###Chapter 204 Sets A Trap For Caldwell – Part 5
Ivelle opened her eyes and saw Jordan looked down at her with no expression on his face. There was no light on the ward, and the lamp beside her hospital bed shone in the room which made him look more secretive and enigmatic.
She just looked at him and did not open her mouth. She knew in her heart that he was angry. From the hotel to the hospital, he never said a word and just asked the attending doctor who examined her to see if there was anything else that was wrong.
When the light was turned on, the nurse came in to change the dressing of her wounds. She noticed that the atmosphere was wrong, looked at them awkwardly, and left.
Under the bright light, his suit was wrinkled. Jordan's handsome face was haggard and his black eyes stared at her. His mouth was peeled because it was dry, but it did not affect the dignity and elegance of the aura he exudes.
She thought that as long as she didn't talk, he wouldn't talk, too. Ivelle didn't want him to talk because she knew in herself that she acted rashly. "Aren't you going to talk about it?" Jordan asked in an emotionless voice.
'Say what?' Ivelle composed the words in her head but for a moment, she didn't know what to say. She knew that she could just tell him that she did it on purpose and there's a calculation behind her every action.
But then, even without saying this, he already knew about it after he met Orion and Liam.
After thinking about it, Ivelle bowed her head. Her lips pouted and put on a puff of air in her cheeks. She braced herself and let him criticize her. After all, he has the right to scold her.
When he saw her like this, Jordan was a little angry and stared at her motionless with his pair of black eyes. "For the sake of scum, you made yourself like this. Good for you."
He may have seen the bruises on her body and spoke heavily for a long time.
Ivelle curled her lips and looked up at him. She was a little aggrieved and said. "It hurts a little bit!"
In fact, it really hurts. She played Caldwell like poker in her hand. She was lucky that she wasn't strangled by him.
He sneered. "I know that it hurts."
Ivelle that he was angry, she pursed her lips and said. "I didn't think he would do it so hard. I thought you would come after he hit me a few times at most, but I didn't think it would end up like this."
He exclaimed. "So you blame us for being slow?"
She shook her head, tugged him, and smiled at Jordan. "It's good that you came."
"Why is Norris in the hotel?" He spoke in a serious tone. "If you want to fight for Kyle, why is there Norris?"
As for Norris, she was also very surprised. Ivelle thought it was Kyle who called him. However, this man was cunning and his involvement made people think that his presence saved me.
Ivelle has no proof that she was kidnapped by him before, and even if she did, no one would believe her.
"I don't know. He may know Caldwell, so he came to the hotel to look for him."
His obsidian black eyes sank and darkened. "Ivelle, tell me the truth!"
Her chin was hooked by him and his black eyes overflowed with a dangerous light. "You and Norris really didn't know each other before?"
She nodded and couldn't help saying in disbelief. "Do you think I should know him?"
He suddenly sneered. "Norris is the Vice President of Erin in City A Technology Company. He suddenly appears in the hotel where you and Caldwell are both. An old slick who lives like a fish in the water will hurt himself in order to protect an unrelated person. Ivelle, what do you think of our IQ?"
She froze and couldn't help but wonder that Norris and Erin still have a relationship.
She stared at Jordan and asked. "If I say that Norris and Caldwell are working together, will you believe it?"
"Did he hit you or any injury caused by him?" Jordan spoke and frowned.
Ivelle nodded. "He's smart. He did it before you got here."
"He knew you before?" Ivelle can't help but scowl at this question. She doesn't really want to mention what happened before.
After a pause, she said. "Nicole asked her to kidnap me before."
"When?"
"The time when I took over AC and Samson's Electronics."
He frowned and said with certainty. "She can't have done it gladly."
"Nicole has an unusual place in your heart." The moment that she gazed at him, Ivelle laughed a little openly and alienated.
He sank. "She only saw Erin a few times at that time, and she couldn't use Erin's people."
"Hmm." Ivelle didn't say anything more to defend her theory and faintly said. "Nicole cannot be so calculating, this is not her usual capacity."
He frowned. "Ivelle!"
For a moment, Ivelle thought that Jordan was here to care about her and was worried about her, but now she knew that he's supposed to be here just to question her.
She felt dejected. She was so sleepy that she yawned and concealed her disappointment. "Please Boss Astley, I'm a little tired."
He held his breath and sat in his chair, looked at Ivelle coldly with no intention of leaving at all.
The nurse came in to change her dressing and was stared at by him. She thought that she had done something wrong and her hands trembled so badly that she almost put the medicine on the ground several times.
After finally changing the medicine, she breathed a sigh of relief and hurriedly took the medicine and left.
But after walking a few steps, she came back. She watched Jordan, suddenly shivered, and said. "Miss Ivelle. please apply some medicine to the wound on your neck. This is the ointment your doctor prescribed. He said that it should be applied to you."
After the nurse left, Jordan looked at her and asked in a bad tone. "Where's the medicine?"
I pursed my lips and said faintly, "I'll wipe it myself later. Go back to bed first!"
He got up, ignored her, looked around the nightstand, and searched for the topical medicine prescribed by her attending physician. Then, the ointment was squeezed on the palm of his hand.
When it dawned on her that he was going to put it on her, Ivelle couldn't help but jerk away from him and said. "I can do it myself."
Jordan won't be Jordan if he wasn't stubborn. He had already pressed the palm of his hand on her neck and Ivelle's lips were rubbed on by him. The ointment was slightly tingling.
She frowned and moved slightly.
"Does it hurt?" He lowered his voice, leaned against her neck, and blew slightly to relieve her pain.
"It doesn't hurt." Ivelle found it tolerable. There are tons of pain that she felt already, not whether it hurts or not was a big deal.
"Don't be so impulsive in the future. Even if you want to plan and get revenge on others, you have to protect your own integrity."
She nodded obediently, closed her eyes, and refused to talk anymore.
After rubbing the medicine, he asked her. "Is there any pain anywhere else?"
She shook her head. "No more!" She dismissively told and don't want to talk.
Jordan didn't react to it as her wounds were closely examined by him. Her abdomen was kicked by Caldwell, perhaps the skin there was too tender that left a big black and blue bruise.
He looked at Ivelle and almost gnashed his teeth. "Doesn't it hurt?"
When she saw him react like this, Ivelle opted not to speak for fear that he'll be provoked.
He rubbed the medicine on her but his anger did not dissipate. He then looked at the rest of her body to check for more spots and wounds that weren't treated yet. Seeing that it was all covered up, he put the ointment aside. Jordan covered her with a quilt and said. "Have a good rest!"
She nodded. "Well, thank you!"
He squinted his eyes. "What are we?"
Ivelle curled her lips and innocently said. "People?"
Jordan was dumbfounded.
The moment that he was speechless, Jordan raised her voice. "We are husband and wife! Do you need to say 'thank you' between husband and wife?" He looked at her coldly.
Right after that, it was Ivelle's turn to be speechless.
After a few days' rest, Caldwell, as Liam said, was sentenced to death with a reprieve because he was involved in a murder case.
Joseph was involved in a discrepancy and was dismissed because many people were involved.
Therefore, Orion directly asked people who had contacted Joseph before and led the Hempstead investigation.
Then, some people took Joseph to the Capital. Aaron's company had something to do and went back to the Capital a long time ago, too.
