The party went on smoothly, and Quinn was careful not to take any alcoholic wine. Her alcoholic tolerance was very low.
She tried to avoid some guests who were coming over to curry favor with her. This was the reason why she wanted to remain low-key.
Whenever someone influential appeared, naturally others would be tempted to gain favor with whosoever it was.
Quinn rolled her eyes in boredom... She was tired, and decided to step outside for some fresh air.
Henry who had been looking for an opportunity to talk to her, followed her out.

( HENRY'S POV )
I followed her quietly, as she headed to a fountain. She sat on a vacant seat and I joined her.
A pleasant and nice scent engulfed my senses. She smelled nice!
Even her dressing today was mesmerizing. Why hadn't I noticed it before?
Quinn was fucking beautiful!
She stared at me. There was no surprised look on her face. It was almost as if she knew I had been following her.
"Spit it out." She said calmly.
"What?" I wasn't sure about what she meant.
"I know you have questions to ask me. Spit them out." Quinn said nonchalantly.
"How long have you been the Stones foster daughter?" I asked.
That was the only question I wanted to ask.
I wanted to know, if all along she had been their foster daughter, while working as my maid.
*After I left California. Don't ask me for details." Quinn drawled.
I chuckled; her response was as good as saying nothing at all...
"Why are you outside?" I asked.
"To get some fresh air. You?" Quinn asked back.
"Following you." I smirked.
We sat silently for a while, looking at the starry night.
It was quite chilly, and even I was beginning to get cold.
I noticed that Quinn was shivering slightly.
I removed my suit, and placed it over her shoulders.
She smiled in appreciation.
"Why don't we go back inside?" I suggested.
"Nah. I'm bored." Quinn replied calmly.
"Bored? A whole CEO is bored of a social gathering, as this?" I was amused by her response.
"Say what you want. I get bored easily."
Silence took over again...
"When can I get to see your daughter?" I asked carefully.
*That's not possible, Mr Henry." Her response was sharp and crisp.
*I have no bad intentions. I just want to see the little girl." I said helplessly.
Why was she reacting in that manner?
*Well, thanks for your kind gesture. But my answer remains the same. If you don't mind, I have to return inside." I watched her leave.
My eyes darkened... She didn't want me to see her daughter?
Funny... I must see her.
I had a feeling that she may be my daughter.
But, it was still a speculation on my part.

I went back inside, and sat at my previous table. My eyes landed on Quinn who was making her way to the bathroom.
I waited for a while, and followed suit.
She was about to close the door to the bathroom, when I held it back.
"What are you doing?" She hissed sharply.
"Nothing out of place. Are you going to let me in, or?" I had a lazy smile on my face.
Quinn reluctantly opened the door.
I cared less about what anyone would say, when the saw me going into the ladies restroom.
Closing the door behind me, I pressed Quinn on the wall.
"Don't start now, Henry." She tried pushing me away, but I held on.
"Finally calling me Henry I see. You look so beautiful today, Quinn." I lowered my head closer to hers.
"Well, thank you. Can you let me go now?" Quinn said impatiently.
"I'm afraid, that's definitely a wish I can't grant you." I smirked playfully.
"Aren't you afraid I would get you arrested?" Quinn raised her head to meet mine.
My eyes focused on her luscious lips. They looked extraordinarily sexy this night.
"If you had the intention to, you would have done so long ago." I didn't feel threatened at all.
"What if I have the intention now?" She struggled again.
"Stay still." I breathed close to her eyes.
I felt her squirm. '
Good.'
I lowered my lips and captured hers fiercely. I sucked on each alternately, and slipped my tongue into her warm mouth.
I kissed her, till I was out of breath. I moved my head back a little, and chuckled when I saw Quinn's blushing cheeks.
"I want to tear off this dress of yours. To me, you are more beautiful without anything on." I whispered close to her ears.
"But unfortunately, we are at a party. I have to keep my desires in check." I straightened and and adjusting my expression, I let the restroom.

Quinn was annoyed with herself. How could she allow him kiss her?
She was the only one allowed to do such things to him. He wasn't allowed to reciprocate.
She headed to the mirror, and looked at her crimson cheeks. She felt hot all over.
That bastard!
However, she calmed herself down a bit.
But then she recalled his words while they were outside earlier. Her facial expression changed.
She couldn't allow the father-daughter duo to meet.
She didn't want to endanger her poor daughter's life.
What if the person that kidnapped her while she was younger, decided to kidnap her daughter too?
No...
She couldn't risk it at all...
She took a deep breath and went out of the restroom, and back to the hall.

Kathleen watched as Quinn sat on her chair.
She was filled with hatred and jealousy.

What right did she have to become the Stones foster daughter?
Wait...
If her speculation was correct, she had probably chose Washington, when.she sent her away from California.
Didn't that mean, she personally pushed her to a higher position?
Realizing that fact, she was filled with regrets...
She would have allowed her stay. She would have tortured her personally..
She would have, she would have..... Hah, there was no end to the things she would have done...
