401 You Have to Be Obedient

While peeling the grapes, Xie Limo saw Yun Bixue's gentle expression, and his heart stirred. When he followed her line of sight, his heart trembled. There was no way he didn't know about what she was thinking at that moment.

In order for them to have a better future, they could not do it now. He could not tell her himself, so he could only keep quiet and not mention it.

He was glad that his wife was kind and gentle, never doubting him with harsh questions.

Xie Limo tried to shift Yun Bixue's attention by saying in a silky voice, "My dear, just relax at home. When you're fully recovered, I'll bring you to Country E to visit your younger sister. Also, the weather there is more comfortable, and it's not as hot as Ning An City. You'll have a great time there."

A radiant light flashed across Yun Bixue's eyes as she excitedly grabbed Xie Limo's hand. "Really? We'll be going to Country E for a vacation?" She had been staying in Ning An City for a long time. If she was not at home, she was at work, and the days had become a bit boring lately. She was really excited to go somewhere else and have a vacation, especially in her husband's company.

Looking at Yun Bixue's happy expression, Xie Limo knew that she must have been bored out of her mind. "It's my fault. From now on, we'll go out of the country and have a nice vacation every year."

Yun Bixue shook her head. "I know that you have to work very hard every time you come back after traveling with me. I'm worried that you'll get stressed."

"Once we hire new people this year, we'll hand over some of Ning An City's work to them. Our workload will become lighter and more relaxed after that."

Thinking about his recent policy, Yun Bixue said, "You have a lot of supporters now who say that you contributed a lot to Ning An City. As long as they're talented, there's a high chance for the common civilians to enter the political scene and show their full potential."

Xie Limo placed the peeled grape into Yun Bixue's mouth and smiled warmly, "The person who they should thank should be you, my wife. What you said to me before reminded me of it which was why I passed down that policy."

Warmth filled Yun Bixue's heart after hearing those words. He was always like this. He would notice everything she said, even her offhand comments, and this made her feel very pleased and contented.

In addition to that, she was looking forward to going to Country E with Xie Limo and visit her younger sister. On their last phone conversation, Bilu mentioned that she had become Huang Yize's girlfriend. This would give her a chance to witness young love in action, and she, in turn, would feel young as well.

Anticipation rose in Yun Bixue's heart. She was invigorated as she ate two bowls of rice for lunch which was out of her norm. She was even humming a song while watching the news in the afternoon.

That night, Yun Bixue cuddled Xie Limo and said, "Hubby, can go there earlier? Can we?"

Heat rolled off Xie Limo's body in waves as Yun Bixue clung onto him. His gaze darkened as he turned over and pinned Yun Bixue underneath him. "My dear, if you keep torturing me like this, I cannot assure you that I won't do anything." His heart ached for her health, so he only hugged her to sleep. However, his wife continued to tempt him with her beauty, and it was hard for him to maintain his control.

When Yun Bixue heard Xie Limo's words, she naturally understood what he meant. She stopped moving at once.

"You need to rest well. We'll leave in two days. If you don't behave yourself, I'll cancel our plane tickets."

Under Xie Limo's embrace, Yun Bixue murmured, "Okay, I will rest well." She understood that Xie Limo meant every word. Although he pampered and indulged in her, nothing would change his mind when he was seriously set on something.
