.

"Hey."

"I brought you some soup."

"Thank you."

He places the bowl on the small table. He kneels in front of me and place his hand on my leg.

"Are you ok? Is Elizabeth still....?" He wants to know if she is satisfied. If she got her revenge.

I haven't told him anything about what my mother told me and it's time.

"I should tell you something... about what happened when the demons took me." His look told me he is listening so I continued. "When Elizabeth took control I saw my mom. Like I really talked to her. She wanted to warned me, that I only had one last time in my succubus form."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't want you to worry, any of you because if you knew that I was weak you wouldn't leave my side and-"

"You are not weak. Elizabeth doesn't make you strong Elle. You're strong all by yourself." He pauses for a few seconds. "I didn't want you to know but... I would see you train from time to time before all this and I thought it was pretty cool. You're a badass and you don't even know it."

I smile while finding that a little creepy. "Creep."

He laughs and takes my hand in his. "That's why I didn't want to tell you. Is she still there?"

"I haven't felt her from the war."

"It's fine. You'll be fine."

After Andrew and I finished talking and ate the soup I took a shower and Andrew left to play some basket ball. He looked so hot playing with his ball.

Now that I think about it, that sounds wrong.

I just finished my chamomile tea I'm feeling a little drowsy so I'm heading to bed. I enter the room and see a dark figure.

I am now in high alert. "Who the hell are you?"

The figure steps out of the dark and I hold my breath from shock. "Simon?"

"I don't want hurt you."

"What are you doing here?"

"I wanted see you before I left. I wanted to see you as soon as you woke up but I wasn't sure if you wanted to see me."

"I think you should leave."

I saw him visibly gulp. He sighs and says, "I'm sorry and I don't expect you to forgive me b-but I wanted to tell you that I truly do love you and I didn't mean to bring this to you or Cristian."

I close my eyes as he says Cristian's name. "Why did you do it? I thought you cared about Cristian."

"My parents. He had my parents. He was going to kill them if I didn't do it. I just found out that he already killed them." I could hear a crack in his voice.

"I'm sorry."

He smiles at me sadly. "Take care of yourself little one." He turns around to leave and I couldn't stop myself from tell him,

"You too." Because I still care about him. I just don't forgive him.

2 months later.

"Nooo! Put the white Dahlias on the left and the red ones on the right!"

"Does it matter matter what side their one?"

Oh no.

"What did you just say? Of course it does!" Anna screams. "You can not have colored first. It's always white then-"

I quickly run over to her. "Ook, you need to calm down." I turn away from the scenery and plead with him with my eyes. He sighs and gets back to work with the others. "You don't have to be so hard on them."

"I know but this is one of the biggest day of your life. You're finally going to Luna and the night has to be perfect."

"And I trust you are the one to do it but please.... do not scare them."

"No promises. And why are you out of your room? And your make up isn't done yet?! You and Andrew are both getting on my nerves!"

"Anna the ceremony is in four hours, we have time."

"Four hours?!" She checks her and starts freaking out. "I thought we had more time. Even worse. Get your ass back in that room and don't let me say it again." She said threateningly.

I didn't waste any time and ran back to the my room. I might be the future Luna of the pack but my sister still scares me.

I close the door and Andrew scares me grabbing me by the waist and pulling me in for a kiss. I almost melt until I remember Anna's voice, "Get your ass back in that room and don't let me say it again." Well I am in the room but I'm still scared.

I quickly pull away. "What are you doing in here?"

"I needed to see you before tonight."

"Anna is going to freak if she finds you in here."

"I'll hide." He pulls me back in starts kissing me on my neck. My eyes roll back as leaves peppery kisses on my mark.

"We shouldn't be doing this right now...but we got like 15 minutes." I laugh as he lifts me up bridal style and carries me to the bed.

2 hours later.

"You look so beautiful." Veronica gushes as she looks finishes my make up. I smile almost getting teary. "You're going to a great Luna."

"Got to admit. I'm a little nervous."

"Oh don't worry. You got this and if you need help, you got me."

I take her hand in mine. "Thank you so much for being there for me for the past few months. Training me and being able to talk to you. You've been like a mother to me."

"Oh don't make me cry. Come here."

She gives me the tightest hug while I trying to gasp for air. "I love you but you got let me breath."

She quickly lets go of me and laugh as she wipe the tears from her eyes. Anna comes rushing in and look at us confused.

"Why are you both crying? Oh no. Is something wrong? Whose ass do I have to kick?"

I run up to her while pulling Veronica with me and hug them both.

"Why are we hugging? We have less than two hours until the ceremony."

"Can't I just hug my big sister and future mother in law?"

"Yes but not when you're about to take the Luna title. No offence." She says to Veronica.

She laughs it off and say, "None taken."

"Just hug us back and I'll let go." She finally hugs back and we all laugh and started crying and that led to Anna complaining about us ruining our make up.

*Ceremony time*

I finally finished getting getting ready. I am wearing a beautiful white off the shoulders flowing dress. Might say the most beautiful dress I have ever seen. Veronica thought he was best for my hair to be worn down and curled with my make up natural and I love it.

"Wow. You're dress is gorgeous." Emma gushes.

"Thanks I picked it out." Anna answered.

I roll my eyes at her attitude and say, "Thank you, Emma." Anna really doesn't like Emma.

"Ceremony starts in 5 minutes people!" Anna shouted. She starts looking around. "Where the hell is Andrew?"

"I'm right here. Chris got some-"

Anna cuts him off. "I don't care. Get in line like we practiced."

Andrew walks over to me with gaping mouth looking at me. I smile as I look at him in his tux. "You look handsome."

"And you look breath taking." He pulls me in by the waist and I place my hands on his chest. We slowly move in but Anna stops us.

"No kissing. It's time."

"Are you ready?" He asks.

I exhale and nod yes. He takes my hand and wait for our us to be announced.

"Today we shall welcome and accept our new Luna. She shall lead and protect us along the side of the Alpha. Everyone the Alpha and the Luna."

We both walk through the path way together. Everyone bows as we pass them.

My heart is beating out of my chest and my hands are getting sweaty. I feel Andrew squeeze my hand and I instantly calm down. I feel much better knowing he's here with me.

We both kneel in front of Veronica and Jackson. They both smile proudly at us and continue.

"Our title will be passed down to you both. Elle Cora Cooper, do you solemnly promise to lead this pack, protect this pack, provide for this pack and stand by this pack?"

I take a breath and proudly answer, "I promise."

"And Andrew Collin Walters, do you solemnly promise to lead this pack, protect this pack, provide for this pack and stand by this pack?"

"I promise."

They are given two beautiful crowns. "These are crowns that were worn by our ancestors and they shall be passed down to you."

We lower our head as they place the crowns on our head. After, we both rise and face the pack.

"To finish this ceremony we have to complete the bond of the pack." One member walks in front of us with a container of blood. I take the knife provided and cut a small fraction of my hand and drain some of my blood in it and Andrew does the same.

They take the container with the blood and place in on the ritual stone. This stone is one of the most sacred thing to this pack. This is how we receive blessings from the moon goddess.

"With our peace offering, we shall wait until the moon goddess bless us by binding us together. Make us stronger and make us one."

As the moon light shine on the container we wait for our sign of approval.

Suddenly there is a glow in the container. There it is.

I gasp as I feel power surging through me. I could feel us all bonding together one by one. All our eyes glow a bright blue color, meaning that the bond is complete.

After three seconds of silence it is announced. "The bond is complete. The Luna and Alpha of The Royal Blue Moon Pack!"

Everyone starts to cheer, howling and laughing. The pack is filled with joy.

I immediately wrap my arms around Andrew we hug the life out each other. We are about to kiss but we stop and look at Anna. She rolls her eyes smiling and give us the go.

We laugh and didn't waste our time. I grab his face and kiss the life out of him.

"My sister is the Luna!" Anna shouted in the back.

I laugh as I hear her cheering. I'm happy. I'm finally happy and everything is going to be ok.

Or will it?
