Ling Chuxi felt relieved seeing that Ling Yichen was fine. She had left Little White outside earlier, so she was not too worried about it getting injured.

“What happened just now?” Ling Chuxi looked at Luo Chen Sword in her hand. Luo Chen Sword seemed to have gained a new murderous intent that it did not have before. She ran her fingers along the sword and could clearly feel its spirit – there had obviously been some fundamental changes in the sword.

“This is not an ordinary sword, it is a spirit sword. However, as to what sword it is, I am unable to tell.” Huangfu Qingjue looked at the sword in Ling Chuxi’s hand and frowned.

Ling Chuxi put Luo Chen Sword away properly then turned to look at Ling Yichen’s wounds. She confirmed that he wasn’t seriously injured and turned around to speak to Huangfu Qingjue, but the place was empty. Where was Huangfu Qingjue?

“Where did he go?” Ling Chuxi mumbled in surprise, looking around.

Huangfu Qingjue was nowhere to be found; instead, there was Little White who was elegantly padding towards her.

“Little White, why did you come inside? Didn’t I tell you to wait for me outside? It is very dangerous here.” Ling Chuxi immediately went to pick Little White up, hugging it tightly. Little White raised its head to touch Ling Chuxi’s face, seemingly indicating to her that it was fine.

“Ughhh…” Ling Yichen was slowly waking up. When he saw Ling Chuxi, he sat up quickly and asked worriedly, “Chuxi, are you alright? What happened?”

“I’m fine.” Ling Chuxi shook her head lightly and then told Ling Yichen about Luo Chen Sword. Ling Yichen’s eyes widened after hearing the story.

“Spirit Sword!?” Ling Yichen looked at Luo Chen Sword which was hanging by Ling Chuxi’s waist in shock. He could not believe that this inconspicuous sword was actually a divine weapon with a sword spirit, but it was the truth!

“Nobody else can know about this,” Ling Yichen said firmly, imagining the problems if the truth about this sword was revealed.

“Alright.” Ling Chuxi nodded. “Yichen, how are you feeling now?”

“I’m fine now. Let’s get out first.” Ling Yichen glanced at his own broken sword and laughed bitterly. He had to find a new weapon again.
