###Chapter 326 Return To Beijing
###Chapter 326 Return To Beijing
"Therefore, Blossom, each of us has what we want. If we ask for something, we will get that something."
She was silent for a long time, looked up at me, and said, "Mom, I'll go to the Capital with you."
I nodded. Everyone's preference was different. The center of gravity was different.
The time to return to the Capital has not yet been decided, so it was necessary to do a good job in Primrose.
Perhaps because of the continuous appearance of Liam and his father, coupled with the care of Abe Tucker, I seemed to be isolated in the hotel.
There where there were many girls around talking about right and wrong.
That day in the toilet, before I came out, someone was talking about it.
"Whose child do you think Ivelle Astley is with? It's not Liam Weld's, is it?"
"No way. Aren't they brother and sister?", the other wondered.
"Among the rich and aristocrats, there are a lot of people messing around, otherwise she is not a good lady in the Capital. Why would she take her children to live in this small county? Don't you think it's strange?", they wondered.
"Yes. We don't seem to have met the child's father or heard her mention him. It's not really Liam's, is it?
It's possible to have sex with your brother and finally get pregnant and hide in this small county town, isn't it? Just so they could avoid suspicion!"
I cannot help but wry smile. These people! It seems that's how they live. One can't necessarily live free from the eyes of these people. Their words are incredible!
There was a panic sound from the girls outside. "Oh, my God, I think have to go to my aunt! Which one of you is wearing an aunt's towel?"
"No, none of us came with it." Another girl replied.
"What are we going to do? I'm going to put on my skirt. I forgot it was today, and I was wearing a white dress!"
It seems easy for girls to be embarrassed by this kind of thing.
I pushed open the door. I deliberately showed unused tampons to them, lightly washed my hands then left.
My sudden appearance obviously embarrassed these people, but I seem to be used to it. I've heard all the gossip.
When I got back to the office, I continued to sort out the papers, thinking about how to tell Abe Tucker about her resignation.
"Well, thank you." Just now, I heard a girl's embarrassed voice, and then she placed a glass of milk on my desk.
I looked up and saw the little girl that I had just met in the bathroom.
"No!" I was cold-tempered and almost subconsciously opened my mouth, but slowly, feeling that this was friendly, I added, "It's easy to raise your hand."
She bowed her head, bit her mouth, and said, "I'm sorry, I just."
After that, she seemed to find it difficult to speak, looking a little embarrassed.
What she's trying to say, I guess, is that they shouldn't have gossiped behind her back.
I stopped my work and looked at her with a light look. "You don't have to apologize. I'm okay."
I really don't take it to heart. I don't know how many times I've heard this gossip.
"Hey, you are telling the truth. Why are you apologizing?" I thought we did nothing wrong. It seems reasonable for a spectator to open their mouth and wonder.
Then again, I've been working in a hotel for nearly two years, and I don't seem to remember the names of a few of my colleagues.
I looked carefully at the work hard on the girl's chest before I could see her name, Evie Jones.
Evie looked back at me with an awkward look on her face. "Don't say that," Evie said. "
She looked at me, obviously embarrassed, "I'm sorry!"
With that, she returned to her desk.
At noon, Evie walked up to me and said, "Sister Ivelle, let's go to lunch together."
I was stupefied for a moment and looked at the time, it's lunchtime!
How time flies.
I opened my mouth and wanted to refuse, but when I saw her face she looked excited about it. I pressed my words down again in my throat.
I nodded, "Well, let's go!"
There was not much food near the hotel, so she decided to go to and look for fast food restaurants and snack bars. She chose a snack bar, ordered a meal, and found a seat.
She looked at me for a long time and hesitated to speak.
I drank tea shallowly, but I have no superfluous mood.
"Sister Ivelle, about what happened in the bathroom this morning, I'm sorry. I'm sorry." I replied, "Don't worry about it."
After a pause, she added, "And thank you."
I nodded and smiled. "No, it's all gossip. Just get used to it."
She was a little embarrassed, probably ashamed of herself. "Why don't you explain?"
I raised my eyebrows and said, "Explain what?"
"Your daughter, and your relationship with Manager Abe." She spoke with great seriousness.
I smiled. "The mouth of these people, they can say whatever they like!"
"If you don't tell me, the more they feel that their guesses were true." She seems nervous but continued.
I smiled and raised my eyebrow to look at her. "Do you think it's true?"
She was stupefied for a moment, a little embarrassed. "After listening about it for a long time, I think it's true."
I smiled lightly, "I like the landscape of Primrose. When I came to Primrose with Blossom, I just wanted to live here quietly. I didn't think too much about it."
"What about the father of Blossom?" This young girl was really curious!
When the waiter served the food and we finished eating, I smiled, "It's getting late. I have to go back after lunch."
Seeing this, she stopped asking.
Back to the office, I still have something to do. Although there were not many things in the hotel, there are always two things more to be done.
Maybe it was too serious, but I just ignored the sudden quiet atmosphere in the office and the occasional abnormal cough.
After about ten minutes, my shoulder was a little sore, so I got up to get ready to pour water.
Suddenly I saw the man standing behind me, I subconsciously was stupefied for a moment, and then said, "When did you arrive?"
After asking, I regretted it, because the tone was too natural and casual in the office. I know outsiders listened, it was always ambiguous.
"It's been a while." Jordan Astley opened his mouth, with a warm and moist look on his eyebrows. "Go and pour the water."
I got up to pour water, and when I was on my way back, he dragged a chair and sat next to me, looking at the papers I had dealt with. The people in the office were surprised, confused, and curious, although they did not blatantly look in my direction. They just glance, but I still caught them.
When he saw me holding the cup of water, he raised his hand and took it. He took a sip naturally along the place where I had drunk, and there was a cough around me, which was obviously abnormal.
I frowned, said nothing more, sat back in my seat, and finished the rest of the work.
He did not disturb me, but quietly waiting for me to finish. I finished with the papers I'm working on, then rested for a while.
He said, "Are you done?"
I nodded and put the papers away.
"What would you like to eat tonight?" He didn't seem to see the strange look in the office at all.
I sighed in my heart that the man must have done it on purpose. I think my erratic temper is going to be spread more violently.
"Anything would be fine!" I looked at the time and found it was almost time to get off work.
Abe came in with the document, went directly to Jordan, handed it to him, and said, "Boss Jordan, this is the operation of the hotel in the past two years. Take a look at it."
