###Chapter 109 You Designed
Not looking at his frown, I continued, "Astley Group is facing crisis because of the changes you implemented. In just a few days, you eliminated those investors who were not strong enough to survive these days and bought these stocks at a low price. When Astley Group returns to normal, these stocks will be sold at a higher price, and the company's market value has almost doubled as soon as he goes in and out."
'You as the executive of the company should know these things very well,' I thought silently.
Seeing that my analysis was close, he raised his eyebrows and said, "You are my wife, and I have no reason to let you take risks!"
As soon as I heard him said this, I couldn't help laughing. "Jordan, do you really consider me as your wife?"
There are only a few important people in the company. Kian Hastings and Brad Silverman are his brothers and are willing to stand with him on the line of life and death. How can he let them carry the pot?
After doing the math, in fact, I am still the most suitable!
"Ivelle, there are many things in this world that are not as simple as we thought. You are very smart, but you can't see everything thoroughly."
There was tiredness in his voice. I could see that he was very exhausted.
I stopped talking, leaned against the head of the bed and calmed down for a while. After a while, I got up from and said faintly, "You go to your work. I'll go downstairs for a walk."
Sister-in-law Marcela Yeardly was downstairs cleaning up the flowers and plants in the yard that had been messed up by the heavy rain. When she saw me coming down from the stairs, she smiled and said, "You woke up, is there anything wrong with you?"
I smiled back at her as I shook my head. Then I noticed the bayberry tree raised originally in the backyard was also destroyed by the heavy rain and its ripe fruits are scattered all over the ground.
After recovering from a serious illness, I was in a good mood. I went back to the hall to find a fruit basket and picked all the bayberry I could pick under the tree.
Looking at the red bayberry, I couldn't help filling it into my mouth.
"What are you doing?" Asked by the voice behind. It was Jordan Astley who suddenly came in front of me and snatched the basket of fruit in my hand and said helplessly, "There are many worms in the bayberry. You have to wash the fruit first before you stuff into your mouth, or you will have diarrhea!"
With that, he handed the basket to Mrs. Yeardly and said, "Please soak these in salt water for a while!"
As a result, Mrs. Yeardly looked at me and Jordan Astley leaving vaguely.
I looked up and the fact that there was no fruit on the tip of the bayberry tree. I looked at Jordan and said, "It would be a pity if you picked what was on the tip of the tree, or it would have fallen off in a few days."
He looked at me, but instead of reaching for it, he bent down and picked me up. I didn't know it yet.
I was dizzy for a while and instinctively put my hand on my head. I couldn't believe it. How could he just let me pull it?
"Don't be in a daze, pick it!" He spoke in a low voice.
Suddenly a few degrees higher, I was a little uncomfortable. I paused and reached out to pick the fruit close at my hand.
But without a basket, I was a little dazed. For a moment, I was in high spirits and stuffed the bayberry in my hand into Jordan Astley's mouth.
He held me firmly with both hands, so he had to let me shove it into his mouth.
After eating a few pieces, he said helplessly, "Ask Mrs. Yeardly to bring the basket. Don't keep stuffing it in my mouth. You can't eat so much."
"Didn't you say you would have diarrhea if you ate it like this? Now, eat more and let's see if you will catch diarrhea." I opened my mouth as I picked it.
Sister-in-law Yeardly came back carrying the basket and looked on us. She said, "Oh, my God, you have to be careful. This woman's belly is a five-month old and you can't just climb up that high! What if you fall? Please don't do this. It's not safe!"
Seeing that Mrs. Yeardly was worried, I put all the bayberry in my hand into the basket and said with a smile, "It's all right, there are only a few left. I picked it and came down!"
Picking the red bayberry at the tip of the tree, I held Jordan Astley's head and said, "All right, you let me down!"
Sister-in-law Yeardly stood holding the basket with a worried look on her face. "You young people are so brave; I don't know how dangerous it is."
Jordan Astley often exercised on weekdays. He held me on the wrist and brought me downstairs. I was surprised looking at the bits of sweats on his forehead. I smiled and asked, "Why are you sweating? Am I heavy?"
He spits the bayberry fruit from his mouth and smiled back at me. "I am carrying two people on my hand, why do you think I should not sweat?"
I was still surprised. I couldn't help touching my belly. I always felt as if my tummy had been growing up so fast recently.
Jordan Astley's cell phone rang. I saw him coming out of the yard with his phone. I took the basket in Yeardly's hand and went into the hall.
I put the bayberry fruit from the basket to the basin to soak in in salt and water. I was unconsciously looking out of the yard and my heart is inexplicably restless.
The phone that can get him avoid me should be from Nicole Blakeley.
People will, to some extent, think of something more extreme. Out of frustration, I suddenly knocked over the basin of soaked bayberry. Out of control. And on purpose.
The noise was so loud that Mrs. Yeardly hurried in, looking around the mess and worrying, "What's the matter? Are you hurt?"
I shook my head and looked up at Jordan Astley with an expressionless face. He walked up to me and looked at me earnestly. Upon confirming that I was all right, he breathed a sigh of relief, "What's the matter?"
"Nothing." I said plainly. I opened my mouth as I looked at the red bayberry rolling all over the floor, then I suddenly lost interest. I turned faintly and went back to the bedroom.
From behind came a low voice from Mrs. Yeardly, "Mr. Astley, I suggest to take Miss Ivelle to the hospital sometime. I always feel as if she is sick."
Am I not sick? Physically and mentally exhausted, isn't it a disease?
When I got back to the bedroom, my heart was still so heavy that I decided to call Maisie Rogers.
The phone rang a few times and then got through. "Ivelle!"
"Hi. How are you doing? Are you having a good time there?"
And the person on the other end of the phone said excitedly, "Well, let me tell you, this place is so beautiful. The plums in the mountains are ripe and delicious. I'll send some to you in two days. Please remember to check."
According to her voice, she is definitely having a good life.
Probably her happiness is infectious, I smiled and said, "In the pregnancy, is constant dizziness and vomiting normal? Is there anything wrong with it?"
"Yes! That is all natural." She was probably in the mountain. I could hear the wind in her ear clearly. "Ivelle, the air here is very fresh. I already planted some flowers in the yard. I also moved some wild flowers from the mountain and put them in the yard. It looks very beautiful. When you have time, you come here and have a look. I will make sure you will like it."
I subconsciously nodded, paused, realized she couldn't see it, and said, "Good!"
She paused. She may be aware of my poor words and bad mood, she opened her mouth to test the way, "Ivelle, has something happened to you?"
I didn't know what to say for a moment, and after a pause, I said, "Maisie Rogers, I seem to have come to a dead end. I can't get out!"
