Chapter 16

Kendra has just dropped Monica off and now she's on her way back home. She gets home parking the car then gets out, she walks up to the front door unlocking it and walks inside to see Kieran inside the kitchen cooking.

"Wow, you're cooking for me?" She closes and locks the door behind her. "Yeah, I was expecting the food to be done by time you got back but it should be done in 15 minutes." He closes the oven.

"You didn't have to cook for me but thank you" Kendra takes her jacket off hanging it up. "I didn't have to but I wanted to." He walks over to her hugging her and kissing her.

"Was this the surprise you had for me?"

"No, I'll let you know what it is after dinner" He walks back into the kitchen.

"Okay, so let me get ready real quick, i'll be right back." Kendra walks off upstairs and into her room. She changes into A nice black short dress and puts on some black flats then lets her hair down. She walks off to the bathroom washing her hands with Soap then dries them, she then leaves the bathroom walking back downstairs.

"Look at you looking all sexy" Kieran turns to her face with A smirk "the food is done i'm just gonna get the stuff set up."

"I'll do it."

Kendra walks into the kitchen and grabs some plates and forks washing them off then brings them over to him.

"Thank you" He digs into the pot scooping out some chicken and shrimp Alfredo putting some on both of the plates then opens the oven pulling out A pan with some cheesy garlic bread on it putting one on each of their plates.

"I already know this food is gonna be good." Kendra grabs both of the plates carrying them over to the counter setting them down. She then grabs 2 plastic cups washing them out then fills them up with some Soda then sets them down next to both of their plates.

"Good now we can eat." Kendra sits down at the table and he sits next to her. Kendra picks up her fork scooping some Alfredo up eating some "I could get used to your cooking, it's so good" She speaks with her mouth full.

He chuckles "Thank you" He begins eating some too. "So I've been looking for some places to stay, I found this nice house about 30 minutes away from you, it's cheap, it's beautiful and I have A serious question for you."

"What is it?" She continues stuffing her face with the food.

"How do you feel about moving in with me?"

"I mean we're basically living together right now so obviously I won't have no problem moving in with you but why can't you just officially move in here?"

"Because this house is bigger, for the future when we have parties, family gatherings, lots of kids, we -" Kendra cuts him off "Lots of kids? When did I agree to this?" She laughs.

"3 kids max?" He laughs.

"We can talk about that in A few months but for now the answer to your question is yes, i'll move in with you."

"Perfect" He smiles "Now on to the surprise, I'm gonna need you to start packing in A few days because I planned A vacation for us both in Miami, We're gonna be leaving Thursday so you have 4 days to pack."

"Finally i'm going on vacation, thank you, I love you" Kendra leans in kissing him. "I love you too, I know we already spend some alone time with each other but being in Miami with you will be different."

"It's honestly so crazy how my other half was literally in front of me this whole time." Kendra grabs his hand holding it.

"Yeah it is crazy and i'm glad things didn't work out between me and Ava because now I have you."

Kendra smiles "Well let's finish this food before it gets cold, and maybe later on i'll have some dessert for you"

"Oh really?" Kieran smirks "Well let me hurry up with this food." He laughs. Kendra laughs and they both begin eating again.

They both are washing the dishes and putting them away "I'm about to go pack my stuff up right now, I'm obviously gonna be in the pool and shit so I gotta pack some cute swimsuits."

"Well go pack and i'll take care of the dishes"

"Okay" She kisses him before walking off upstairs to her room. She begins picking out some outfits to wear outside and at the pool and beach. While she's packing her stuff up she gets A message from Ava.

Ava : Hey, I know we're not on good terms right now but i'm blocked on every social media by Kieran and I really need to speak to him about something, maybe I could speak to you about it and you let him know? Can you please just meet me tomorrow morning, it's serious.

Kendra thinks about whether or not she should meet up with Ava again, she didn’t want any issues especially since her and Kieran were doing good so far, She finally decides to reply after A while.

Kendra : Honestly Ava I’m tired of your bullshit and the petty ass drama, I don’t wanna meet up with you and then you say or do some stupid shit, So I’ll meet up with you as long as you agree not to start anything with me.

Ava : I promise I won’t start anything, I just need to talk to you about something very serious.

Kendra : Okay so fine, where do you wanna meet?

Ava : Meet me at the park near the bookstore, i’ll be there around 10am.

Kendra : Okay cool.

Kieran walks into the room grabbing around her waist from behind and starts kissing on her neck. “So do you have everything ready?”

“No, i’m stuck on which outfits to bring.”

“Don’t bring anything too raunchy”

“I won’t, don’t worry” Kendra removes his arms and begins picking out some outfits again “Wait, you didn’t even tell me how long we’ll be there?”

“We’re gonna be there for A week”

“Okay cool, So i’m gonna need about 10 outfits just in case” Kendra laughs. “Damn okay, Well let me get to packing too, once you’re done come to my room, I wanna cuddle and watch some TV.”

“Alright” He kisses her before leaving her room but all she could think of was what did Ava want.

Was it gonna be something bad? Was Ava gonna tell her something she didn’t wanna hear? Was Ava gonna tell her something fucked up about Kieran?
