###Chapter 140 Divorce Agreement Was Put Away By Jordan Astley
"Well, I know!" There were a few people in the villa, and it was still early. Ivelle found a seat, looked at the scenery in the yard and said, "When I have a baby, I'll come back with the baby to see you, and then let her call you her godmother!"
Maisie cut her off, "I don't want to be called a 'Godmother!' Just let her call me 'Mom.' And my baby will call you the same in the future. If I would be her godmother, just let her call me 'Mom!'"
Ivelle just laughed at what she said. "Yes, it's up to you."
"Jon is probably going back to the capital these days. If you are idle and bored in the capital, talk to him and go out to get together. After his mother's affair, he is more or less stressed on a lot of things, so he goes out especially in the capital. When he sees the people of the Hastings family, he probably feels even more uncomfortable."
Ivelle nodded and sighed. "I'll call him later and ask him when he will come to the capital."
Maisie answered and said, "By the way, it must have been convenient if you will write down his number. He has changed his number recently. The last time he went back, he changed his phone number. He contacted me on a different number."
They were all used to Jon's habit of changing numbers so she just said, "Well, give me his number and I'll write it down!"
With that, Ivelle turned on the speakerphone and was ready to record it with her cell phone when she saw Mrs. Bradley wiping the table in the living room. She went in and said 'Hello.'
When she went upstairs while still on phone call, Maisie heard the movement on my side and said, "Don't forget the number while walking. Either look for paper and pen, or I'll send it to you later."
Ivelle had nothing to do so she just wanted to call her and talked to her. Ivelle did not want to hang up. She simply said, "I went to the study to look for paper and notes."
The study was very large, Jordan bought a lot. She shrugged the thought of what Jordan had done and inserted the key on the keyhole. She rummaged through the drawer and found a blank piece of paper. After that, Ivelle asked Maisie the number because she had found something to write it down.
Talking to her about some trivial topics, Ivelle noticed the hard-shelled dark yellow paper bag in the drawer. Out of curiosity, she opened the bag while talking to on the phone. Seeing the contents of the document, she was a little distracted for a moment.
"By the way, do you still have nausea? Elder people here say they won't throw up in seven months. I assume your baby is on his seventh month?" On the other end of the phone was the sound of Maisie complaining and wailing but Ivelle did not seem to hear anything as she just stared at the words on the document. She already lost the desire to chat and said, "Maisie, I'll hang up first."
"What's the matter?"
"Nothing, bye for now!"
After hanging up the phone, Ivelle closed the drawer and felt that her heart was really blocked. Perhaps because the atmosphere in the study was too dull so she went downstairs. Mrs. Bradley even greeted her with a smile and asked, "Mrs. Astley, do you have anything to eat? Shall I make you some dessert?"
"No need!" She did not have the energy to deal with her, so she simply replied with a faint voice and went out of the hall.
The capital was so big that she did not know where she wanted to go for a while.
Out of the villa, Ivelle aimlessly wandered in the street. She was looking up only to meet the eyes that were strangers to her. In fact, she did not feel so bad. Jordan wanted to divorce her. Ivelle knew about this from the day she married him, and she already prepared her heart with that day to come.
If she did not bear the child with her now, Jordan and Ivelle would have already returned to the bridge and the road would have gone back to its original route.
Wandering aimlessly around, Ivelle seemed to be lost. She was looking at all kinds of people on the street and she did not know that for a moment! It was so hot that she found a place to sit down and went out absent-mindedly without her cell phone and bag. It seemed that she was really lost at this time.
When she noticed that it was getting dark, she decided to borrow a cellphone from the passers-by but all of them refused and looked at her suspiciously.
A black BMW was parked on the side of the road. Ivelle thought it was going to park there so she turned around and walked blankly in the opposite direction.
"Ivelle!"
Behind her came a man's low voice. Ivelle was unfamiliar and stupefied for a moment. She looked back and saw that the window of the BMW had been rolled down, revealing the man's clear and resolute side face.
It was Aaron! What was he doing here?
"What a coincidence to meet you here, Mr. Badger!" Ivelle laughed and tried hard to cover up her embarrassment at this time.
He seemed to talk less and his eyes fell on her feet where she had taken off her shoes. Ivelle had walked too far and her feet were rubbed with blood, so she took off her shoes.
Ivelle was a little embarrassed when he looked at her like that, but she had no time to care in hiding it from him, so she had no choice but to laugh.
"Get in the car!" When he spoke, she could not hear the mood.
"No need!" Ivelle instinctively refused, "I'm just going for a walk. I'll be back in a minute. Don't bother. I'm fine so don't worry."
He raised his eyebrows with a touch of displeasure. "When it gets dark, it will be more difficult for you to find your way back!"
He was right though.
Ivelle pursed her lips and looked down at the blood evident on her feet. She sighed silently as she thought she was being a hypocrite that time.
When she got in the car, he looked at Ivelle and did not say much but, "Fasten your seat belt!"
She nodded and saw Aaron start the car engine. She said, "Wall Street Villa!"
He did not talk, he just drove quietly.
There was some terrible stillness in the air, and her stomach growled weakly. She felt a little embarrassed for a moment.
He looked at me and asked, "What do you want to eat?"
Feeling embarrassed, Ivelled bowed her head and said, "I'll be home in a minute. I'll be home to eat!"
"Italian cuisine, Western cuisine, or hot pot!"
"Hot pot!"
When she opened her mouth to answer, Ivelle was stupefied and did not look at him after she said that. She saw his eyebrows rose so she bit her lips. It was all the scourge caused by eating.
He parked his car in the parking area by the side of the road and looked at Ivelle and said, "Let's go!"
Then he got off the car. He chose a roadside hot pot restaurant. Ivelle studied the decoration and it was very good. Hot pot restaurant business was extremely good.
The waiter found a place for the both of them, then handed the menu to Aaron. The petite waitress's good-looking eyes secretly glanced at him several times.
Aaron turned to the menu and looked at Ivelle and said, "What do you want to eat?"
She bowed down her head to scan the menu which was not pretentious. Ivelle checked a few dishes directly but she paused and looked at him when she remembered something and said, "I didn't bring my cell phone or wallet with me."
He nodded. "I'll pay for it."
When he said this, Ivelle just nodded and went on to order a few more dishes. After that, she handed the menu to the petite girl who still looked at him in a daze. The waitress took the menu and secretly glanced at him before leaving.
Aaron was indeed a good-looking and ostentatious man. And everyone had a love of beauty.
Looking at him, Ivelle said, "Mr. badger, thank you for today and thank you for tonight!"
After all, he helped her back at the restaurant when she nearly tripped and saved her and her baby. She just could not remain silent and indifferent.
He raised his eyebrows and answered faintly, "Okay!" Then there was nothing else to say.
The meal they had was extremely quiet. Ivelle did not know anything about him and she had nothing to say as well. So was Aaron on the other hand. He remained elegant and reserved, which attracted the attention of many people.
After filling her stomach, Ivelle put down her spoon and fork and stopped moving.
He raised his glance to look at her when noticed her movements. And so he said in a shallow voice, "Are you full?"
Ivelle nodded and sincerely smiled.
He put down his utensils, gracefully wiped his mouth and said, "Okay, then. Let's go!"
The way this man handled things, Ivelle could not find any topic to talk to him for a while. She always felt that he was not cold, indifferent, but not warm and noisy as well. He just could take everything calmly with him.
When Ivelle got on the car, she took a look at it. It was already nine o'clock.
