###Chapter 232 Halfway Enemy Named Alice - Part 4
Kyle nodded in agreement. She looked at her and added. "Besides, I found someone here to check. Joseph's wife, who had been a housewife at their home a few years ago, basically did not have the time and ability to run a large-scale farm. What surprised me the most is this farm actually made Joseph spend more than $100,000 to buy a hill in a remote mountain village. They cultivated the land and seedlings and found a local man to look at it. He basically didn't manage it for decades."
Ivelle understood what she meant. This aquaculture company, to put it bluntly, is a gimmick in which there may be no income at all and the registered account of this company is the settlement point of money and rights transactions between Joseph and these businessmen.
No wonder Orion investigated for so long and found nothing. Joseph's anomaly is too long.
After a pause, I looked at her and said. "Is there a transfer from Erin in the account of this AquaCulture company?"
Kyle shook her head. "No, Erin is very careful. Her company doesn't need to cooperate with the AquaCulture company, so she transfers money through Norris!"
"Under what name did Norris transfer money with Joseph?" Norris's company is an audit company. Although they can have contact with all companies, their transfer transaction must be output, not input. This audit company and the AquaCulture company money, the reason is not appropriate at all.
She smiled and said. "I was thinking about this at first, but later I checked and found that there are investments in the stock market owned by Norris. No matter how much financial interaction they have, it would appear as a normal market demand transaction. It's staged well to the point that it looks all reasonable and legal."
'What a cunning man!' Ivelle can't help but think.
If someone investigates them and doesn't know the inside story, they can't find out anything at all. Now, even if they know the real story, it's hard to convict Joseph. After all, these are all transactions that seemed very reasonable.
As she thought of this, Ivelle had a headache. Even if she told Orion about this, she was afraid there was no way to directly explain what was wrong with Erin.
When Kyle saw her clasped her hands, she paused and said. "You can try to start with Norris. He is not as loyal to Erin as he seems. Moreover, there seems to be a third party meddling in this matter. You know for a fact that there are also people who want to pull Erin down."
"A third party?" She can't help but wonder. "Who else did Erin offend?"
She shrugged and said. "I don't know, but I recently found that someone seems to have a grudge on her. It turned out the video of Erin when she was young and there are a lot of people involved. By the way, Joseph's wife should be a good strategic target. Although you can't find out the discrepancy about the accounts, financial statements, and money transaction, you may find about the power-sex trade."
Ivelle nodded, put away all the information Kyle had given her, looked at her, and said. "Thank you for this." She wholeheartedly thanked Kyle.
She smiled, took a sip of coffee, and said. "you're welcome. You help me take care of Caldwell and I'll do things for you. This is basic human decency. You don't have to thank me."
When Ivelle saw her like this, she did not say much. Also, she really can't have a light chat with Kyle because she has something to do.
It was already a little late when she got back to the villa. Ivelle was surprised to see Nicole as an uninvited guest even when she came back so late.
She and Alice were in the hall, chatting over tea, and seemed to have a good time.
The moment that she saw her, Alice smiled and waved to the newcomer. "Ivelle, you're back. Miss Blakely and I were just talking about you!"
She frowned. The remark was painfully hypocritical.
Nicole was dressed in a casual white cotton skirt. Her hair was pulled up and Ivelle looked at her youthful voluptuous and full of charm aura of this woman.
When Nicole saw her, she smiled and said. "Sister Ivelle, you're back. It's cold outside. Come and have a cup of hot tea with us."
Ivelle pursed her lips and there was no expression on her face. She looked at the two of them and refused. "No, you two take your time. I'll go back to the bedroom and have a rest."
"Ivelle, don't go in a hurry. Come and sit with us for a while. Your aunt has been busy with her family these years. I have never sat and talked to other people like this. She happens to be here today and you come here, too!" Sometimes Ivelle particularly envies Alice's hypocrisy. She can really let nature take control of every situation without appearing to be a hypocrite.
This was made so clear that Ivelle had no reason to refuse anymore, so she went to the living room and sat down.
Alice made tea, and Nicole plastered a smile on her face. At first glance, the picture was dreadfully harmonious. It seemed that the three of them are good friends, but only they all know that they're not.
Alice said softly after brewing tea. "The most classic step in this tea ceremony is to smell the fragrance, but the world is impatient and we often forget this step. Today, we are not in a hurry. If you smell this tea, is it fragrant? This is ten-year-old tea. It is hard to buy good tea at a cheap price!"
Ivelle was not interested in the tea ceremony. She slowly held the tea and smelled it. It was really fragrant, but it is already late at night. Tea tasting in the middle of the night, isn't that appropriate?
Nicole had an elegant posture. After sniffing the teacup, she couldn't help but laugh. "Auntie, this tea is really delicious. It's already intoxicating before it is smelled. I'm starting to look forward to this good tea."
Alice smiled, divided the tea into cups, and said gracefully. "You have a taste!"
Ivelle just took a light sip and stopped going on, but Nicole said with a smile. "It's really good tea!"
Although she has bad blood with them, Ivelle admired these two people. They drank tea in the middle of the night with a free and elegant demeanor.
When she observed that Ivell just took a sip, Alice asked her. "Ivelle, don't you like this tea?"
She shook her head and said faintly. "No, it's just that I don't have the habit of drinking tea at night. I can't sleep when I drink too much and I'm prone to insomnia."
She nodded and smiled. "How about something else to drink?"
She shook her head and refused. "No, it's getting late. Keep drinking. I'll go upstairs and have a rest."
The sound of the engine revved came from outside the yard. Alice said with a smile. "Listen to this sound, he should be careful to come back."
When she said this, Jordan came in with the car keys and put them on the shoe cupboard. He looked up and looked at them.
When he saw Nicole, he frowned and did not open his mouth. His pair of magnetizing eyes looked at Ivelle and said. "Have you had dinner yet?"
She nodded, answered faintly, and was ready to go upstairs.
He walked fast and attempted to leave. As soon as Ivelle walked a few steps, Jordan caught up with her, hugged Ivelle, and cooed. "What have you done today? Is there anything interesting that you want to talk to me about?"
She shook her head in a light mood.
"Brother be careful with your words!" Nicole's soft voice was not suitable to the ears of Ivelle. She felt irritated at the uninvited guest.
Jordan looked at her and said dismissively. "It's getting late. Miss Blakely, won't you have to go back to rest early?"
What Jordan said was obviously an eviction order.
Nicole turned pale for a moment, opened her mouth, and whispered weakly. "I just came."
She seemed embarrassed to say, but Alice came to her side and spoke for her. "Nicole came here without a driver, she came with me. Now it's very late, and the villa is wide. It's not safe for her to go back alone, so let her stay and go back tomorrow."
