Let him take me in wolf form. I don't care if he took my virginity now.
He jumped on top of me, grabbed my neck with his mouth to bite down, and pushed me further down.
The slight pain he caused caused me to come around. What am I doing here? It wasn't me anymore.
Before he could enter me, I made a jerky movement, leaving him confused for a moment. I took advantage of this moment and freed myself from him.
Leaving the confused Devin behind, I continued towards our 'pack house'.
Now all I had to do was lock myself up somewhere. My hope was my room. But when I got to the door, I heard a loud groan.
Wasn't Mara serious now? Why in our room? Ahhhh. I could freak out.
I quickly thought about where I could go instead. However, Devin's voice was then heard calling for me. My heart started beating faster. 'Where can I hide' was my only thought
"Silva?" he asked calmly, sounding like a sick psychopath. "Come here! You want it too." he called on.
Shit, it sounded like he just walked through the door.
Where can I go?
Then I saw the end of the corridor. The dungeons. Maybe not very comfortable, but it was my only chance.
I could definitely lock myself in a cell there. The cells are absolutely escape-proof and therefore also burglar-proof. That should be good enough for today, even though I hated being locked up. But as long as I can decide when the door opens again, everything was fine.
I haven't been to the dungeon in years. I just hope it's the way I remember it.
I quickly transformed into my human form to pull the handle of the dungeon door. Shortly thereafter I ran down the cold stone steps.
Perfect.
Several cells were spread out along a corridor on both sides, left and right. It looked like dungeons have always been imagined. Bars, low vaulted ceilings, and everything else was built of cold fieldstone.
"Let me out," came a voice to my left, which startled me immediately. I didn't know there were prisoners down here. My brother had never told me about it.
"Silva? Where are you?" I heard Devin's voice again, which now sounded cold and stern.
I couldn't let the prisoners keep me from my actual mission. I would talk to my brother about that tomorrow. So I looked around and heard a bunch of old keys hanging on the wall next to the basement stairs. I then took this and made my way to find an empty cell.
It was smelly everywhere and arms were reaching out to me from the right and left.
A slammed door drew my attention back to the dungeon door. Among all those werewolves down here, I now also smelled Devin's smell.
He was here. But shit like that too.
Then I saw a cell that at first glance looked empty. Bingo.
I grabbed one of the keys and put it in the lock. Surprisingly, he fit right away. I turned it and the cell door was open and I disappeared behind the bars.
Heart pounding fast, I closed the door again and made my way to a dark corner of the cell, where I held my breath.
"SILVA??? What's the shit?" I heard the red-haired man's voice again, but shortly thereafter his footsteps moved away and the dungeon door slammed shut.
I exhaled in relief. Finally he was gone. He certainly wouldn't be looking for me here.
As I took a few more breaths, I suddenly noticed a totally gorgeous male smell, which I was completely hooked on again, so that I wanted to present myself again and let myself be mounted. Seriously, I've never smelled anything so great in my entire life.
"Mate," then said a hoarse voice. But since it wasn't mine, but came from directly behind me, I jumped.
Then when I turned to the corner and the person belonging to the voice stepped out of the corner into the light, I recognized a battered-looking man. He had longer brown hair, which fell just over his shoulder and was totally tousled. His full beard was also unkempt, all of which were just signs of how long he had been imprisoned here.
But one thing in particular fascinated me about him. And those were his ice blue eyes. As bright as that of a husky.
Only then did I understand what he was saying.
mate He had said Mate. He was my mate.
Frightened to have found my mate down here, I wanted to leave the cell again. But he stopped me and took my naked body and pressed it tightly to his, which was also naked.
I immediately returned the hug, closed my eyes and enjoyed the feeling of skin on skin. Wherever we touched, my skin tingled immediately. It was an indescribably good feeling. I could stay in this familiar hug for years to come.
After what felt like an eternity, we broke apart, so that we now stood close to each other and looked deeply into each other's eyes.
"Hi," he ground out almost breathlessly.
I didn't know what to say to that, so I just smiled at him. He was my mate. He stood before me naked as God created him. But I found him...
"Hi," I managed to get out.
Incidentally, I kept looking at his body. He had well defined muscles, like any werewolf by nature. However, he looked a bit emaciated. On his chest was a small scar in the shape of a circle, presumably a gunshot wound, and running across his neck was a fairly well defined scar in the shape of a bite mark.
I ran my right hand over the ridges of the scar, wondering who did this to him. When I touched his skin again, sparks hissed through my hand, but the man in front of me twitched a little. What has he already experienced?
"What's your name?" was my question now, after all I wanted to hear my mate's name.
"Steven and you're Silva?" Steven. The name reminded me of something.
"Yes," I answered his question. From Devin's yelling, everyone in those cells probably knew my name by now anyway.
"That's a really beautiful name, for a really beautiful woman." His eyes traveled over my body as he said this, lingering on my breasts for a little too long.
I almost forgot that I was naked, but with his looks he drew my attention to it again. While there is nothing special about walking around naked as a werewolf, today is the full moon and the lustful looks of all male beings in the cells was on me, except for a few single ones. Do you have a mate that you miss?
"Don't you have anything to wear?" I asked the man who was still watching me. But he only gave a throaty laugh before his eyes turned sad.
"No. I was attacked when I was in wolf form and after that, as I'm sure you know, you're naked. That's how I was dragged here. I don't even know why I'm still alive." As he said this, his one hand went to mine, which was still resting on his chest, and grabbed his over her. He ran our hands up to his deep scar, over which he then stroked.
"Who was that?"
"Someone from the ones who locked me in here, I suppose."
"I don't understand," I began. "My brother would have told me," I then whispered to myself.
As soon as I said that, Steven's gaze shot to mine.
"You're one of them?" he asked incredulously. "You're an outcast? That can't be true." Tensely he brushed back his long mane and turned away from me.
He then moved his head to the cot lying on the edge of the cell. He walked towards it and picked up a thin blanket that looked more like a torn piece of cloth. Then he came back to me and put it around my body.
"I don't want the others to keep staring at you so greedily." He justified himself before growling loudly to warn the others.
"She's one of them," growled a wolf from another cell.
"It's best if you kill them and get us out of the cells. Together we have a chance to escape," shouted another.
Intimidated, I took a few steps away from Steven.
"Don't worry, I won't hurt you. But maybe you should go back." Steven said soothingly to me.
But why go again? He's my mate. Why does he want to get rid of me again?
"I'm sorry, but I'll have to annoy you until sunrise," I explained to myself. That way I could at least use the time to get to know my mate.
"Then let's talk." Steven sat cross-legged in front of me. I did the same, trying not to look at his 'thing' too often.
"I don't want to be biased, but may I ask why you were expelled?" was his first question. Well, I could easily answer that for him.
,,I was born here. I've never known any other life." I admitted truthfully, which made Steven breathe a sigh of relief. "Now it's my turn. How old are you?" This might seem like a boring question, but my mate's beard made him look like he was in his 30s and I didn't want to believe that.
"I don't know. Can you tell me how many years I've been here?"
"Sorry, I don't know how long you've been here," I said dejectedly.
"It's okay...", he too was a bit depressed. Since it was just quiet for a moment, I took the chance and turned to the other cells. The prisoners that I noticed were lying on their bunks and hearing us apparently while talking to.
"By the way, you have beautiful eyes." He broke the silence again.
Oh yeah. My eyes were really something special. They were light gray, almost silver in appearance, while green decorated the rim around the pupil.
"Thanks," I said shyly.
I couldn't imagine this feeling any better than how my mate looked at me with his ice blue eyes as if I were an artistic masterpiece. Between us there was again this silence, although there were thousands of unanswered questions, but we still had the whole night to riddle each other with questions. And who knows? Maybe the rest of our lives too.
"SILVA?!", Devin's loud voice suddenly ran through me. I jumped in shock and Steven jumped up and backed towards the wall. Maybe we don't have all night after all...
Devin entered the cell through the unlocked cell door and grabbed my upper arm tightly.
"What are you doing down here?" His voice resembled that of a demon, which scared me quite a bit. Steven seemed to notice this and growled loudly, but Devin was clearly unimpressed, but growled back.
He grinned victorious when Steven backed away again and dragged me out of the dungeon. Before that, however, he locked Steven's cell again.
More than disappointed that Steven wasn't protecting me, I tried to free myself from Devin's grip. But he didn't give up and continued walking down the hall with me until we got to his room.
He pushed me onto his bed and went to lock his door.
"Someone should show you who your boss is," he said as he turned to me and licked his lips perversely.
