Chapter 8

AUSTIN'S POV:

I watched as she screamed in agony but the rage in me did not let me stop.

The way that bastard's name roll over her tongue, it disgusts me. All I wanted to do was drag him here and kill him in front of her just to remind her who she belongs to.

I dig my nails more into her skin and she screamed on the top of her lungs. Let's just say I know the methods how to cause pain and make someone beg for mercy in front of me.

By now I was able to feel the warm liquid covering my fingers. Blood was dripping on the sheets and soon she passed out. If you think that I am feeling guilty about my actions then you all are wrong. The only feeling I get now is satisfaction.

I am satisfied by punishing her for what she did and somewhere I am happy too.

I walk out of the room leaving her unconscious on the bed. This time I would not let Augustus call the doctor. When I whipped her I wanted her to heal at her own pace, naturally. I wanted her to endure the pain as long as she could because that would teach her a lesson.

But Auggie alway being the softie he is, went against my decision and called the doctor.

I thought that the punishment I gave Angel was enough to break her, cause as much as I knew her she would start shaking even when I shout at her. But now everything in her changed. She seems much stronger. No more the scared, naive girl I used to love.

After having a talk with Augustus that day we went to see Edward and the doctor said he won't be conscious anytime soon. As much as I think about the possibility of Andrea having a twin I don't remember her mentioning about anything like that.

She used to share everything with me but never mentioned about having a twin.

Can it be that the girl in my house is not Andrea, she is someone else.

I can get an answer only when Edward wakes up. It would be the day I will get to know the truth.

"What the fuck did you do now?", as usual, Auggie walks into my room without knocking and barks at me.

"I tried", I said calmly now washing the blood off from my hand. "I tried my best to be good with her. I did as you said. But she is fucking stubborn", I said while wiping my hand with a towel. Augustus was looking at my hands, with a look of disgust on his face. "She still has the nerve to take his name in front of me"

"Austin! you are not thinking straight. Use your fucking brain and for once keep aside that ego of yours. It's possible that what she is saying is true. It's possible that she is innocent. It is possible that she is not Andrea"

"I don't fucking care whether she is Andrea of not. I fucking wan...", I don't complete my own sentence as soon as the words register in my mind.

Even Augustus is staring at me with wide eyes. Can it be?

"Augustus please leave", I say and turn my back to him that he is not able to see me.

"Aussie I.."

"Please, I just need some time", I whisper and turn only when I hear the door being closed.

I have been waiting for Andrea since three years. I have been searching for her like a mad man. But nothing lead to her. I was devasted without her.

I won't say that I didn't get engaged in any physical relationship. Yes, I did. But it was truly and only physical. I never felt anything other than physical attraction towards any other girl. I never felt even the slightest of what I used to feel with Andrea.

The reason why my heart refuses to believe that she can't be my Angel is, I can feel the attraction. I can feel the same how I used to feel before.

But what if she really isn't Andrea? What if she is just some random girl who has nothing to do with Angel?

Can I love her? Can I move on with her? Can I forget Angel?

If she is not her than where is my Andrea? What happened to her? Will I ever be able to meet her?

Fuck!

"Ahh...", I scream at the top of my lungs. I am so fucking frustrated right now. All the thoughts are creating havoc in my mind. My capacity of thinking is as if lost.

I am going mad.

But this matter needs to settle. I have to come to a conclusion. I have to decide.

I walk towards the bar in my room and pour some whiskey for me. I gulp the liquid neat and let it burn my throat.

Only it has the power to stop the mess going on in my mind and heart right now.

After almost half of the bottle is finished I sit on the chair, crossing my legs over the table.

I started thinking about it.

Andrea left me. I know she had an abusive father but still, she decided not to let me help her and suddenly she disappeared. She had my number, she could have called me anytime to ask for help but decided otherwise.

If the girl in my house is not Andrea than I have no clue where Andrea is. I have searched every fucking where I could but got nothing.

Now the questions arise what should I do with Adria. Yes, that's what she said her name is, Adria.

Should I let her go? No. That's the last thing I want.

Not being able to control myself I take the bottle and started drinking directly from it.

A thought crosses my mind and instantly my lips curved into a smirk.

Guess, I should stick to the very first idea that Augustus gave me.

Edward's daughter was the one we initially planned to use as a redemption for the loss that her father caused us. So she will exactly be that now.

If she is Andrea she will get punished for staying away from me, getting involved with other man and refusing to admit that she is my Angel. If she truly is my Angel she will confess it soon.

And if she is not Andrea, well let's just say she will be paying for her father's deed. She will pay his debt.

She will stay here and serve me. Do whatever I want just to please me. She would be my little pet, my puppet.

I know she is stubborn but I have my own methods which never fail to break someone.

It takes only four steps to turn a person into an empty shell. Pain, hunger, humiliation, and emotion are the demons who can make a person think that death would be better than life.

And that is what exactly I am gonna do with Adria Owensby.

ADRIA'S POV:

My back hurts, the pain that was gone due to the medicines had returned. Last night I searched for the ointment or painkillers which were kept in the drawer beside my bed but found nothing. For the first time after being captive here, I slept without taking the heavy dosage of painkillers. Let's just say I did not get much sleep.

My throat was dry and I know that I had to get up to drink water. Other times the maids or Augustus would have helped me but it's already been more than 24 hours and no one came.

Screaming and trying hard to stop the tears falling from my eyes I managed to sit up. The simple task had me sweating profusely, I was panting like a dog.

There is always a jug of water and a glass kept on the table beside my bed. I tried to reach for it but nothing. There was not even a glass of water.

Strange.

I got up from the bed and the scene in front of me made me flinch and scream. There was blood on the white sheets. Big, red stains covering the white material.

After Satan whipped me, I was unconscious for days so I didn't really saw the sight of my own blood but now when I was able to see it my heart squeezed painfully.

How can someone be so cruel? Inflicting pain for his own sadistic pleasure? I wonder if he really ever loved the Andrea girl. Cause I am not sure wheater Satan's have the ability to love or not.

Gulping my own saliva to wet my dry throat I carried my limp body to the door and guess what it was fucking locked.

I mean come on Satan I can barely walk let alone run from here.

"O.. uhh uhh", I tried to say something but could only cough. Clearing my throat I tried again. "Open the door", my voice barely audible to my own ears. "Open the fucking door", I tried to be a bit loud. "Open the door...", I screamed again and waited for some time to get some response but got nothing.

"Just give me some water...", I cried. Tears were now flowing down my eyes, I never thought I would feel so helpless.

After some time I heard some voice and the door knob twisted.

I stepped back and wiped the tears from my cheeks and blinked my eyes to stop them.

The door went open revealing the one and only 'Aussie-Pussy-Satan-Hawk'.

"So you thirsty?", he asked with a smirk on his lips. No matter how handsome he is, his face itself disgusts me.

He walked in, closing the door behind him and stood right in front of me. Towering over me. He was so tall, I didn't even reach up to his shoulder.

"Are you thirsty Adria", I felt some tingling sensation at the way my name rolled over his tongue. It sounded foreign.

"So you finally decided to give up your drama?", I said referring to him calling me Andrea.

"I asked you a fucking question?", his face was now close to mine. I could feel his warm breath on my lips.

My heart was pounding inside, ready to jump out of the ribcage. Satan brought his fingers and lightly traced my cheeks. The memory of his fingers ripping the flesh of my back hit my mind.

My heart was screaming me to move back and run to the farthest corner where he could not see me. But my mind was saying otherwise. It wanted me to stand beside him and show him that I am strong. That his sadistic ways didn't affect me, but that was far from the truth.

I decided to stay on my ground and stood there staring right back into those pitch black orbs.

"Answer before I make you", his voice as cold as ice.

"I want water and I can get it myself if you step out of my way", I don't know where the sudden power came to me. Just a few minutes back I was limping but now I am ready to kill this man.

"That's where you are wrong, beautiful. You think you can do anything without my permission but the sad truth is that from now you won't even be able to breathe if I don't allow", I gulped when he said that.

His right hand was resting on my left shoulder and he was tracing certain patterns on the bare skin. It would be soothing if I wasn't in this condition.

"You don't fucking control me. Now move aside I am thirsty", ignoring me completely he started walking more close to me. His every step in my direction making me take a step back until I hit the wall and screamed in agony as my back touched the cold surface.

"I can very well control you baby girl but if you still want I can prove you"

"You can't.....", my words were cut when his hand reached my throat and his gripped it tight enough to stop the air supply.

I started clawing his hand, digging my nails into his flesh, kicking his legs but it only led to tightening his grip.

My mouth was wide open trying to take in the air but it didn't reach my lungs. As soon as my eyes rolled back he left me and I fell down on the floor with a thud.

My knees hurt by the impact. My hands directly went to my throat rubbing the region. I was gasping for air, trying to take in as much as I can.

When I finally gain my senses I looked up and saw that Satan was staring at me with a smug smile on his face.

"You see Angel I 'can' control your breath", saying that he was gone locking the door behind him.
