###Chapter 156 Children's Tragedies - Part 2
He smiled savagely. "Ivelle, are you still a woman?"
"You don't think if I'm a woman?" I waited for the elevator to open and went in.
He followed me and our conversation stopped.
We arrived at the restaurant.
I ordered a lot of dishes. Jordan watched me pick up food from the red pot.
He didn't like having steamboat. It was because even though it was tasteful, it seemed unsanitary. He has never eaten it or bothered to touch it.
As I was waiting for the dish to be cooked in the pot, I swiped through my phone since I was bored.
He took my phone away and said, "Don't play with your phone, it's bad for your eyes."
I pursed my lips and didn't say much.
As I stared at the cooked food that was near him, I saw the look of disgust in his eyes. I couldn't help but say, "If you really don't want to be here, you can go to the restaurant next to this place."
I didn't mean to say it in a bad way. I just felt that he should be able to eat and be comfortable, instead, he gave me a cold look and said, "Eat quickly!"
His phone rang, and he glanced down and frowned, "I'm just going to answer the phone!"
I nodded and watched him go out with his cell phone by his ear.
It wasn't long before the food was ready to eat. I didn't bother to wait for him. I was comfortably happy as I ate my food as no one was there to disturb me.
I looked up to check on Jordan carefully and saw that he got on the car as he was talking with someone on the phone.
After about ten minutes, he came in again and saw that I was eating happily. He did not touch the utensils that were across from me.
He just said, "Be cautious and meaningful later tonight when we celebrate. Would you like to go?"
"Where?"
"Bailemen!"
Bailemen was the most extravagant place in the capital, a safe place for men and a place for women to make money. I was not interested in this kind of place.
Faintly said, "I don't want to go!"
He nodded. "Good!"
Jordan really didn't like having steamboat, so he didn't eat with me, but just watched me devour my food.
I've had enough to eat. It was a pity that I haven't put the food in the pot yet, won't be able to take it home with me.
When I looked at the leftover food, I gave up and said, "Jordan, go and pay now."
He got up and didn't say anything else. He paid at the front desk, pulled me out of the restaurant, looked at me, and said, "Are you tired? Do you want to go for a walk?"
I shook my head and said, "No!" When I realized that he hasn't eaten anything, I asked, "What would you like to eat?"
"Nothing!" After a pause, he said, "Let's head back first!"
My cell phone suddenly rang. I checked who it was and answered Brad's call.
"Ivelle, are you busy right now?"
I was confused and shook my head, "I'm not!"
He smiled. "We're at Bailemen. Why don't you come and celebrate with us?"
I looked at Jordan and saw that he had started the car and looking in the direction of the villa.
He paused and said to the phone, "OK, come by later!"
After hanging up the phone, I looked at Jordan and said, "Let's go to Bailemen!"
Jordan furrowed his eyebrows and didn't say much.
"Bailemen!"
"Third floor!"
The music in entertainment places was particularly exciting. I followed Jordan and walked to the door of the bar.
He looked back at me and said, "Just stay with me. We'll stay for a while and then leave."
I nodded.
The door was pushed open, the room was dark, only the lights on the stage were flashing, and a young girl was dancing.
When Kian and Brad saw Jordan coming, they signaled the young girl to get off the stage.
With the dim yellow light on, the atmosphere did not look as exciting as it had just been.
Nicole was also there. She sat beside Kian, but she was very quiet. Brad also brought a girl with him, who was wearing a blue knee-length skirt. She looked familiar to me.
From my memory, I remembered that it was Eva Blakeley. I could not help but frown when I saw her sitting next to Brad and was clinging next to him.
I couldn't explain what I felt. Although she didn't know the story of Maisie, who was now hiding in the countryside and was pregnant. Brad was uncertain with women right now.
The explanation with this Blakeley was not simple. She was obviously obsessed with Jordan, but why was she suddenly after Brad?
Several people sat down. Jordan and Brad talked about the company but I could not join their conversation. Nicole was annoying and very arrogant in her heart.
She didn't want to take the initiative to socialize with others, especially when she saw that Eva had been graciously pouring wine for the man, smiling, and was listening to her man conversating with the others.
The disgust in her eyes became more and more obvious. After Eva poured the wine into Kian's glass, Nicole couldn't take it anymore, and she got up and said to Eva, "Miss Eva, go out and buy me a burrito! I didn't eat much tonight, so now I'm a little hungry."
The other men didn't pay attention to what Nicole said, but Jordan looked at me and asked, "Do you want anything to eat?"
I thought about it, shook my head, and said, "I'm not hungry."
Jordan didn't say anything afterward. Eva looked a little pale. She looked at Nicole, smiled, and said, "Miss Nicole, you can order takeout if you want. Now that it was getting late, it's not safe for me to go out alone, especially that I am a girl."
"There's nothing I want to eat from the takeout menu. What if you buy it for me? Are you afraid I won't give you money?" Nicole was a little stubborn now that she was powerful and had the strength to boss people around.
I have been used to her being like this all these years.
The other three men were the same, but Eva was not used to it. For her, Nicole was making things difficult and could not boss other people around, except her.
Eva was upset but she managed to pull Brad closer with a smile, and gently said, "Brad, what would you like to eat? I'll go down and buy some food for Nicole, and I'll buy something for you too."
Brad frowned, glanced at Nicole, and asked, "Didn't you just eat now?" He was upset and cold towards Nicole. He was always cold towards people unless he liked them.
Nicole nodded and but ignored him, "I didn't eat much!"
"Can't you go and buy it yourself?" Brad was very straightforward.
As soon as Brad said that, it made Nicole and Kian cautious and unhappy. Nicole made a face and said, "Was there anything wrong with me asking her to go and buy food? She is just a working girl. What are you so mad about?"
"She is a working girl. So, what are you?" Brad asked angrily, "Nicole, have you forgotten what you were before?"
Nicole was an orphan with nothing and no one to rely on before she met Erin and Andrew.
Nicole's face could not be hung up completely by this remark. "Brad, why are you attacking me for the sake of a woman?"
"After becoming a lady, you feel like you can just step and boss other people around?" Brad sneered, "Did you really think that we all have to spoil you?"
