Epilogue
"Why are you peeing here, my wife. Just say it that you need to go to the comfort room, and I will surely accompany you," I said so I received a punch from her.
"Stupid. My water bag just broke. Look Fred." I looked at her badly and cheaply.
Huh? Water bag? Oh wait. Shit! Damn it!
"Wait, wait. Hey young man, please get the bag, we prepared for your mother's labor. (He nodded and quickly took the bag to our room.)"
I carried Leysa in the car and the children got on.
"Call your grandparents, Freda." I command my daughter.
I looked at Leysa. This is not the reaction I expect her to have once she due. Because maybe in the movies... they are over-reacting it, so I prepared myself for the worst scenario like she would scratch me, she would tweak my hair, because of the extreme pain she was feeling. But she was just calm, she just closed her eyes and inhaled deeply.
She open up her eyes and looked at me. She smiled. So I couldn't help but ask. I hold her hands that was holding her tummy.
"Why are you so calm, my wife?" She just laughed. So I was the one who frowned at her reaction.
"Why shouldn't I? I was able to give birth to the twins alone. How much more now that I am with you, and the kids. That's why I am just calm. It hurts, yes. Especially when contracting. But then, I can handle it while thinking that Frederiko Leo Wilford will come out now and see his beautiful mother.” See, she still gets to joke. I just pinched her nose. What a brave woman I have.
"Sorry. I was not there with you when you gave birth to our twins," I said. I was so sorry and remorseful then that I missed the most important event in our lives. But instead she scolded me and criticized me, she just smiled and squeezed my hand holding her hand.
"You don't have to. It's already in the past. That part of our lives where it became a reason for us to be more stable and appreciate the simple and even small things in the world, be contented and happy with who and what is here. And you and them (she looked at the twins in the backseat that the two just smiled. And caressed her tummy) you are just enough for me. (She squeezed my hand too tightly. Shit! My bones will break here.) So please hurry up, Frederik. The water will dry me up." I nodded, and pulled my hand into her grip but damn. She doesn't want to let it go, and this is what I'm saying awhile ago.
"Aww. My wife, it hurts," I said and stopped the car in front of the emergency. The stretcher was ready there, and our Mom and Dad and Grandpa Rafael and Leonardo were also waiting, when we found out that they were the ones who caused Diana's scandal. And Leysa and I are right, they are manipulating it all, that's why it just depends on Leysa and me whether it will be a happy ending or not. And of course we choose the best result that it could ever be for both of us.

"Papa, it looks like Leyley ..." Freda said while looking and holding the small and soft hand of Frederiko Leo, my youngest. Leysa has given birth and we are all here in her hospital room, Mommy Rizza and Ysabela, Daddy Ferdinand and John, Grandpa Rafael and Leonardo, Edward and Hana are also here with their two-year-old daughter, Ma. Hanibella who is busy playing with her dolls. I noticed earlier that Leyson was looking at her while sitting next to his mother on the bed. Hmm. I tapped him in his shoulder.
"Hey, young man! (He looked at me for a moment and looked back at Hani.) You like Hani?" I asked him and he frowned.
"No, Pa. You are imagining things again." He replied and I just smiled.
"Then why can't you take your eyes off her?" I'm talking to him, but he's still busy looking at the girl.
"Nothing. It's just that, how her hair color became like that, like the hair of the Barbie doll," he asked curiously. I laughed.
"Naturally, your Aunt Hana is blonde and she inherited it." He frowned, and suddenly looked away from Hani because the girl looked at him and smiled. And it looks so cute because she had a loose teeth, so I also can't help but smile.
"Because she looks like a moving doll, Pa. Creepy. Especially she had a loose teeth." Out of nowhere Leyson commented. We laughed, because baby Hani suddenly cried when she heard what Leyson just said. So I tapped my son.
"Oh My, you make Hani cry, Leyley! You bad guy." Freda added that she suddenly fell silent when suddenly someone entered the hospital room. And that's why, its Daniel with his son Daniel too, or let me call Neil so as not to be confused. The boy grinned when he saw Freda turn her back on him and just play with her baby brother Riko.
"Kiss her, Derik." He looked up at Leyson and at the same time ordered him to kiss the crying baby Hani, which my son also smirked at the thought of it. I am seeing this for real? They are like our next generation selves.
Especially when Arthuro also arrived with his son Anthony, who immediately approached Leyson and Neil as if they were having a serious conversation. After a while, the door of the room where we were suddenly opened again and David and Monica, along with their two children Dominic and Dominica, entered. I saw my daughter Freda approach Dominica, because they are at the same age. She reached for the candy bar but David's daughter did not accept it and sat quietly on the sofa there. So Freda quietly get back to her seat next to her baby brother. We just ignored it especially that David's daughter had a traumatic experience when she was 5 years old. So as much as possible I also make Freda understand Dominica's situation why she avoids the people around her. The only funny thing about my daughter is that she still doesn't stop being in love with David's daughter, so hopefully someday they will become good friends --who knows.
Leysa woke up.
"So noisy," she said a little, so I approached her and led her to sit properly. I kissed her, just smacked that created a noise in the room because of the sweetness we have, so Leysa and I just smiled.
I have nothing more to ask for. I am happy because we are all contented with our lives. Happy family... they say when it seems to be happy, it means its already the end. But one thing is for sure...
"This is not yet the end. This is just the start of the next chapter of our lives..."
