Chapter 146 - Even Experts Fear Death

Qin Nanfeng’s living quarters were easy to find. Ling Chuxi silently approached, but just as she closed in, she was noticed.

Qin Nanfeng’s somewhat deep voice sounded from inside the house, “Who is trying to visit me so late at night? How exciting. Since you are here, why don’t you show yourself?”

“You are someone from the Ling family!” he shouted as he raised his sword to block her attack.

“Take a guess.”

With a smile as beatiful as flowers on her face, Ling Chuxi pushed away Qing Nanfeng’s sword in a relaxed manner, before quickly redirecting the tip of her sword towards his throat.

“How gutsy! You may have come here of your own free will, but it won’t be so easy to leave!”

Qin Nanfeng was sure that this person was from the Ling family, and was obviously here to exact revenge on behalf of the Ling family’s second elder. Seeing the lazy attitude of the young maiden before him, his anger rose as he felt that she was scorning him.
