EIGHTEEN
Oh my name? Umm...
Why the hell would he make me do this job?!? I can barely seduce his men! I mean like I practiced a lot, but it doesn't mean that I can do this with the enemy's boss!
I continued to drink my drink as I tried to scoot closer to them. I can barely hear anything since the waves are crashing so loud in the background. So, slowly I started to move to the next seat next to me. He was five seats away, so now I'm four. I looked back at Vincenzo and see him talking to a random girl but he looked over his shoulder to me, and nodded.
"Nice way in blending in." I mumbled. I was almost done with my drink and I started to lick the sugar around the rim and then I finished the drink. I sighed and leaned back on the chair, and then looked over my shoulder to the ocean. The ocean is so beautiful. The bright blue water crashing against the beautiful sand, is so memorizing. I smiled as another ocean breeze blew softly against my face.
I went to turn around but I was met with soft brown eyes. I jumped slightly and held my chest. "Oh god." I whispered. He smiled and then looked at the ocean.
"Beautiful isn't." He said as he continued to drink his dark drink.
"Huh?"
He looked over to me as he drank. He then nodded to the ocean, "beautiful. Right?"
"Oh. Oh yeah." I said as I felt my face turn hot.
I looked back to the bar and look slightly to Vincenzo but he wasn't looking at me. He was still talking to that girl. Ughhh!!!
"So, what brings you to Chile?"
So that's where I am? "Oh, just visiting."
"Alone?" I looked up to him as he raised an eyebrow and set his glass down empty.
"No. Friends are here."
"Oh." His eyebrows shot up as he smiled. He looks the same age as Vincenzo, but I still don't even know how old Vincenzo is. So, err, Ima just guess he's the same age as Vincenzo.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"My name?"
"Yes your name." He laughed.
"My name." I raised an eyebrow.
He sat down next to me and tilt his head as he gave a soft chuckle, "yes, your name love."
"Oh, um, I honestly don't know what's my name. My friends said I just had surgery so they brought me here, and they said it would be some time till I remember my name. So, I don't know what's my name is." What can I say, I love lying to people, and I love it when they fall for it.
"Oh, when did this happen?"
"I don't know, they said I had it done two weeks ago, and they are concern but they said they want to go on vacation first then go check it out."
He looked taken back, "wow, what kind friends." He smirked.
"Yeah, no kidding." I looked back at the empty glass and I heard a whistle. I looked over to him and see him calling over the bar tender. "Another margarita for the lovely lady, and another glass of dark rum."
He nodded and started to get to our drinks. "So, what's your name? And why are you here in Chile?" I said while I turned towards him as I rested my arm on the bar.
"My name is Vlad. And you can say, business of some sort." He smirked.
"Weird name."
He shrugged, "not where I'm from I guess. But sure, weird name, no name." He said as his smirk grew.
"Hey! I didn't say I had no name, I just don't remember it."
"Sounds like what a no name person would say."
"Oh, so you met a no name person before?"
"Yeah, right now."
I heard the glasses be set down on the table and I narrowed my eyes at him. He laughed and took his glass and started to drink.
"You are just plain rude Vlad." I said as I grabbed my cup and started to drink with my eyebrows creased
"I get called worse."
"Oh I bet." I mumbled.
"So, how long are you going to be here?"
"To be honest, I don't even know." I said as I gave a fake chuckle. I looked slightly to Vincenzo and see him laughing slightly as that girl runs her hands over his chest. I rolled my eyes a turned my body towards Vlad.
"You? How long are you staying here?" I took another sip out of the cup as I ran my finger on the sugar and then licking it.
"A month or so. Not sure. That depends if my business goes fast and goes according to plan."
Oh, really now?
"Mhm, what business are you running."
He looked towards me and then smile, "I rather not say doll. You never know who's listening."
"True."
True that Vlad. True. That.
I looked back at the ocean and smiled. My feet were tempting to touch the water. I bit my lip as I stared at the ocean. The breeze blew again and that made me smile even more. "Want to go see it closer?" I looked over to him as he finished his drink and stood up.
"What do you mean?"
"Want to see the ocean better?"
"Oh, no. I'm good. It's just very beautiful." I smiled.
"Come on." He grabbed my hand and I quickly set the drink on the bar. He looked over to his men and nodded. They nodded back as they continued to drink.
His grip was soft and loose. It wasn't tight at all. We walked on the warm sand and I had to take off my sandals because they were picking up to much sand as I walked and he did the same as he rolled up his jeans. I held my dress and shoes in one had, afraid a breeze would do the same like with Vincenzo.
We made it to the breaking point of the waves and slowly the water started to crawl up on the sand. My eyes grew wide and I started to take a step back but Vlad didn't move, so the water hit both of our feet. I jumped slightly when the water touched me and I smiled. I looked at the waves coming and forming and slowly they started to crawl up even more on the sand. I laughed and I quickly let go of his hand and ran up the sand and placed my shoes down where he had his, so the water won't get them.
I ran down till my ankles were resting in the water. I watched how a wave was forming and my eyes grew wide as it became bigger, I turned around and started to run but I heard it crash and I screamed slightly when the water reached the back of my calves.
I heard him laugh and he pointed behind me. I looked back but my eyes grew so wide that I was afraid that they might have popped out. The wave was so big that I didn't even have time to run. The wave hit my back, and I almost fell. I screamed again when I felt water seep through my dress and wetting my back. I ran out till I made it on the sand where the water doesn't reach.
I was breathing hard as I stared at Vlad. He raised an eyebrow and I started to laugh. He laughed with me as he started to walk towards me. I moved my hair out of my face and wiped some sand off my legs.
"Oh god." I chuckled. "I need to change." I laughed when I looked back at the ocean. Because I can just imagine my face.
"Yeah. I think you do." He chuckled. He stood in front of me and smiled down at me.
I smiled and looked back down at my feet. His hand went under my chin and made me stare in his brow eyes. He smiled and I felt my cheeks heat up.
"I think I should go." I whispered.
"I think so too." He said as he leaned in.
"I really do need to go." As I gripped his shirt.
"You should go." He whispered as he got closer.
"Okay."
"Okay." He leaned down even more and....
