Chapter 6 Paradise

While Simon is taking me back to the room, I can not seem to shake Cristian from my head. I don't know what it is, but I had this... sexual feeling towards him, which I have never happened before with anyone, not even Andrew and he was my mate.

I don't know if its a vampire thing or something. I would have to ask, but what if it's not? They might think I'm weird. Well they better not, its not my fault their hot.

Oh my god! What is wrong with me?!

"Well, here we are." Simon said interrupting my rambling which I was thankful for. "You better not leave your room unless someone escorts you out ok?"

"Ok."

He nods in satisfactory and opens the door for me. I walk in the room taking it all in again.

"There are clothes in the closet for you and anything you might need in there as well as the bathroom. There will also be a guard at your door in a few minutes so if you want anything, ask him"

After nodding my head in understanding, he locks the door and I was left alone. I decided to take a shower while I was in here. I took a long hot shower to loosen my tensed muscles and it worked like magic.

I come out of the bathroom in a towel and waddle over to the closet. I found a cute back and white polka dot pajama set and decided to just wear that to bed.

I let out a tiring sigh and walk over to the bed. I lay down, closing my eyes, attempting to fall asleep but I couldn't, not after not talking to Eva all day.

"Goodnight Eva." I said hopefully she will answer.

"Goodnight Elle."

I let out a sigh of relief knowing she was ok enough to answer me. I closed my eyes drifting off in a peaceful sleep.

ANDREW POV.

"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT ANDREW! YOU'RE THE REASON WHY OUR MATE RAN AWAY!" Damon shouted at me with raging anger.

"Look, I didn't know she was going to leave. I'm sorry"

"I know your not sorry you asshole! You made your fucking pride get in the way and now our mate is gone because of you and for what? Your fucking stupidity."

"Damon just calm the fuck down, ok? We will find her and keep her as close to us as possible." I tried to reassure him.

"You better because if you don't, I'm going to make your life a living hell. You hear me?!" He threatens.

"I promise you, I will find her"

"Please Andrew, she's my mate and I can't live without her. I just want her back"  He whimpers.

I close him off to leave him to his self and so that I could concentrate. After the fight with Elle and Emma, I couldn't believe what I just witnessed. I felt this power radiate off her that I couldn't explain and made me shocked enough that I couldn't move and made me just want to do things to her on that very spot.

Ugh! I need stop with these thoughts.

I never felt this want for someone before, it's strange and I can't get her off my mind. Mostly because Damon won't shut up about it and.... just her living in my mind.

It's probably the mate bind but I totally regret ever rejecting her. I want her back and I'm going to get my mate back.

ELLE'S POV.

I wake up screaming from my nightmare. My mom rushes into my room with worry on her face finding me curled in a ball, crying.

"Honey what's wrong, was it another nightmare?" My mother asked while removing the wet hair from my face.

"Mommy, please don't leave me, I'm scared" I whimpered while clutching her shirt like my life depended on it.

"Oh honey we're not going to leave you" my father said while hugging both my mom and I.

"We love you ok sweetie, we wont let anything thing bad happen to you." My mother promised.

"Ok." I whispered and slowly drifted off to sleep in her arms.

I slowly open my eyes but clos them immediately when the sunlight met my eyes. I let out a groan as I turn my face the other direction and open my eyes again. I let out a huge yawn while stretching my limps out in the most weird positions before running into the bathroom to relieve myself.

After I was done with my business, I found a tooth brush that wasn't used and brushed my teeth then washed the sleep from my face. After drying my face with a towel, I head straight to the closet and changed out of my pajamas. I chose to wear a red crop top sweater with a black high waisted jeans and a back Nike shoes. I'm so glad they have clothes that I like, but they also have dresses that I don't wear so that's a no.

I sit on the bed just thinking of what I would do while I was here but my parents sneak their way back into my mind in the process. I need to get my things back, all the stuff I collected about my parents, my phone, money and clothes were left in the woods. I remembered Simon told me a guard would be outside the door so I could ask him.

I tip toes over to the door for some stupid reason and open slowly open it. I spot the same guy that opened the door to Cristian's office standing at the front door, I got to say he's cute.

Stop and focus.

"Hi."

"Would you like something miss?" he asked politely.

Miss? Really? Ok.

"I...um lost my bag in the woods and I really need it back." I stated shyly.

"Oh, I would have to talk to Simon about that, please stay here until me or Simon comes back."

"Ok."

He nods and waits for me to close the door before he walks off to find Simon.

"I need to run Elle." Eva said out of no where. She doesn't sound like her usual self but still sounds better than before.

"Are you ok, Eva?" I am really concerned for her.

"Yeah, I just want to run a little." She still sounds so down.

"I will have to ask them if I could go but I want to know how you feel about staying here with.... the vampires." I needed to make sure that she was ok with this.

I can't stand for her to be uncomfortable or intimidated by them.

"I honestly don't care anymore I just want to run."

"Ok." I gave up with a frown.

After a few moments spent with making sure that Eva was ok, I hear a knock on the door. I gave the person permission to enter and I was happy to see it was Simon for some reason.

"You said you wanted your bag?"

"Uh yeah, I left it in a small cave but I'm not exactly sure where."

"Oh don't worry, there are just a few caves out near the boarders so it won't be hard to find it." He said about to go out the door.

"Wait! I have to run."

"What?" He asks with a risen eyebrow.

"My wolf wants to run, I only shifted once and she just wants to run in her form again." I explained.

"I can't let you do that"

"Please Simon, my wolf needs this. She is still upset about getting rejected."

I am really trying not to break down Simon, just let me do this! I see him do the same thing Cristian did yesterday.

What is up with that?

"Fine, but you only have 10 minutes."

"Thank you so much." I said cheerly.

"Yeah, yeah lets go." He walks out the room and waits for me to come out. When I did, he closed the door.

"Nice outfit." He comments nonchalantly.

"Thanks." I smiled a little caught off guard by his compliment. "What is that thing you keep doing?" I ask trying to keep the conversation going.

"What thing?"

"That thing you do when you just look ahead like you left the room."

"That's when I mind link someone."

"Wait, vampires can mind link each other?"

"Not exactly, only royalty or vampires in high ranking can."

"Oh." I decided to just leave it at that mostly because I don't know what to ask him.

After 2 hallways, four flights of stairs and another hallway we finally made it outside. It felt so good to be out in the forest again but I would have enjoyed it more if I didn't have to walk so much.

"Hey, maybe you guys should put a elevator in there." I suggested.

He ignored me and continued walking further in the forest. After a little walking he stopped.

"You can shift here and don't run out to the boarders, guards are out there and they might find you as a threat." He warned.

"Ok."

"We meet back here in ten minutes, I will be looking for your bag in the mean while." He then disappeared into the woods leaving me by myself.

"Ok what do I do now?" I asked Eva.

"You're just going to concentrate and imagine being in wolf form."

I did just that. I imagined myself as a white wolf remembering I had white fur. I spent a good minute of my bones breaking and rearranging but this time it didn't hurt like the first time. It still hurt but the pain was bearable.

I am finally in my wolf form and I couldn't feel anymore free. I couldn't waste my time so I immediately took off. Eva and I are both enjoying ourselves as we run so freely, feeling the wind blowing through our fur, enjoying the feeling of being surrounded my nature.....

This is paradise.
