###Chapter 342 The Truth
###Chapter 342 The Truth
What Ivelle said was true but she felt that she shouldn't have said it because no proud woman would allow herself to be insulted in this way. Her words made Nicole angry.
Nicole tried to slap her but before her hand could hit her, it was blocked by the striding Aron Badger. Ivelle haven't seen him for a long time, the man's face was gloomy, and the hostility on his face was becoming more and more frightening.
"This is the first and last time that you will do this or you will suffer a consequence." The man's voice was low but the coldness was visible to the naked eye.
Nicole's hand was thrown away by him, perhaps because the man's hand was strong. There was a big red bruise on her wrist afterward.
She sneered, a little sarcastic, "Day and night, Ivelle, you are much more annoying than expected. You are enjoying Jordan's love while thinking about another man, disgusting! You make me feel sick!"
Ivelle pursed her lips and was silent.
Aron was the one who replied and the man's voice was cold, "Disgusting? Sick of what? You feel sick because you can't get what you want? Why does it matter to you if she is qualified and capable of winning the love of several people?"
The man's mouth was as fierce as ever.
These words undoubtedly affirmed his feelings for her, Nicole gladly disdained but the jealousy in her eyes was obvious.
Her eyes fell on Ivelle and Aron, she suddenly sneered and satirized, "Does your fiancee know your love for Ivelle?"
Aron frowned, his voice was cold, "What does it have to do with you?"
Nicole was happy to speak but he was not okay with it.
"It really has nothing to do with me but I would like to remind you, Ivelle, it is better to do your part. If your current relationship with General Manager Badger was accidentally exposed, what kind of scene will you face?"
There was a threat in this remark. Her words were all suicidal.
Moreover, Felix, who was always vigilant, was there and she knew that everything would be reported to Jordan.
At first, she was somewhat envious of Nicole's progress but at that moment, she couldn't help but feel that she was not.
Aron was angry with her remark. He suddenly grabbed Nicole's wrist and the man's face was bloodthirsty and cold, "You should be glad I don't hit women, or else you know what will happen."
As soon as he released her hand, Nicole leaned into her car, somewhat frightened.
As she leaned in her car, her lips turned white. After all, she was a girl and if a man would treat her like this, she would be scared.
Aron, who was not a gentleman, looked at her coldly and warned, "You'd better stay away from her. With your present ability, you are not qualified to touch her."
Nicole was scared, so she immediately rode her car with a pale face.
After four years that she didn't meet Aron, her heart was not feeling anything, it was just that it seemed that time was too fast.
The one who was the first to break the silence was Aron. He said, "Since you are divorced, why do you still want to live under his house? You can go out and live elsewhere. I bought you a house like the one you used to want."
Ivelle wanted to laugh but she couldn't laugh after all. She looked at him calmly, "Even if I divorced him, no one could deny the fact that I am his ex-wife. However, if I will live under your roof, what reason is the reason for me to do that?"
He frowned and said, "Whatever you want, I'll give it to you as long as you want it."
Ivelle smiled and said, "Even if I ask to be your wife?"
His body stiffened because of surprise.
Ivelle sighed, "Aron, you are engaged and Jane is a good woman. Do not casually lose the jade in your hand to pick up a broken stone that will be a really stupid decision. Four years ago we clearly talked about our relationship. Please know that we could always be friends. I love Jordan and no matter what happens, it will always be him. Life is too short. I can't care about everyone's feelings. I hope that you will have a good future."
He was silent for a moment, his eyebrows were not disappointed and his aggressive face was as calm as ever. "I didn't ask you to love me, I just need you to know what I want."
He approached her and lowered his voice. "I regret it. I shouldn't have left for nothing that night four years ago."
Ivelle froze and looked up at him with anger in her eyes. "Were you the one behind that?"
On New year's Eve four years ago, Ivelle drove to the airport to pick up Liam and was taken by someone halfway. Although the Astley family was famous and had some strength in Hempstead at that time, its influence was limited.
All that matter was suppressed, neither the Weld family nor the Astley family was able to find out who took her that night. Alice Astley took the blame on this matter.
Alice spent two years in prison and Nicole was completely thrown out by her family. Later, when Ivelle left Hempstead, this matter was inexplicably forgotten. If he didn't mention it, Ivelle would always think that it was Alice who did that for the rest of her life.
No wonder that over the past four years, Alice tried her best to separate her from Jordan completely. Come to think of it, she hated Ivelle.
He smiled with a bit of gloom and coldness, "My original intention was to let you and Jordan fall out of love completely but I didn't think that your relationship would get better because of that. To my surprise, he dug his own hole when you were separated from him."
He set his eyes on Ivelle and the person he hadn't seen for many years had long lost the former intimacy and kindness. "Now that you have separated, why not be more thorough?"
Ivelle sighed, she looked up at the hot sun and squinted. "Aron, I want to live my life."
After all, he was a kind person to her and she could not say any vicious and harsh words to him.
He pursed his lips and said nothing. It was only after a long time that he said, "I can let you do what you want."
He was so stubborn that she couldn't go on talking to him. Ivelle could only sigh, "It's getting late. I should go back."
She turned around and Felix walked up to her looking relieved, it was as if he was worried that she would leave with Aron.
He held her wrist and said, "Four years ago, I didn't force you because I wanted to deal with it in your way but since you don't want to, I don't mind whether it is good or not. If Jordan doesn't worry about his reputation, then I don't mind giving him a blow at this time."
