CHAPTER 73

The following day, divine wear her school uniform and bid her parent goof bye while mirabel sit with her parent on the dinning table. "Mirabel why did you decide not to go to school today? Dad I burnt my school uniform while I was ironing it". Really? Yes dad.

Mr Thomson know she was lying but decided not to meddle in it since she decided to cover her sister.

"Don't worry about the clothe angel, I will inform your principal about it". You should not skip school because you burnt your school uniform, I will get you another one before you get back. Dress her up love, let her look good. I will drop you once you are done.

"Why is her dad always ruining divine's plan? She know divine has a plan today that why she wanted her to stay at home". Maybe it for her own good. She went back inside her room and wear another outfit, Mr Thomson burst out in laughter when he saw what she was wearing. Exactly what he thought.

"I thought you clearly said you did not like this dress? How come you are wearing it to school? ". It now my favorite dad, she try to smile in pretense. Let go to your room mirabel, dad! I will be late. I will handle it , don't worry princess.

He lead the way to her room while she follow behind him, he bring out the outfit he brought for her on her birthday and ask her to wear it. "It stopped right below her knee, dad! Yes princess ". This clothe is too short for me, you never complained when I brought it for you. "That because am wearing it at home, I want you to wear it to school".

Wait mirabel, let me dress your hair. "There is no need mum, come on let her dress your hair so we can go on time". Her mother packed her hair in a stylish way apart from how she normally packs her hair.

On getting to the school, her father explained everything that happened to the principal and the principal agreed to let her stay until she get another school uniform.

"Divine was surprised to see mirabel walked into the classroom with the clothe they both wear for their birthday ". Majority stare at mirabel including her friend, the only vacant seat is beside Charles. She gently sit beside him while he in turn stare at her. "YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL ". He said more like a whisper, she turn and smile at him. "Did she just smiled at him? He keep smiling till the teacher left the class".

"Divine and her friends angrily walked out of the class, what happened to your school uniform? ". He asked to continue the conversation. It got burnt when I was trying to iron it.

"Oh, you look so beautiful in your outfit". Thanks. Wait! What is your favorite color? Blue. I also love blue, she chatted freely with Charles. She is tired of trying to please divine all the time, she decided to also have friends. "Can I have your digit? I will give you some other time ". She replied politely, it okay. Talking to you alone makes me happy, she blush.

She blush, I like you mirabel. He said before he could even hold himself back. "She just stare at him without saying anything, her class mate keep talking about mirabel throughout the day ". Mr Thomson hugged his daughter immediately she returned back. "Mirabel! Yes dad". Guess what? What is it dad? She asked excited to know what her father wants to tell her.

Your second dad will like to see you soon, really? She asks with tears in her eyes. "She still remember her former parent, she also wish to see her second mum too"divine angrily push her away from the way and walked inside her room.

Mirabel stare at divine as she walked away, why did divine hate her this much?. "She wonder what she did wrong to her, her father noticed her reaction and quickly draw her closer to himself ". "They want you to come and spend the holiday with them, maybe you should take your sister along with you". That will be great dad.

"Ask her if she will like to go before I inform your dad about it, okay I will dad". She rush upstairs in happiness to go and share the goodness with divine.

"Divine! Will you like to follow me to my dad's place this holiday? To do what". Just to spend some time with them, am not as draft as you are. Am not going anywhere, am sorry mirabel walked out of her room.

She informed her dad that divine said she is not going, Mr Thomson informed her dad (Johnson) that mirabel is coming over soon.

The following day, divine asked mirabel to go to school alone that she is not going. "Are you okay? Mirabel asked concerned about her". I did not remember telling you that am not okay, am sorry. She walked out of her room and went to school, school was fun without divine except her friends who keep looking at her with contempt. Charles was happy she is now free with him, not the former gentle girl he know. She is now jovial and friendly.

The following day, mirabel was surprised to see divine with black hair, she even packed it the normal way she use to pack her own. She smiled at mirabel and walked inside her room. Mirabel was stunned. Divine even lied to her mother that she is mirabel and her mother did not suspect anything. Except her father who recognized mirabel no matter the difference.

His mirabel is always quite, not like his daughter that is always stubborn and lousy. Her attitude shows who is who.

The following day, there was no different between mirabel and divine in their school uniform. When they get to school mirabel was surprised how divine friends surrounded her and treat her as if she is their friend while divine went to sit beside Charles.

"They chatted happily together, mirabel did not need anyone to tell her it was all divine's plan". She decided to give her what she wanted, she pretended to be divine while divine takes her place.
