Chapter 3

Ashton

"I want to go home," I whispered in a faint-voice but I knew the man next to me heard every word I said.

"Well, this is your home now." The boss responded and placed his hand on my shoulder, out of shock I quickly pushed his arm causing him to back away and remove the hand that he rested on my shoulder.

"You're draining my patience, babe. I've been nothing but good to you, don't wait for me to be fed up with all your drama and you may not reach where we ate going." He threatened and gripped my arm tightly.

"What? Let me go. Just let me go please, I want to go home." I complained and got almost hysterical in front of him, I tried to remove his hand that was tightly clinging to my arm but he was too strong so I just punched his face instead causing him to let go of me, he was holding the area of his face where my hands just landed awhile ago. My eyes widen upon realizing what I just did.

I gulped seeing him wincing at the impact of my slap. I don't know what got into me and I dare to punch this dangerous man. When he recovered from the punch, he looks at me with raging anger, my heart stops beating when I saw his lower lip bleeding.

"You want to go home?" He said loudly and quickly approached me, my foot instantly backed away with trepidation until I could feel the cold railings behind me. Fuck! There's no way I can escape this man anymore.

He was giving me a sinister smile that didn't help from the anxiety I've been feeling for a while now. He violently grabbed my hand the moment he reached me, I wince when pain oozes through my arm.

"Ouch! Let me go, you bastard! You're hurting me." I complained and was about to punch him again despite the extreme nervousness I was feeling, but he quickly grabbed my other hand preventing my punch.

"You're testing my patience. I've never been this kind to my previous pet." He said emphatically making me gulped in nervous.

"Just send me back home, I know Zie can give you your money back," I replied and stared at him.

"You're stupid and naive, do you think he will return the money to me? He needs the money and as for you, you are replaceable. He can replace you with any man he wants. Because if your worth is more than the money I give him? Then you shouldn't be here in the first place." He said and grinned softly at me, I felt a slight pang in my chest, I stood there for seconds frozen. It was as if I was slapped with every word that came out of his mouth.

"Did you get it now? You're mine, I'm your new master." He said and can't even contain the smirk on his lips when he saw my dismal face.

I shook my head incessantly.

"N-No! Send me back home, let me talk to Zie." I begged, even if there is likely one percent chance that Zie will take me, I'll still take that chance.

"Okay," the boss replied making me jump in surprise, I look at him intently trying to read his mind, I don't know if he's only playing with my emotion or if he meant what he said.

"Y-You'll send me back?" I asked him in disbelief, hope slowly filled my heart.

The man smiled sweetly before he nodded.

"Yeah! I suggest you start swimming now." He replied making me frown in confusion before my brain could process what he meant, the boss pushed my chest with so much force making me shout in surprise.

"Fuck!" I cuss frightened, my eyes widened in nervousness as I looked for something to hold on but to my dismay, it was too late for me to get a hold of the railings, half of my body was already falling. My heart stopped beating when my body sank into the cold water.

Fuck! I didn't know what to do, I was panicking and I'm not thinking straight anymore. I tried to swim towards the yacht but I only end up drowning, I couldn't count how many glasses of seawater I've accidentally drunk.

"H-Help!" I shouted at the man who pushed me, I tried to swim even though I didn't know how, every time my body sank I tried to get up. I was frightened especially when I saw that the yacht was a bit far from me.

"Go on, babe. Swim back to your home." The boss shouted, that was the last thing I heard before my body sank into the water again, I don't have the strength to get up and breathe anymore.

Maybe this is the end. I slowly accepted my fate, I closed my eyes. I didn't know what happened next, the moment I accepted my fate was the moment I felt as if someone had pulled me from the water. My body was so tired that even though I wanted to open my eyes I don't have the strength to do it, my eyelids were too heavy.

"Next time, I suggest you stop pissing me off because next time I will let you drown here in the ocean." The boss said, I knew it was him, I can still remember his voice like it was my favorite music.

Gradually my breathing returned to normal.

Moments later I felt the man's hand lift my body. I tried again to open my eyes but to no avail, my eyelids are still heavy.

"I invest too much money on you babe. It would be such a bad investment if I let you die here, just follow everything I say if you don't want to die young. I swear you'll regret it if you ever disobey me again, Ashton." The boss threatened me, I no longer have the strength to answer it. I didn't wonder how did he know my name, he bought me after all.

Despite all that has happened today, I still believe that Zie didn't mean to sell me to this man. We were so drunk at that time, that's why I badly want to see him, I want to hear him say that this is all just a mistake and he's already fixing this, that he's taking me back.

Zie will show up here one day and save me. I know he'll take me away from here, it's just a matter of time.

I do not know where he took me, I just felt that he laid me on the soft mattress.

"Sleep tight, babe. When you wake up, your punishment is waiting for you. Be strong and you may lose your energy again later." The boss whispered into my ear before I lost my consciousness.
