Chapter 32
Ana finished playing the song, and a moment of silence followed. The audience was captivated, and familiar music filled the room. Ana’s fingers danced across the piano keys, and the audience, both familiar and foreign, rose to their feet to applaud her performance.
Ana wiped away tears from her eyes and looked around in disbelief.
“Martin, we thought… Ana didn’t know how to play the piano,” one of her friends said.
“Yeah, I remember that. We taught her because she said she didn’t know how to play any instruments, right?”
“She’s outstanding!”
Ignoring his friends’ comments, Martin continued to stare at Ana, who was still staring blankly at the piano.
The host coughed and quickly made his way to the stage to praise Ana. “Wow! That was an outstanding performance, Lady Ana!”
Ana blinked and smiled at the host before standing up to face the audience. “How did you learn to play the piano, Lady Ana?” the host asked.
Ana smiled and took a deep breath. “I don’t know, to be honest. I don’t know how to play the piano or any other instruments,” Ana replied with a laugh, which elicited laughter from the audience.
“Wow! But your piano playing looked so professional, Lady Ana!” the host praised her, and Ana laughed before turning back to the audience.
She may not have known how to play any instruments, but she was carried away when she started playing a song she had never heard before.
If she hadn’t searched for the Montes family, she might not have found out that it was Don Ignacio Montes’ wife favorite music.
After hearing Martin and his uncle’s conversation about the Montes, she tried to search for articles, hoping to find information about the Montes.
*** FLASHBACK
“Article! Article! Why isn’t anything coming up? TSK!”
“What really happened 28 years ago? Damn it!”
She tried to look at the newspapers on the internet again, hoping to locate the issue about the Montes 28 years ago, but she still couldn’t find any information.
She slammed the table and leaned back in her swivel chair because she still couldn’t find any articles about them.
“Lady Ana?”
Ana panicked and turned off her laptop when the mansion’s housekeeper arrived.
“Teresita...”
She smiled at me and placed the cup on my table. “It’s already late, and I thought of giving you some milk,” Teresita said with a smile. Ana smiled back and thanked the old woman.
“You should rest. I’ll be going to bed soon, too.”
Teresita nodded and was about to leave the office when Ana remembered something and stopped her.
“Oh, how many years have you been serving the Montecillos?”
Teresina paused and looked at Ana. “Why, Lady Ana?”
Ana smiled and shrugged, thinking that the old woman might also know something about the Montes.
“Just call me Ana,” Ana said. Teresita sighed and smiled at Ana.
“Thank you, Ana. By the way, why did you ask?”
Ana took a deep breath and gestured for Teresita to sit down, which she did.
“I just wanted to know how long you've been serving the Montecillos. I think you’ve been loyal to them for a long time?”
Teresita nodded and smiled.
“I’ve been serving the Montecillos for three decades, since I was still single and Don Martinez, Don Martin’s father, was still young. I also took care of Don Martin when he was a child, but only for a short time because Don Martinez sent him abroad to study, so I didn’t see him grow up,” Teresita said with a smile as she shared her story with Ana, who also smiled.
Ana hesitated to ask Teresita, but eventually decided to inquire, “You’ve been here for a long time. Do you also know the Montes family?”
Teresita’s eyes widened at the mention of the Montes family. “H-how did you find out about the Montes family?” she asked anxiously, causing Ana to furrow her brow in response.
Ana took a deep breath and gently shook her head at Teresita. “It’s not necessary, but I’ve heard about them,” Ana replied with a smile, noticing Teresita’s tightened grip on her hand.
“I’ve known them for a long time, since Don Ignacio was young. He was famous in San Alfonso, along with Don Martinez. They were close friends and had the same aspirations for the town,” Teresita said, bowing her head, her voice trembling. “Don Ignacio was kind, especially his whole family. They never acted superior or boastful about their wealth. They were helpful to the people, generous, and not abusive.”
Ana stood up and approached Teresita, who was tearful as she spoke. “Teresita, I want to know the entire truth about what happened 28 years ago,” Ana said seriously, causing Teresita to look up at her.
Teresita shook her head and wiped her tears. “Don Levi prohibited anyone from talking about what happened 28 years ago. They removed the Montes family from the list and also erased Hacienda De Montes from the map. Everyone forgot the good deeds Don Ignacio did for the town,” Teresita lamented the fate of the Montes family. “DON Levi also forbade anyone from mentioning the Montes name.”
Ana nodded and whispered, “That’s why I couldn’t find any articles about the Montes.”
Teresita heard Ana’s whisper and looked at her. “There were many articles about the Montes family, but Don Levi had them all removed, and the people agreed with his decision. However, I have some saved newspapers and the only history of the Montes. Wait, I’ll give them to you.” Teresita stood up and left Ana’s office to retrieve the information she had saved about the Montes.
Ana returned to her swivel chair and leaned back, waiting for Teresita. She pondered on what she had heard and realized that she didn’t learn anything important about the Montes family and why this case was so crucial to Don Martinez.
“Ana, here it is.” Teresita hurriedly laid out all the crucial information about the Montes.
Ana looked at the newspapers Teresita had placed on her desk and smiled at Teresita.
“Thank you, Teresita. You can rest now. I’ll take care of this,” Ana said with a smile, but she noticed that Teresita held her hand, which surprised her.
“I hope they get real justice…”
Teresita left the office before Ana could respond.
Ana furrowed her brow, a question lingering in her mind, “What did she mean?”
She furrowed her brow as she read the newspapers and other information about the Montes. She went through everything and paused at one thing.
“Lady Stella?”
She read the contents about Lady Stella.
“She loves music?”
She grinned, thinking of playing it at the event she
had prepared for everyone and seeing the reaction of those who knew the Montes family.
***
She looked at the people and saw the different reactions of those who knew the Montes. She smiled and took a deep breath before bowing to conclude her performance.
The audience applauded, and she waved before Martin helped her back to her seat, where she continued to enjoy the festivities. Their friends greeted her with praise.
“That was outstanding, Ana!”
“Unbelievable!”
“Magnificent!”
She just smiled at her friends. The audience also congratulated her and approached her to praise her piano playing.
“How did you find out about that song?”
Ana paused and looked at Maximiliano, who was staring at her seriously.
But Ana smiled. “Oh? About that? That’s my parents’ favorite,” she lied with a smile to Maximiliano, who just nodded at her and suddenly smiled.
“Eres maravillosa como ella, (You are wonderful like her,)” Maximiliano said, looking at Ana, who was smiling at her guests.
Martin looked at Maximiliano because he understood what he said.
“Max?”
Maximiliano just nodded at Martin, who understood what he said, and patted him on the shoulder before standing up to say goodbye, as he had someone to talk to.
The festivities continued, and Ana approached the Villalobos, who were quiet after what she had done.
“How was my presentation? Did you like it?” she asked them, taking them surprised.
Levi laughed, even though he was clearly sweating. “About that song, how did you find out about it?”
Ana raised an eyebrow and smiled at Levi.
“Oh, from what I heard, the song I played is one of the favorites of Don Ignacio Montes' wife,” she said with a smile, and Levi and Caridad seemed to be in disbelief at what they heard.
She glanced at the others, looking surprised by her words. “What? Did I say something wrong?” she innocently asked.
Levi cleared his throat to get Ana’s attention, and she turned to him, raising an eyebrow.
“That name should not be mentioned,” Levi said seriously.
Ana's expression changed, but she didn't let it show to her guests and thoughts, “So, Alexis and Aunt Teresita were right?”
She took a deep breath and smiled again. “Oh, my bad, I didn’t know about this,” Ana apologized, smiling discreetly.
Levi smiled. “Don’t worry, I know you didn’t know, so… It’s okay.”
Ana laughed, gradually becoming more puzzled by her guests, and she almost cried from laughing. “S-sorry, I just remembered something,” she wiped her tears and approached Levi, whispering in his ear, “Why are you so nervous, Don Levi?”
The old man straightened up and just stared at Ana, who grinned at him before moving closer to Martin.
The host coughed to ease the tension and regain everyone’s attention.
The band started playing a slow dance, and Martin took Ana's hand to dance with her. Others joined in to accompany the two important figures in the celebration.
Ana hugged Martin and closed her eyes to feel the music, making their evening even more beautiful.
“How did you know about Montes?” Martin whispered to her.
“Oh, sorry. I heard you talking about the Montes,” she whispered back as they danced. Martin gave her a stern look, but she just laughed.
“I knew it! You!”
Ana chuckled and hugged Martin again.
“Please, tell me your plan. I don’t want you to get hurt.”
Ana smiled and nodded at Martin. They continued dancing, feeling the beauty of the music. Martin pulled Ana closer to him. He whispered in her ear, “You’re beautiful.”
Ana swallowed and held on to Martin's shoulder tighter, feeling something different. “Not now,” she whispered to him, but he didn’t listen and kissed her ear. “Damn you!” Ana playfully hit Martin.
Martin hugged her again, but Ana stopped when she saw Mateo glaring at them. She grinned at Mateo and held on to Martin even tighter, causing him to pause.
“Fuck! Don’t make him mad,” Martin whispered. Ana just grinned and put her index finger on Martin’s lips. “Shh, Mateo is looking at us.”
Martin paused, but then grinned and turned to face Mateo. He subtly raised his middle finger to tease Mateo, which only made Mateo angrier.
“Don’t tease him!” Ana playfully scolded Martin, who just shrugged and continued to provoke Mateo.
Unable to bear it, Mateo walked over to where Ana and Martin were. He stopped in front of them.
“May I have this dance, Ana?”
Ana and Martin stopped and separated when they saw Mateo in front of them. Martin looked at Mateo with annoyance.
Mateo also looked at Martin’s hand on Ana’s waist and clenched his fist, but he took a deep breath and smiled at them, not wanting to cause a scene and upset Ana.
Meanwhile, Chloe’s eyes widened when she saw Mateo standing in front of Martin and Ana. She looked around, worried that people might wonder why her husband approached Ana.
She clenched her fists and stood up to go to Mateo, but Levi stopped him.
“Let him be,” Don Levi said seriously.
Chloe was surprised and looked at Levi. “But dad—,” she stopped when she saw Levi’s blank face.
She took a deep breath and sat back down, letting it go because Levi might get angry with her.
“MR. VILLALOBOS,” Ana greeted with a smile as she held on to Martin.
Mateo ignored Ana’s mention of his last name because he had been wanting to dance with his ex-wife.
“Can I have this dance, Ana?” Mateo repeated.
Martin and Ana looked at each other, but Martin shook his head to indicate that he would refuse. Ana just grinned and winked at Martin before extending her hand to Mateo, which he took and kissed.
“Ana,”
Ana glanced at Martin and just grinned before joining Mateo in the middle of the dance floor to dance.
Mateo put Ana’s arm around his neck and hugged her waist. Ana winced because she suddenly felt awkward in Mateo’s embrace.
She couldn’t believe she had been married to Mateo before. It was only now that she realized she should have left the man a long time ago when her life became so quiet, but… the past couldn’t be brought back, and she wouldn’t have met Martin if her life hadn’t been so messed up.
“You’re mine,” Mateo said.
Ana was taken aback by Mateo’s words, but she just grinned at him and hugged him, even though she was repulsed by her former husband. Ana stopped when she noticed Chloe, whose anger was evident and only seemed to amuse her more.
“But your wife…” Ana pretended to point out that his wife, Chloe, was present.
Mateo shook his head. “Sshh, she’s nothing but trash.”
Ana’s grin widened, and she couldn’t contain her joy at playing with the couple.
“No one can touch you, not even Martin.”
Ana’s smile disappeared, and she lost interest in playing with Mateo.
“Come with me, Ana, let’s get away from here.”
Ana blinked and looked at Mateo, but then glanced at Mateo’s parents. “Your parents…”
Mateo shook his head again. “I don’t care about them.”
Ana raised an eyebrow. “Oh?” She almost choked on her laughter, as it was clear that Mateo was going insane. She could also use the young man against his parents.
Furthermore, she held on to Mateo tightly, which pleased him.
“Uh… Mateo?”
“Yes, wife?”
“Wife?” Ana just grinned and ignored it, as she would let Mateo call her whatever he wanted to avoid ruining her plan.
“Do you know about the Montes?”
Mateo paused, but he answered Ana's question. “Yes, but I was still young when I last saw them because my father sent me to Manila to continue my studies. Why?”
Ana furrowed her brow as she glanced at Mateo. “Why are they no longer on the map of San Alfonso?”
Mateo thought for a moment and then looked back at Ana. “Hmm… As far as I know, Don Ignacio did something to the town, and the townspeople cursed them. After my father won as Vice Mayor, the tragedy happened. That’s all I’ve heard. Wait, are you interested in them?”
Ana shook her head and smiled. “No, I’m just curious.”
Ana fell silent after hearing Mateo’s response, but it seemed like something was still missing.
“Lady Ana,”
Ana and Mateo stopped in their tracks when they saw Tyron.
“Chief Chen,” Ana greeted the young man, while Mateo looked at him with a serious expression. Tyron smiled and extended his hand towards Ana.
“May I dance with you?”
Ana immediately separated from Mateo and took Tyron’s hand. “Let’s go!” Ana glanced at Mateo, who was frowning, but she just touched his face before joining Tyron, who carefully guided her.
“Damn, Martin!” Tyron whispered, and Ana laughed. Tyron suddenly shivered as Martin's gaze became sharper.
“Any update?” Ana whispered to him.
Tyron shook his head slowly. “For now, I’m still looking for a way to go against the Villalobos. No one wants to talk about what happened 28 years ago.”
Ana smiled, noticing Levi’s gaze. She approached Tyron to ensure no one could overhear their conversation.
“According to Mateo, Don Ignacio did something in the town. We’ll have a hard time exposing the Villalobos' secrets until we know what happened back then,” Ana said. Tyron sighed, and the situation seemed to be getting worse.
“Alexis' situation seems planned. It’s as if they wanted to find out what you were doing in the Montes' territory, which has been removed from the map of San Alfonso.”
Ana nodded, looking at Don Levi.
“Be careful with Levi, Tyron. He's a cunning enemy,” Ana warned.
Tyron nodded at Ana. “Please also check the information about Maximiliano Hernandez.”
Tyron paused when he heard his friend's name. “Wait, is he here?”
Ana nodded. “Do you know him?”
Tyron nodded again and scratched his head. “Yes, he’s a friend of mine. I mean, we were friends back then with Martin.”
“Yeah, I heard that. He’s here. And I think there’s something different about him. He wouldn’t come to the Philippines for no reason,” Ana said.
Tyron pursed his lips and shrugged, as he could tell that Ana also wanted to know more about his friend.
“Got it. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of him.”
Tyron turned around and slowly let go of Ana’s hand, as Martin’s eyes were starting to burn. Before he could get burned, he moved away as much as possible.
“Thank you, Lady Ana,” Tyron bowed and was about to kiss Ana’s hand, but Martin suddenly pulled him back.
“Don’t kiss her hand, Chief.”
Tyron scratched his head and just raised his hand. “Sorry, Martin, I’m leaving!”
Ana and Tyron exchanged glances and subtly nodded at each other before Tyron left.
“Ahem!”
Ana glanced at Martin, who raised an eyebrow at her.
“It looks like you two are close,” he said.
Ana grinned and held on to Martin.
“You’re jealous?” she teased.
“No,” he replied.
“Yes, you are! Admit it!”
“No, I’m not.”
Ana raised her eyebrows and nodded. “Okay, fine! Wait, where’s my ex-husband?” she asked, pretending to look for Mateo. She then peeked at Martin, who furrowed his brow, but she suddenly pointed to where Mateo was. “Oh! There he is! Mateo—hmm pp!” Martin covered her mouth, so she just grinned and removed his hand from her mouth.
“See? You’re not jealous, huh?” Ana grinned and crossed her arms, teasing Martin.
Martin coughed, still emotionless, but Ana noticed the slight reddening of his ears, so she just shrugged and continued to enjoy the party until they reached the late hours.
“Thank you for inviting us, Lady Ana and Don Martin! I’ll invest in your company,”
Martin nodded, and Ana smiled. “Sure, we can talk about this.”
Martin just held her waist. She looked at him, still not smiling, so she nudged him to signal him to smile, even if it wasn’t a genuine one.
The Villalobos approached them, so she stopped
and smiled. “Thank you, Lady Ana,” Levi said. Ana grinned and shook hands with them.
“Thank you for coming to my party, Don Levi and Lady Caridad!” She kissed them on the cheek. “The same goes for you, Chloe and Mateo.” She nodded at them and hugged them. “Keep an eye on your husband, dear,” she whispered to Chloe, who widened her eyes, but Ana just smiled at her.
Ana waved goodbye to the Villalobos, who had just left the mansion. After the guests had left, Ana stretched her arms because she had finished preparing. She also found out that many people knew the Montes because of their reaction.
Ana was suddenly stopped when Martin picked her up. “Martin!” she shouted and slapped the young man. “I can walk.” she added.
Martin nodded as they climbed the stairs. “Yeah, but you have a punishment,” he said.
Ana raised an eyebrow and blinked because she didn’t know what punishment Martin was talking about. “For what?”
Martin gave her a look and opened the door to her room. As soon as they entered the room, they couldn’t wait to kiss each other. Ana clung tightly to Martin’s shoulder while they kissed as if they were hungry for each other.
Martin slowly unzipped Ana’s gown while their lips were still locked in a passionate kiss. He then removed her gown, leaving her in just her underwear.
Their lips parted briefly to catch their breath, but Martin continued to kiss Ana's neck, causing her to moan in pleasure.
“Please, Mark,” Ana struggled to say, feeling like she could explode at any moment.
Martin looked up at her and grinned before continuing to kiss her neck and then down to her chest. He slowly removed her bra using only his lips and kissed her ample bosom, driving Ana wild with pleasure.
“Ohhhh…!”
Martin grinned as he heard Ana’s moans of pleasure. He then walked over to the bed and laid Ana down, removing her hand from his neck and gazing at her flushed and sweaty face.
Martin ran his hand through his hair and bit his lip before loosening his necktie. “Get ready for your punishment, dear,” he said with a smirk. He then removed his shirt and leaned in to kiss Ana, who eagerly responded.
He then continued to kiss her, moving down to her chest and sucking on her breast.
“Ohhhh….!”
Ana closed her eyes and bit her lip as she savored the romance that Martin was giving her. Martin parted Ana’s legs and placed them on his shoulders.
He grinned as he saw Ana gripping the sheets tightly and almost cutting her lip from biting it so hard.
Martin removed Ana’s underwear with his poisonous lips.
“No…! No…!” Ana screamed, but Martin just grinned.
“It’s too late for now, dear… I can’t hold back myself,” Martin whispered, then he licked her pussy, causing Ana to moan loudly.
Ana’s eyes widened with tears, and she bit her lip harder.
“M-Martin…!”
“Moan my name, sweetheart,”
Martin licked her pussy again and again. He stiffened his tongue and entered Ana, making her moan. The girl squirmed as Martin continued his actions.
“M-Martin… I’m c-cumming…”
Martin grinned and shook his head. “Not yet.”
“No.”
“Nah-uh-uh…”
He inserted two fingers inside Ana, making her moan. Don Martin kissed Ana again, almost unable to keep up with her kiss due to the pain and Ana’s soft moans.
Martin quickened the pace of his fingers, making Ana squirm even more until she reached her climax. The girl lay breathless on the bed, glaring at Martin, who innocently looked back at her. The young man just grinned at her as he removed his belt.
Ana’s eyes widened again as she saw his large manhood. Martin took a condom and opened it with a grin before putting it on his manhood.
“It will hurt you, but I’ll make you moan,” Martin said with a grin as he carefully entered Ana, causing her to cry out in pain.
Even though something had happened between them, it was still different when they were in the right mood, especially when Martin's size was not normal.
Martin paused for a moment and wiped Ana’s tears before slowly moving inside her. Ana clung tightly to the sheets as Martin moved on top of her. Loud moans echoed throughout the room.
“Eres mía, nadie puede tocarte. Cada parte de ti es mía. (You are mine, no one can touch you. Every part of you is mine.)”
