Chapter 10

ADRIA'S POV

"I hope you like our room", as soon as these words left his mouth I froze at my place. My blood went cold. The memory of him trying to rape me flashed through my mind.

Of course, he would want my body. Why else would a beast like him hold captive a beautiful girl like me? God! why did you create such a beauty like me?

"Umm Satan what's the time?", I asked still not daring to look at him.

"Don't call me that. And it's ten past seven, why?"

"Oh! So that's the reason. Actually, my doctor said I have night deftness. I can't hear properly after seven", I said with a nervous laugh. I heard him chuckle.

"You really have a nice sense of humor Adria. Now come on. Step inside OUR room", he said again giving more importance to the word 'our'.

"See I told you I can't hear properly after seven. You are saying 'my room' and I am hearing 'our room'", my voice was shaky. My dad always said that my sarcasm is going to put me in trouble one day. Why do I think that 'one day' is 'today'. I stumble forward when he pushed me inside the room. I was been pushed until I was standing in the middle of the room.

"I don't really like people being sarcastic keep that in mind while talking to me. And you heard 'our room' because I said 'our room' cause this is 'our room'", every time he would emphasize those two -what now seems deadly- words.

"Now tell me, do you like it?"

"Nah! I don't like the color black and white", I scrunched my nose. "Feels like you will ask me to play chess with you right now", I laughed a bit after completing my sentence and held my hand out asking him to give me a high five.

But my laugh died and my hand fell back at his place after looking at his dead expression.

"I don't really appreciate when people make fun of me or my taste. Guess you have to learn a lot about my likes and dislikes", he mumbled the last part as if talking to himself. Something flashed in his eyes as he said this evil eyes, something that told me he has plans for me and I am damn sure the plans are not in my favor.

"I don't give two flying fucks about your likes or dislikes. I don't like this room and so I am going out", I said and started towards the door. All I wanted was to get out of the room but like you all predicted, Satan pulled me back.

"Don't you fucking dare talk to me like that. Do you want me to teach you to discipline again, Adria?", he asked and my whole body tensed. "By the way, I like this artwork I carved on your back. I won't mind painting all your body in the same way", his fingers were now tracing the marks on my back. I gulped and shook my head.

"Good, now sit here I have to tell you about something", I was been pushed gently so that now I was sitting on the edge of the bed.

Satan grabbed a bean bag and sat opposite to me. Even now he was in his business attire. The only time I saw him dressed casually was when he.... I don't even want to remember that night.

"So Adria. Do you know why you are here?", he asked and I shook my head. "Well, don't worry I will tell you everything in short", I nodded my head this time. Even I wanted to know the reason why he has kept here? Where is my dad? What did he do to make Satan this angry? And most importantly what has he planned for me?

"Your father was my secretary, he provided some confidential information to our rivals. Let's just say that caused me a great loss", my blood instantly boils at his words. My dad can never do such thing. He even apologizes after stealing my chocolates from the refrigerator. He is the most honest man in the world, he won't ever do such thing.

"My dad would never do anything like that", I growled.

Getting up Satan crossed the distance between us and fisted my hair. "Ahhh..", I cry as he tugged them harshly almost ripping them out.

"Shhh.... Not a word when I am talking. And you better watch your fucking tone while talking to me", I could have nodded my head but his grip was firm not even letting me move it.

He left me and sat back on his seat again.

"So I was saying that I suffered a great loss due to your father so I had to find a way to get my money back. The loss wasn't something that could harm me Adria but still, if I let go your father I will be making a fool of myself. I have made my name in this business world and I have to maintain it", he shifted closer to me, our knees were touching now. His fingers again found their way to my cheeks, creasing them.

"So I came up with a method to redeem it", the huskiness in his voice sent a shiver run down my spine. I knew whatever the method he had come up was not good, at least for me.

"My first plan was to kill Edward and offer you to someone for my profit", I tried to crawl back when he said this, my eyes went wide at his words. He was using the word 'killing', 'offering me' so casually which told me it was his daily business. Austin held my hand and made me sit quietly at my place.

"But after I saw you I changed my decision. You look like someone very dear to me. So now I can't give you to anyone", he smiled and held my hands in his large ones.

"You should thank the fact that you look like her, Adria, otherwise my men would have escorted you to the Normans. Those three brothers use women at the same time, even raping them when they don't ..."

"Stop! Stop please stop. You are sick. How can you say such things", I screamed, my vision blurred due to the tears I was holding back.

"Shh... It won't happen to you. Don't worry Angel. I won't give you away", he said almost in a soothing manner but did nothing to calm me.

"So just let me go. What will you get by keeping me prisoner like this", I just wanted to get out of here. This man was sick and it scared me.

"Just because I am not giving you away doesn't mean I am leaving you, Adria. Your father still is in debt to me and I will keep you as my mistress as a payback", he said casually as if telling me about the weather.

But one thing I have understood about this man is that he never jokes. He does what he says.

"Mistress..", I whispered the word looking at him in pure horror.

"Yes, my mistress", a ghost of smile playing on his face.

"What the hell! What do you think of yourself? How can you make any decision about my life", I yelled and freed my hands from his grip. When my hands were free I slapped him right across his face. H stumbled a bit and I took the opportunity to stand up and ran towards the door. But fuck it was locked.

Satan pulled me back again and tried to hold me. I wiggled in his hold and managed to get free again.

"I am not an object you sick fucker. I will not be your mistress. You are an asshole to think that I will accept what you say", I yelled on top of my lungs. "I refuse to accept that my father did anything wrong and even if he did this is not right. You can't kidnap someone and force them into something"

"I can very well do that. No one, I mean no one crosses Austin Hawk but your father did that mistake and", he grabbed me now looking directly in my eyes "You will pay for it".

"I won't be your mistress. I won't allow you touch me. I will.... Ahhh", I screamed and fell down on my knees due to the force with which his hand landed on my cheek. He just slapped me. It took me few seconds to comprehend the fact.

My hand went over the area which was burning right now. My vision blurred and hot tears started flowing down my cheeks. There was blood oozing from my bottom lip.

Austin squatted in front of me and I crawled back due to fear.

"You are really innocent Adria. You know nothing about this cruel world. But now your fate made you a part of it, I own you. You are my property now. You belong to me now, and trust me baby girl I never let go what is mine".

"I am not your property. You don't own me", my voice came out as a whisper which made him let out a loud laugh.

"First of all baby girl, try not to show me attitude. I am trying hard to be nice to you so don't ruin my mood with your behavior", I moved my head when he bent down to kiss me.

"Just stop it, Adria. Don't fight me, it won't take you anywhere. Just relax and submit yourself to me. Just do as I say and I promise you that your life will be easier", he whispered.

"I am not a fucking puppet you bastard. I won't ever listen to your sick demands", I yell glaring at him. Austin grabbed my jaw again, it hurt as my lip was bleeding due to the slap but I don't hiss or even flinch back this time.

I don't want to give him the satisfaction of seeing me hurt.

"You will get what you deserve, so be a good girl and I will be good with you. Be a bitch and you will be treated like one", he hissed squeezing my jaw.

I kept staring at him, not breaking my gaze. If he thinks that he will break me easily than he is wrong.

"You want it hard way huh?", he asked and was answered when I spat on his face. Austin's eyes were red due to anger. His body shaking, his fingers digging into my jaw.

"You bitch! You want it hard way right? Well, I will be more than happy to see you suffer", he said and slapped me again.

I fell flat on the floor and with my blurry vision, I saw him removing his belt.
