###Chapter 194 Abnormal Behavior Of Jordan Astley - Part 6
Looking at the group of people with different faces on the conference table, Ivelle Astley was a little worried for a moment. Aaron Badger's words were too straightforward.
Samson's Electronics had the potential and would not become what he said it would be in the end.
After a while, Reginald Remington opened his mouth and looked at Aaron. "Boss Badger is sure that you will invest in research and development of AI?"
Aaron nodded, "We must!"
The other people at the conference table were actually investors who didn't know much about technology and had less say, so they all looked at Reginald and waited for his answer.
A few moments after, Reginald stood up from his seat, went to Aaron, stretched out his hand toward him, and said, "Boss Badger, we have a pleasant cooperation."
Ivelle was stupefied, and she reacted in a moment. Was this done?
Then, after signing the contract and having lawyers of both sides review the contract, Reginald looked at Aaron and Ivelle, then said, "How about you two come to the capital and accept my treat in the evening at the Kenny's House for a meal?"
Having dinner after signing the contract and discussing the following cooperation matters were the usual way of the industry. Even if Reginald did not open his mouth, Aaron would have things to say.
In a few hours, Aaron and Ivelle left Samson's Electronics. He went to the hotel while she went back to the villa.
Ivelle hadn't come back to live in the landscape for a long time, but fortunately, someone had taken care of it, and everything was the same as before.
When she returned to the villa, the babysitter hired by Jordan Astley had prepared delicious food. She had no appetite. She simply ate some and went back to the upstairs bedroom to have a rest.
She woke up early in the morning and didn't sleep much last night. As soon as she got into bed, she fell asleep.
Vaguely aware of someone at the bedside, she fell asleep and thought it was her delusion, but after a time, she felt that the figure was still there, as if she was being pressed by a ghost for an hour.
She was so sleepy that she couldn't keep her eyes open, but she vaguely felt that a person was sitting by the bed. She was anxious for a moment, but there was nothing she could do about it.
She finally struggled to wake up. She was already sweating to see if there was anyone by the bed, but the bedroom was empty.
Doing more was what led her to sleep deeply. Her body had been very weak after delivery, so it would be usually like this.
As she heavily went downstairs, it was already dark. She went downstairs and the babysitter said, "Ma'am, your cell phone has rung several times. I'm afraid it's urgent. Please take a look."
When she came back just, she just left her bag downstairs. After hearing what she said, she went to get her phone.
It was Aaron. She didn't answer the phone. He sent her a message telling her the address for dinner.
Kenny's House building.
Second floor.
When Ivelle arrived, all the people were there. Seeing that she came in a hurry, several people joked, "Director Ivelle is very busy with business. You have to punish yourself for being late by drinking down three shots."
She smiled and sat next to Aaron, but she really drank three glasses of wine.
After eating a meal, it was mostly small talk. She sat next to Aaron, and he picked up food for her from time to time.
She was used to this move. Reginald watched it several times and couldn't help laughing. "Director Ivelle and General Badger have a mutual understanding. If Director Ivelle hadn't been married, we would have thought you two were husband and wife."
This remark was unintentional, so Aaron and Ivelle were stupefied for a moment. She looked up, smiled, and said, "After working for a long time, don't get me wrong, but our Mr. Astley don't easily get jealous."
This was a joke, and for a moment, several people laughed.
Aaron's face was somehow displeased.
Ivelle unconsciously raised her hand to get the wine glass. Her hand was held by him, and her voice was low and cold. "I drank too much!"
For a moment, all the people on the table looked at Aaron and Ivelle. Ivelle withdrew her hand and said faintly, "It's a little too much."
It was really uncomfortable to be looked at like a monkey, not to mention that Aaron intended to embarrass her, so she was a little restless.
As always, he picked up food for her and refused to let her drink, but he kindly asked for a glass of milk for her.
He was so obvious that everyone on the table seemed to know it at a glance.
She felt a little uncomfortable, and if she explained this kind of thing, it would look more like there was no value here than if she didn't explain it at all.
After a while, there was a beep. There was a message from Jordan on the mobile phone screen, "What are you doing?"
Ivelle: "The contract has been signed, so we ate out!"
Jordan: "Have you been drinking?"
Ivelle: "Well, not much."
It took a while for the other end to send four words, "Give me the address."
She pursed her lips as she was in the capital so he could not fly to pick her up. She typed a few words and said, "Kenny's House building. I'll be home in a while."
The other end of the phone was quiet. She put down her phone, got up, and went to the bathroom. She just drank three glasses of liquor and felt a little dizzy.
She flushed her face with cold water in the bathroom and accidentally bumped into the wine delivery waiter on the way out.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" The waiter apologized again and again.
Ivelle was a little dizzy. She shook her head and waved her hand. "It's all right. Just be careful."
"Director Ivelle!" An unexpected voice called out, so she could not help but be stupefied as she looked up.
It was Kyle Branson with a wig and heavy makeup. She wore a miniskirt and looked like a girl from a nightclub.
Ivelle couldn't help frowning. She saw her twice lately. It seemed like a coincidence, but she couldn't help saying, "How do you do this?"
She was subjected to domestic violence in the morning and came to serve wine in the evening. What happened to her?
She lowered her head and said in a very low voice, "Boss Astley gave a dead order in Hempstead's personnel circle. All the real estate companies in Hempstead will not hire me. I have no way to survive. I have no choice but to serve wine."
Ivelle didn't understand. "Why did Jordan do this? Although he is a bad person, he would not be so directed at a person."
Kyle looked up at her and bowed her head slightly. "It's because I was involved in AC and the other company, and you were expelled from Astley mostly because I did something I shouldn't have done in the middle. I imitated your handwriting and signed a lot of information about AC."
Ivelle knew these things, and she was really angry at that time, but even for the sake of Kyle being with me for two years, she only warned her verbally as she left Astley Group.
But she didn't think about it much!
So, Jordan also knew about this?
After a pause, she looked at her and said, "This is over. I will tell Jordan when I go back. Your ability is good. He may have been angry at that time. I will sort this out. Don't work here. Besides, since Caldwell is not a good person, you'd better find a way to leave!"
Life was short and staying with bad people was not what she wanted for anyone.
Ivelle was a little dizzy. Thinking of going back early, she patted Kyle on the shoulder and was ready to go.
Kyle stopped her, then suddenly knelt down. For a moment as she was kneeling on the ground, she began to cry, "Director, I am sorry. I should not have been so wrong. I was wrong so I was punished."
