Fake husband
A fake marriage.
Henry drove off in anger.
How dare she? Having the guts to kick him on the groin?
'Damn you Quinn!' He cursed inwardly.
What nonsense was she spouting just now? They owed each other nothing?
Was that what she thought?
She owed him her body... Everything about her belonged to him.
In fact what she did today strengthened and fueled his resolve to get her back.
Did she think she could actually leave him?
What a joke...
He however noticed something...
She lived alone; that meant her so called 'husband' wasn't living with her.
Her husband.... He felt angry thinking about it.
He knew what to do... He had to find out who her husband was.
He was sure it wasn't anyone comparable to him.
He only had to threaten him into divorcing Quinn.
"She would come running into my hands soon enough. Just soon..." He muttered to himself as he sped on.
He decided to go to his family's residence instead of going to his own home.
After making the decision, he drove towards his family's residence.

Two guards respectfully bowed when he was about to enter the house.
He nodded indifferently and headed inside. His parents were seated in the living room discussing when he entered inside.
"Look who's here." His mother echoed.
Ever since he told them about his decision to finally marry Quinn, his parents were happy. His father even praised him endlessly.
Henry began feeling bad because his plans were different from theirs.
However...
He couldn't compromise his own happiness for theirs.
He was the one getting married not them after all...
"Mom, Dad." He greeted and plopped himself on the sofa opposite his father
His father nodded at him; he was wondering why his son was here late at night....
"Is anything wrong?" His father asked.
"Yes,is anything the matter?" His mother also turned her gaze towards him.
Henry looked at their expectant gazes. He chuckled inwardly...
"I missed you guys.. I only came to see you guys." He said calmly.
"At night?" His father raised his brows.
"Is anything wrong with that?" Henry retorted.
"No,there is nothing absolutely wrong with that." His mother smiled.
"How is our daughter-in-law?" His father smiled at him.
They had long started referring to Kathleen as their daughter in-law.
"She's fine, how is your health Dad?" Henry changed the topic.
His father had been sick lately, he only recently recovered.
"I'm fine, son." His father chuckled.
"I intend on registering our marriage instead of throwing a flamboyant wedding." Henry suddenly said.
His mother was surprised. She had already organized everything for an extravagant wedding.
What was her son saying?
"Did she agree to it?" His father wasn't against getting married by registration. He himself wasn't into flamboyant weddings.
A simple and extravagant wedding were all weddings...
"I haven't discussed it with her. But I'm sure she wouldn't object." Henry replied calmly.
"Alright then, if that's what you really want,you can go ahead with it." He gave his approval.
Henry smiled and stood up,
"I'll be heading to the bedroom now. Good night." He calmly headed upstairs.

Immediately he entered his room, he switched on the lights, locked his door and jumped on the bed. He was tired...
When he recalled his conversation with his dad just now, he smiled...
Kathleen wouldn't know a thing.
Didn't she want to get married to him? He had to oblige her wishes...
They were going to get their 'marriage' registered.
'Hah, marriage indeed..' He scoffed in disdain.
He brought out his phone from his pocket and dialed an unknown number.
"Make sure e everything is ready. I want no mistakes." He directly hung up without waiting for the other party's response.
He pulled off his coat and lay back on the bed.
His mind wandered back to Quinn...
What was she even doing now?
Sleeping perhaps...
He imagined her beautiful body under him as he thrusted into her.
Her gentle moans and misty eyes...
'Fuck...' He was aroused. His member was rock hard.
He headed into the bathroom to relieve his desires...

Kathleen was super excited... She was getting married soon.
She was officially going to become Henry's wife...
The thought of it made her extremely happy...

Her phone suddenly rang at that moment,

She grabbed her phone from the bedside table and glanced at the caller ID.
A sweet smile blossomed on her face when she saw who it was.
Henry...
"Hello my love..." She placed it on loud speaker as usual and closed her eyes.
"I wanted to tell you something." His calm voice resounded.
Her eyes flew open at his words. What did he want to tell her?
Did he want to cancel the wedding? There was no way that was going to happen...
"I want us to register our marriage tomorrow or the day after." Henry continued.
"What!! Why?!" Kathleen yelled. She was annoyed.
Why would he suggest such a thing?
Didn't he want her to experience the joys of being a bride? Of putting on a wedding dress?
Was he out of his mind?
"Nothing Kathleen. Do you want to or not?" Henry asked in a firm tone that gave no room for refusal.
'Jerk.' She thought inwardly.
Was this how he wanted to treat his future bride?
However, she calmed down and thought about it.
It wasn't as if he was canceling the marriage.
They could register their marriage now and have a proper wedding later.
After all, once their marriage was registered,she was legally his wife.
So, was there any need to kick up a fuss or throw a tantrum?
"I agree... But let's make it the day after tomorrow. I love you." She waited for him to reply but he hung up the call.

But she wasn't bothered...
He could do all he wanted, she was going to officially be his lawfully wedded wife in two days time.
However...
She didn't know that everything was fake...
So fake....
Including a fake marriage...
