Chapter 23

I feel happy while driving to the company, I will talk to my secretary to cancel all my meetings today and the other day first.  I want to prepare for Camilla’s return to our house and I know Mom and Dad will be happy.

It was as if I was free because I was finally able to say how much I loved Camilla.  I regret what I said to her before and I will do everything I can to replace it with good memories.  This time, I will make sure that I never turn my back on her again and I will love her as fully as Kobe Herrera.

I sang because I remembered the two times I claimed Camilla earlier in her room.  If only I didn't want that time to end and I wanted to get tired of just being next to her.  I did my best to find out where Camilla really lived, and also because I wanted to know right away, I looked for someone to ask other than Grace.  I was not disappointed because I found out something.

At first, I planned to take Grace with me, but I thought I might not be able to talk to her properly so even though I did something wrong I didn't bring Grace to our conversation when she called me in the morning.  I apologized to her and I wanted to see Camilla, I did the right thing.

Laughing, I was just shaken by the nonsense I did, but I had a different feeling for Grace that I didn't know if I was right.  I stopped at the thought of arriving and took my car to the parking area.

As I walked and adjusted my coat and I felt knee weakness.  You made me tired Camilla.  I just smiled and continued walking.

"Good morning Sir, it's wrong it's noon."  The employees I meet smile at me.

Smiling I nodded to them that they were surprised as well as those in the information they were wondering.  I just let it go because really when I come here to the company I don’t get noticed by the people here.  As I entered the elevator I quietly looked at the watch what time it was.  It's lunchtime.

When I arrived at my office it was open and it looked like my secretary was there.

"Sir, it's you. Ma'am Claire is here waiting for you and--"

"Hi, babe."  She greeted me immediately and walked towards me.

"What are you doing here again?"  Meet the eyebrow I said and I sat down in the swivel chair.  My secretary came out and signaled to me.

"Kobe, you're already mad at me. Are you avoiding me?"  She said sadly and sat down on the edge of my desk.

"Yes,"  I answer and I take out a folder that sits here on top of the table.

"But why? I miss you already, I miss your making love with me."  Captivatingly it says touching the collar of my polo shirt.

I shook her hand to her surprise.

"My wife is back, so you better forget me, Claire, ok?"  I said seriously and she leaned over and stood up.

"So, that's why I'm like that because your wife is already there. What about me, what if you get me pregnant?"  It says loudly.

"Maybe, Claire. You know, first of all, I was drunk then and I'm not sure if anything happened to us. Because I wasn't wearing anything when I woke up. Or else nothing happened to us?"  I noticed that she turned pale because of what I said.

"O-of course not! You still Kobe, course something happened to us, and what if I told your wife that I was your woman while she was gone, what Kobe? What will your wife do?"

Angry I grabbed her arm and squeezed and I stared at her wickedly.  "Just try, Claire. Because you won't like what I do to you."  Stop the anger I say.

"I'm sure I'll like what you do to me, Mr. Kobe."  Its annoying answer and stood up walked towards the door.  "This is not the end, Kobe."  It's threatening.

I leaned over when Claire came out and was pissed that I was closing my eyes because why are there so many people?  Nothing can stop me from being with Camilla again.

"What are you going to clean here, Kobe? This house looks like it's just been cleaned?"

I nodded and looked at mama as she sat on the couch and watched the house cleaners I took.

"Mom, I want Camilla to see that I didn't let down,"  I answer seriously.

"Gosh, I don't know about you. But where is Camilla now? I already missed that child, wait a minute, do I have a grandchild with her?"  Excited says Mom.

"Nothing,"  I replied that she was wondering.

"How come nothing? How many times has something happened to you you said? It's impossible that you didn't get her pregnant as much as you did."

"I don't know, I'll go with her to.s doctor,"  I replied that mama was silent.

"Isn't that right? For me, I want to have a grandchild when your dad and I are getting older. Let Camilla go home and let her get a checkup."  Worried it says.

"I'll pick her up later."  I only answer because I hope none of us have a problem.

"How is Camilla?"  Mama asked later.

"She's still, Camilla. My wife, Camilla."  I answered weakly and walked over to Mama.

"Are you your wife? Now get serious because when you make Camilla cry again, she will leave you."

"Yes ma, I'll do that."  My answer to Mama is serious.

"All right, I'll go home first and order some food so we can celebrate your wife's return."  Smiling Mom said.

I nodded to Mama who was smiling because even though I gave her trouble, she was still there for me to preach to me and guide me.

"Grace, why don't you go home?"

I even laughed at Selene because I invited her to have a drink after we talked. After all, it was the pain I was feeling.  Then I said goodbye to boss Vincent who won't be coming in tomorrow.

"What are you? Of course, I can still. Then I'll just reconcile my love."  Laughing I said she stopped.

"And who's that love? You don't have a boyfriend?"  Raised eyebrow it says.

I laughed at him.  "What do you, wait a minute I'll just call him."  Closing I said and took my phone out of the shoulder bag I was wearing.  I tried to open my eyes and look for Kobe's number, I saw it immediately and I signaled to Selene not to make noise.

It also made me a little nervous even though I was drunk.

"Yes, hello?"

"Can you bring me home? It's Grace you don't know me?"  I answered angrily on the other line and I motioned to Selene again.

"Ok, but I'm going to your apartment. I'll pick, Camilla."

I felt annoyed and jealous again because it meant they would be together again.

"Follow me here and take me with you, please Kobe? I can't go home anymore."  I begged him and I heard his sigh.

"You're going there too. I'm not far away. I can't go home anymore, please Kobe?"  I repeat.

"Ok."  Poor answer it and I said where I was.

"I told you he was going to get me here,"  I said happily and leaned against the side of the wall here outside where Selene and I had been drinking.

"Hey, Grace. Is that Camilla's husband? Why did you say to him? I'll take you home."

I raised an eyebrow at Selene because it was her again.  "Can you be quiet this is my last time,"  I replied with a smile flashing on the side of my lips.

"What? What are you going to do? Are you going crazy!? You're going to destroy them, stop right there Grace."  It says angrily.

I didn't answer her and I saw the car coming so I fixed myself up.

"he's already there, bye Selene."  I smiled goodbye to Selene and immediately met Kobe's car even though I was dizzy.

"Thank you for coming."  I closed my eyes as the car door opened.

"You ride right there in the back."  It says that seems serious.

"I-I don't want to go there, I'm just here ahead,"  I answered immediately forcing the door open until it opened which he opened maybe.

We were both quiet and I could feel him as Kobe drove seriously.  I pretended to close my eyes and put my head very close to his and simply pulled my skirt up to see my white thighs better.

"Arrange a seat."  It says.

I raised my eyebrow until we reached the front of our apartment, it looked like no one was downstairs, maybe Camilla was upstairs.

At the same time we got out of the car and I fumbled for the key in my bag.

"Just wait ah,"  I said while he was behind me.  When I saw the key I immediately opened the door, turned on the light and Kobe entered.

I picked up my phone and called Camilla and let it ring.  Kobe just stood and looked up, I approached and pretended to fall.  But Kobe touched me and I looked at him especially on his lips.  I heard footsteps from above so I didn't think of anything else and I immediately kissed Kobe who was surprised.

Kobe suddenly pushed me and we both looked at Camilla who immediately looked angry so I was a bit happy because of her reaction.

"Camilla, I didn't do anything,"  Kobe spoke immediately and he approached Camilla but she walked over and passed Kobe.

I was surprised because she was getting closer to me and I wasn’t prepared for what she did.  A crisp slap landed on my cheek that shocked me so much and I felt like I had lost my drunkenness.

"The thickness of the face!"  It screams at me.

"Why did you slap me!? I was kissed by--"

I didn't finish what I was about to say because another slap hit my cheek.  Kobe approached Camilla.

"You did this to me. I consider you a friend, Grace! Why me, and why didn't you tell me that Kobe was the one you were telling me about before, huh!? And now you have a plan to destroy us! You're such a bad friend!"  It screamed at me crying.

I didn’t know who she knew and I wasn’t able to speak and I wanted to apologize because I suddenly woke up.  But I couldn't open my mouth.

"Yes, Camilla. I'm bad, but is it bad to love?"  I shouted at her while crying as well.

"But, why is my husband? And why do you have to destroy us? I didn't do anything wrong to you. Selene told me every one that you had a plan and sent for Kobe."

Here I could no longer answer and spontaneously retreated my foot to the door and I ran away from that place.  I can't seem to see them anymore because of what I did and my shame.
