173 Determined to Leave the Villa

Despite her confidence, Yun Bixue's voice was shaky, and she seemed to be in a hurry to hear Ji Qiongxin's confirmation.

"Bixue, you can rest assured that Xie Limo is safe. Ever since Limo came to Ning An City, a number of people from the Xie family have followed. I can't disclose too much over the phone, but you should have confidence in Limo."

Hearing Ji Qiongxin's words, Yun Bixue finally felt assured. She replied, "I understand, Mom."

"Alright, have a good rest. He will surely fulfill his promise to you and return tonight. Limo knows what he's doing no matter the task."

"You can skip those formalities with me."

After hanging up the phone, Yun Bixue looked at the snowflakes outside and took a deep breath. She simply sat in the house, waiting. Finally, she couldn't bear sitting nor standing and began to pace around the house.

Dinner was skipped.

She stared at the clock on the wall, looking at the time. After the clock struck ten, her cheeks started turning pale. She reached for her phone to make a call but was interrupted by a news report that sprung into the screen.

"Today, a violent fight occurred at an abandoned car park at 58 Shun Nan Road. Six were either dead or injured, and gang members may have been the cause… The matter is still under investigation… It has attracted the attention of officials… but our reporters have yet to get in touch with Young Master Xie…"

Yun Bixue hand shook, and she almost dropped her phone. She couldn't just sit around and wait for things to happen anymore. Even if there were dangers, even if everyone was opposed to it, she was going to head outside.

She remembered that Xie Limo's car had a tracking system.

Yun Bixue changed into clothes that were easier to move in, found herself a bullet-proof vest, and tied her hair in a ponytail. After strapping on a pair of sports shoes, she tucked a number of bladed weapons onto her and stormed out of the house.

The villa's security team immediately rallied. "We have to follow Madam and protect her."

Catching up to Yun Bixue and protecting her wouldn't be easy; when Yun Bixue left the villa, she slammed on the accelerator and took the same direction that Xie Limo left in that day.

Luckily, the vehicles in the Xie family were connected by passwords. She only needed to trace the route and follow it.

She arrived at Block B and parked her car. She walked through the building, but someone stopped her at a turn on the street.

"Shen Zhengyao?"

Shen Zhengyao's wore a savage and dark expression. He stared fiercely at Yun Bixue and said, "Haha, Yun Bixue, Miss Yun, so it's you. You're the one put the Shen family in this pitiful state! I'll avenge my family today!"

"It was your own actions that landed the Shen family in where it is now, what does that have to do with me?"

The color drained from Yun Bixue's face. She turned around and looked at Block B. If her tracking was correct, Xie Limo should be inside. She had to prevent Shen Zhengyao from detonating that bomb.
