His daughter
Henry walked out of the hospital in a daze. She was daughter after all. He hastened his footsteps to the car and hopped in a quite excited manner.
So she was his daughter?
He glanced at the DNA results again, and placed it over his chest.
He then caressed the result like it was a piece of gold.
He grinned, and then he thought of something and frowned,
'Why was Quinn trying so hard to hide everything from me?' He thought to himself.
She was his daughter, so why the fuss?
There and then he made up his mind. He was going to 'divorce' Kathleen immediately he got home. And then he was going to visit the Stones..
He was ready to do anything; anything to take back his daughter, and her mother if possible.
He turned on the ignition of his car, and drove towards the direction of his family's mansion.
They needed to talk.

Parker was obviously angered when he saw the photos placed on the table.. Few days ago, he had gotten a call from Kathleen; his daughter in-law.
She had sounded off, and he immediately became alarmed.
He pestered her a little, and then she had poured everything out to him.
She told him her marriage was in jeopardy, and that he should keep an eye on his son.
However, she told him not to let Henry know that she was the one who gave him all the information.
Parker was confused.
So, he hired a photographer who would stalk Henry. The photos in front of him were the end results.
Henry was living with a woman!
That bastard!
He took out his phone to give him a call, when the door opened and he came inside.
"Hello mum, dad." Henry smiled as he greeted them. He was sure that with his current state of mind, he could even greet Quinn's so called husband.
He was happy...
"Where are you coming from?" Parker asked him calmly.
"Why the question, Dad?" Henry was puzzled.
Parker suddenly got up and landed a hot slap on Henry's cheeks.
"Hey, easy... Let's hear his side of the story." Matilda tried calming him down.
"What could he possibly say?" Parker sneered as he saat back on his seat.
Henry held on to his cheeks. Why did his father slap him?
"Sit down son." Matilda said calmly.
Henry nodded and sat on the couch opposite theirs.
"What do you have to say about.... this?" Matilda pointed at the photos displayed on the table.
Henry's heart skipped a beat when he saw the photos. However, he wasn't bothered.
"This? That is why I'm here." Henry smiled.
"Better clarify everything today. Else, don't dream of keeping that woman in your house." Parker narrowed his eyes.
"On the night of our wedding, Kathleen went to a club," Henry began.
His parents frowned. What was wrong with going to a club?
"Although, she asked me to accompany her, I declined because I was busy. However, Kathleen cheated on me that night with another man." Henry said pretending to be angry.
"What? Don't spew shits, Henry. Because you are cheating, doesn't mean our daughter-in-law is..." Parker rebuffed.
"Is that so? Well, listen... I have a daughter, borne to me by my ex maid." Since Quinn was still a maid when everything happened, it wouldn't be wrong to refer to her as his ex maid right?
"What?! A maid?! Are you out of your mind!!!" Parker thundered.
"I'm getting a divorce.... I can no longer marry Kathleen." Henry announced.
Parker sprang up, as if he had been sitting on hot coal all along.
"What did you just say?!! You dare not! You know very well, how much we need their investment." Parker pointed his finger at Henry.
Henry shrugged,
"What if you find out about who my ex maid currently is?" Henry arched his brow.
"It doesn't matter, son. Her status can't be more than Kathleen's.." His mother put in.
"You think so? Then check who Quinn Stones is." With that he dropped a photocopy of the DNA results, and headed out of the mansion.
His parents did not stop him. They sighed as they watched him leave.
"He's resolute this time. I wonder what the hell is wrong with my son. Leaving gold to pick lead?" Parker lamented to himself.
"He might be saying the truth. Let's check who this Quinn is. If her status is greater than Kathleen's, I have no objection, even if Henry decides to marry her." She shook her head.
"That wouldn't happen. I refuse to believe that her status will be more than our daughter-in-law. Get me my laptop." Parker said calmly.
His wife nodded and headed upstairs, to get his laptop from his study.
She soon came back with it, and directly placed it in front of him.
Parker adjusted his position and typed in some words in the search engine,
'Quinnn Stones.'
The results soon came out...
She was the foster daughter of the Stones!!!
Although they had heard the name, 'Quinn Stones.', their mind hadn't gone to the powerful family known by all.
They made no connection at all.
But seeing the results displayed in front of him, he deny anymore.
"Did we just say, Kathleen's status was more than hers?" Parker mumbled.
"Not me, but you. I said it may be possible, but you didn't even agree at all." Matilda chuckled.
"Well, it wasn't my fault, was it? Give your son a call, and tell him to come back here immediately." Parker ordered.
Matilda nodded and brought out her phone to dial Henry's number.
However, even after a few rings, Henry refused to pick.
"He isn't picking up." Matilda waved the phone.
"Well, let him be. He is obviously angry with us." Parker sighed.
"So, are we going to let him get the divorce?" Matilda questioned her husband.
"Of course. Kathleen cheated after all..." He replied.
However... They both knew the main reason why they supported Henry's decision.
It was because if Quinn!
Becoming in-laws with the Stones.... The status would be great!!!
They had always been after material wealth , and social status. If Quinn hadn't been someone influential, they wouldn't have allowed Henry get a divorce, even as Kathleen cheated...
"We have to pester him to get divorced quickly, and marry that beautiful lady." Parker almost jumped in excitement.
"Hey... That would be too obvious. We kicked against his relationship with her just now, remember?" Matilda sighed helplessly.
