Henry drove to Jake's residence in a fit of anger. When did Kathleen become so stupid? He just felt like strangling her just now.

Jake was in his living room watching movies. Henry always wondered what sort of weirdo Jake was. How could a sane grown up man chose cartoon movies as his best type of movie?

Jake was surprised to see Henry at his house. Why was he here?

"Hey man... What brings you to my humble abode? At this time too?" Jake questioned curiously.

Henry sat down on a sofa and hissed. He was currently annoyed with everyone and everything...

Jake stood up to get a bottle of wine. He knew Henry at that moment needed something to cheer him up.

He was back in no time. He filled the two glasses and handed one to Henry.

Henry accepted and gulped it down.

"So, what brings you here?" Jake cleared his throat and asked.

It was odd for Henry to visit him during the day. And here he was, seated in his house in the night?

It was very unusual...

"It's Kathleen..." Henry spoke slowly.

"What about her?" Jake adjusted his position and fixed a stare on his friend...

"She said she saw Quinn today. She's trying to know if I have been seeing Quinn behind her back." Henry leaned back on the sofa and closed his eyes.

"Wow... Is Quinn really in town?" Jake asked smiling.

"She is.. And it's none of my fucking business." Henry replied with some heat.

Jake was confused;what was angry about? Was there something Henry wasn't telling him?

"What is the problem? You don't sound...." Jake frowned.

Henry sighed and explained everything to his friend..

"But..," Jake paused.

"But what?" Henry asked with a slight frown.

"What if the guy is just her friend? You can't just assume without finding out facts first Henry." Jake sipped on his glass of wine.

Henry thought long and hard after Jake's words...

His argument sounded reasonable...

What if he just misunderstood everything?

"But what if my assumptions are correct?" Henry arched his brow.

"Then... I don't know, I don't know what you should do except leave her alone. She has a life to live." Jake stated the obvious.

"Congratulations Jake. You just succeeded in annoying me the more." Henry stood up and headed towards the bedroom.

"Are you gonna sleep in my room?!" Jake shouted after him.

"Where else?!" Henry shouted back.

'This jerk!' Jake thought inwardly. Now he wouldn't be able to sleep well at all...

"Aren't you going to the office today?" Jake smacked Henry roughly on the shoulders..

Henry groaned and placed the pillow on his head...

"Go to work. Leave me alone." Henry whined in a muffled voice.

Jake couldn't be bothered to continue talking. He was after all the CEO of the Corporation. Since he wasn't prepared, it meant there wasn't much work waiting for him at the office.

He strolled leisurely into his bathroom, took a long bath,and came out again.

"I'm off, you can cook if you are hungry." As he made to leave,Henry sat up.

"You don't expect me to cook,do you?" Henry asked rolling his eyes.

"No, but I expect you to starve. Voila.." Jake winked and left the room.

"Idiot." He murmured and stood up tiredly. However he needed to get to the office.

Immediately Henry stepped out of his private elevator, his assistant rushed towards him.

"We have to get to the hotel in twenty minutes time." Raven reported.

"Prepare the car." He turned towards the entrance. He was actually looking forward to meeting with CEO Quinn...

Oddly enough, she had the same name with his ex maid and sex mate. However, it didn't cross his mind that they were the same person.

They got to the hotel in no time and the manager came down to lead them to the VIP room.

"Welcome Sir. This way please, the other guests are already waiting." He bowed with a smile.

Henry nodded and followed him into the room.

The lady in front of him was wearing sunshades.

Odd... Who wears sunshade indoors?

He had the strange feeling that she was familiar... Have they met before?

"Good day. I'm sorry for the...Quinn?" Henry stared at the lady in front of him with widened eyes.

What was she doing here?

Wait... He would be a fool if he couldn't understand what was going on...

The Stone's Corporation's CEO had the same name with his maid and here was his maid, seated right in front of him.

"Are you the CEO?" He asked, in a state of disbelief.

Quinn on her part stared at Henry trying to force back her tears.

'Shut up girl....How can you cry for such a useless man?' She berated herself.

Eight years ago, she half expected Henry to come looking for her. But he didn't... Maybe he even connived with his fiancee to send her away and she just did the work on his behalf. She was after all a maid and held no worth in their eyes...

Now she was no longer the Quinn from the past. She was no longer the Quinn that allowed Henry fuck her at whim. She was a new Quinn; the heiress of a powerful empire...

She could end his life with just a word,but she decided to become CEO of a small part of the family's business.

With a calm demeanor, she met his gaze.

"I don't think we have met each other before, have we?" She asked with a sharp glint in her eyes.

Henry opened his mouth to speak but closed it back. Since she said she didn't know him, then...

He sat professionally in front of her, and they began with the business discussion.... It was soon finalized on both ends....
