"I can't believe we're camping when someone can track us down here and we won't know it, the moment we realized that they're here, they already got us in their hands," I complained to Mason and Lautner as we walked towards wherever place Lautner thought of camping.

"Oh please, stop the paranoia," Lautner replied and continued walking, I looked at Mason to ask for his support, that camping in the middle of the forest was not a good idea but he just fucking shrugged his shoulder to me. I can't help but rolled my eyes at him out of frustration.

"Hey, calm down, Ashton. They won't track us down here, not for two to three days anyway but I assure you, nothing will happen to you, to us, tonight." Mason said and smiled slightly as if reassuring me that he has control of everything and that I should believe what he just said, but even how much he convince me that everything will be okay, I still couldn't help but be nervous and be alert on my surrounding.

"We're here, let's set-up the tent. If you look closely to that area, that's where the pond is." Lautner said and I raised my brows at him when he was mainly looking at me talking about the pond. I immediately followed where his hand was pointing and nodded when I saw the pond he was saying, the pond is not that big and I just hope that it's not too deep just in case they invite me to take a bath there. Mason immediately took down his large backpack and pulled out the tent from the bag, Lautner helped him set up our tent while I laid a thick cloth on the ground and placed the baskets above the fabric.

"We're done. Ugh, I miss this feeling, I miss camping with my friends." Mason also seemed to notice the sadness in his eyes, he walked towards where Lautner and slide his arm around Lautner's shoulder.

"Don't worry, bro. After this, I and Jackson will often visit you here and we'll gonna camp every day." Mason said with a smile full of hope, causing Lautner to smile as well.

"Yeah?" Lautner asking for assurance.

"Hmm." Mason's hum in response. I did not bother them anymore and just continued to grab the food from the basket and placed it on the fabric I laid on the ground. I suddenly stopped what I was doing when I heard a crackle, it was like the crackle I heard earlier outside the safe house.

"Um, guys? Did you hear it?" I asked Mason and Lautner, they stopped talking and observed around.

"I will not let anyone harm you, Ashton. Tonight, let's forget everything and act as if we were normal kids, camping and having fun." Mason said and smiled at me as if he was saying that everything would be okay as long as he was still by my side. I nodded and smiled slightly, somehow reducing the nervousness and apprehension I felt when I heard those words from Mason.

"Yeah! Let's act like we're stupid students who don't care about our grades and all we do is party and sex." I replied and I suddenly stopped when I realized the last word I said, I felt the burning sensation on my cheek while Mason laughed at my reaction.

"Yeah! I got this covered." I replied and smiled slightly, Lautner just nodded and suddenly left Mason from making a bonfire, he walked towards me so I immediately raised an eyebrow at him.
