Chapter 290 - Got the Wrong Person!

Ling Chuxi ate her tofu pudding and watched the handsome man and the big sister interacting with each other and secretly sighed. This handsome man’s taste was really unique.

“This tofu pudding is really good. Do you want a bowl, mister? I’ll give you a treat,” asked the big sister with a wide smile. She had never experienced having such a handsome man trying to pick her up before and therefore felt extremely happy at present.

“How can that be? It should be l who treats you,” replied the cologne-smelling man with an extremely expressive smile.

The big sister laughed till the spoon in her hand shook. Eventually, the table began shaking with the vibrato of her laugh as well which resulted in tofu pudding spilling out of their bowls onto the table, forming sticky clumps on its surface. When the man with the cologne-smelling man saw this, a flash of disgust crossed his eyes.

Ling Chuxi observed this scenario playing out before her with great interest. What song was this cologne-smelling man trying to sing? Enduring the disgust he felt to seduce this big sister, what exactly was he trying to gain?

“Mister, your hands are so beautiful,” said the big sister as she touched the hands of the cologne-smelling man. There was a lecherous smile on her face.

“Are they? Well, I think your hands are the ones that are… are good-looking,” replied the cologne-smelling man as he looked at the big sister’s trotter-like hands, hesitating for a long time before he forcefully squeezed out a compliment.

“Really? This is the first time someone has praised me like this,” exclaimed the big sister with a bright smile as her whole body shook. Then her grip around the cologne-smelling man’s hand tightened.

“That’s because other people don’t have good eyesight, they don’t know how to appreciate your uniqueness,” answered the cologne-smelling man with a handsome smile. The big sister became so shy even as her advances towards the cologne-smelling man became more daring. She began to stroke the back of the cologne-smelling man’s hand.

Ling Chuxi opened her mouth wide, looking at the man and woman in front of her as she almost spat out the tofu pudding in her mouth. When did this world become so liberal? Someone could so quickly pick up a girl and start getting so touchy-feely with her so soon out here in public?

The cologne-smelling man glared at Ling Chuxi with a look in his eyes that clearly said, “Go away, don’t bother us here.” There was a cold sweat forming on Ling Chuxi’s forehead, she couldn’t bear to watch anymore. These two people were behaving in too much of an exhibitionist manner.

“Oh, coming, coming,” called out Ling Chuxi as she dug out a brocade handkerchief and wiped her mouth. She quickly stood up, paid the boss and then ran towards Lan Xinyu as if she was trying to escape something. Then she hurriedly left with Lan Xinyu.

After Ling Chuxi’s name was called out, the cologne-smelling man sitting at the table was completely stupefied when he saw the girl sitting in front of him responding to the name. He looked at Ling Chuxi’s retreating back stupidly, and then mechanically turned his head to look at the big sister who was still stroking his hand, and finally asked with much difficulty, “You, you aren’t Ling Chuxi?”

“Why should I be Ling Chuxi?” asked the big sister dubiously with a frown.

The cologne-smelling man’s jaw dropped with an audible crack and he instantly withdrew his hand from the big sister’s grasp and then swung it away from himself in disgust as if he had swallowed a fly. This woman was not Ling Chuxi! Not Ling Chuxi! Instead, that beautiful young maiden was actually Ling Chuxi!

“Hey mister, what’s wrong with you?” asked the big sister shyly as she reached out her hand to touch the cologne-smelling man’s hand once more.

The cologne-smelling man couldn’t take it anymore as he stood up to dry heave and was about to bolt. But how could the big sister let such a beautiful man who expressed interest in her run away just like that? She very quickly grabbed him.

“Let me go!” cried the cologne-smelling man as he swung his arms this way and that, feeling incredibly annoyed on the inside. He never thought that he actually got the wrong person!
