26 The Beginning of Dealing with Scum

Yun Bixue shook her head. She would deal with these matters herself. She had always considered their blood ties in the past, but having suffered such ill-treatment, she would not back down anymore.

As she pondered, Yun Bixue's eyes revealed a sharp look.

Old Master Yun sighed softly. His granddaughter was good at everything but was too held back by her family. "Nuan Nuan! In the future, do everything that you want to do freely. There is no need to be concerned about me. My only wish is that you would be able to brace everything."

As they spoke, Old Master Yun waved his hand, and Yun Bixue lowered her head. She listened to his words as he whispered in her ear and she froze.

Right at this time, a loud rustle came from outside the room. "Who are you? We are here to see our Old Master. Why do we need your permission? Get out, you imbecile."

"We are here to see our grandfather. I am his granddaughter; please let us in."

"Sorry, the doctor has instructed that Old Master Yun needs rest for now. Nobody can be held liable if anything goes wrong."

"Rest? I heard even that lass Yun Bixue had gone in, so why can't we go in too?"

Yun Bixue heard the commotion outside. Recognising that they were her aunt Yang Siru and Yun Mengshi, her expression stiffened.

"Nuan Nuan, remember what I said. Go!" Old Master Yun waved his hand and closed his eyes to return to sleep. It was apparent that he did not want to see his youngest son's family.

When Yun Bixue came out of the room, Yun Mengshi quickly probed, "Elder Sister, I heard that after Grandfather's surgery, you left him here alone. Let me take care of him in future!"

"Mengshi, you are so slow-witted. Can't you see she is here to reap the benefits?" She knew that even if the Yun family were bankrupt, Old Master Yun still had ownership of important matters."

"Shut up!" She shouted as Yun Bixue grabbed a fistful of Yun Mengshi's hair and slammed her against the wall.

"Ouch…" Yun Mengshi shrieked in pain, her entire body ached.

With one hand, Yun Bixue gripped Yun Mengshi's hair, and using the other, she clenched her neck tightly. "I warned you. Stop playing tricks and provoking me. You can only live longer that way. Otherwise, I will let you have a taste of my wrath. Understand?"

Yun Mengshi saw the icy cold glare in Yun Bixue's eyes and nodded forcefully.

Only then did Yun Bixue let go of her grip. Without support, Yun Mengshi collapsed onto the floor, her body was so sore as if it were falling apart.

Yang Siru was still in shock. Was this Yun Bixue? The docile and compliant Yun Bixue?

Yun Bixue glanced coldly at Yang Siru and left.
