###Chapter 353 People Always Change - Part 4
"Help me cut the steak, please."
Ivelle couldn't help glancing at Eva Blakeley and saw that she was very pale and seemed to be somewhat aggrieved.
The guests all asked for it, and there was no unreasonable reason. The waiter served them with a smile on his face. But the atmosphere that followed was a little awkward.
Jordan did not seem to see anyone else at all. He put the cut steak in front of Ivelle and said in a gentle voice, "Eat with peace of mind and don't lose you it, okay?"
Ivelle, in response, nodded her head and regained her senses. Blossom looked at her and then looked at Eva. For a moment, she did not know what was on her mind.
The little girl said coldly, "Uncle Brad, do you not love Aunt Eva here?"
Ivelle almost spits out a mouthful of water. What was the child talking about? Did she know what she had just asked?
Eva's face was very white. She lowered down her sight while biting her lips, and her face was extremely embarrassed. Despite this, she still squeezed a smile on her face.
Brad Silverman raised his eyebrow and looked at her before he said, "Do you even know what love is?"
Blossom nodded and answered, "My uncle told me that if a boy loves a girl, he will take care of her personally, just as Uncle Jordan loves his wife. He often takes care of his wife, such as cutting steak for her, cooking for her, calling her, and caring about her."
Oh my gosh! Ivelle almost punched Jordan from what she had heard from the kid. He really dared to teach anything mature to this child!
When Jordan heard this, the corners of his mouth went up. "Your uncle's observation is not bad, right?"
Blossom nodded in agreement. She was looking very serious when she said, "Of course, you also said that I should learn to observe so I will be able to identify whether a boy loves me or not. In that case, if he will, I will be happy as well!"
"Hey, Blossom. You should have your focus on eating your food and don't talk when your mouth is full, okay? Stop talking nonsense." Ivelle spoke when she saw Eva's face was not very good. She looked flushed and even more embarrassed!
The pregnant woman was emotionally unstable. Although Ivelle did not like her, she would probably not provoke her. At best, she would not dare to.
Blossom complained when she was reprimanded by Ivelle but she bowed her head and continued munching her food. But Brad his eyes fell on the kid, and he looked at her very seriously. Ivelle did not know if he opened his mouth to speak intentionally or unintentionally, "She is so straightforward and straightforward just like her!"
Ivelle frowned because she knew in her heart that he was talking about Maisie. But she still felt that his words were a little superfluous and frowned slightly. She got up and excused herself from them under the pretext of going to the bathroom.
People were really strange. When they got it, they did not cherish it. They had to wait until they completely lost it first before they looked for someone's importance and worth everywhere. This idea was just ridiculous.
Eva followed her who was looking not very good. "Since you have adopted her, why do you still take her around and affect other people's lives?"
Ivelle frowned and looked back at her. She was still frowning when she said, "What do you mean 'affecting other people's lives'?"
She could not stop herself from laughing, "Come on, just admit it that you don't want to see him with Blossom. Let's be honest! He wants to eat with Blossom, and don't blame me for the fact that he wants to be with her."
Eva looked at her who was slightly frowning, "In the future, I hope our well water will not invade the river. You take this child to live away from the capital, and you'd better not appear in my life or cross our paths again."
Looking at her, Ivelle did not help but to pity her. Such a poor woman. A child made her so nervous that she could not help sneering.
"Consanguinity is the most wonderful thing in the world. None of us can guarantee what will happen in the future. I advise you to take good care of your baby and live your own life because I am, too. Can you not find peace after everything?"
It could be seen that Brad did not love her and had no feelings toward her at all. Ivelle was afraid that all she could rely on was the child in her womb that was Brad's.
There was no point in this argument, and Ivelle did not say much to her, so she went straight to the bathroom door. When she reached it, Kyle called. She did not want to answer it but after thinking about it, she picked up the call.
"Are you busy? Do you have time for dinner tomorrow?" He worked in Astley, and she knew it. Running between the two cities in Madrid and Hempstead could be said to be quite busy and difficult.
After thinking about it, Ivelle answered, "Tomorrow is the weekend. I may have to take Blossom to the bookstore. I am not sure if I may have time. Why do you ask anyway?"
"It won't take long to have dinner in the evening." He opened his mouth and paused. "I know you may have some misunderstanding about me but Ivelle, people live for themselves and she deserves it."
Kyle's intentional or unintentional complaint against Selena in the studio was nothing to her, but people always had to choose their own friends. After all, birds of the same feather, flock together.
When he did not hear Ivelle's response, he continued, "Well, then. See you this weekend!"
When talking about things on the phone, she could not see the emotional expression of the person she was talking with, so it was easy for her to be more suspicious.
She nodded as if Kyle would have seen her did that and said, "Okay!"
After hanging up the phone, she came out of the bathroom and saw that Blossom was not on the table. There were only Jordan and Brad left there. Ivelle could not help but frown and asked them, "Where is Blossom?"
"She wanted dessert, so Eva went to pick it out for her," Brad said in response.
Ivelle frowned even more. She was not relieved after all. Rather, she was a little angry but she could not help getting angry at Brad. Ivelle switched her gaze to look at Jordan and said, "Miss Blakeley, who was pregnant, was followed, Blossom. How can you let her follow Eva?"
Jordan suddenly looked at her and when he saw that Ivelle was worried, he hurriedly got up and faced her. He said, "They are only in the restaurant, but I'll find them, okay? I'll be back in a minute. Don't worry!"
She did not mind because she was really worried. Ivelle slightly pushed him away and walked towards the dessert area. It was not that she did not trust Eva but knowing her character, she was absolutely untrustworthy. The existence of Blossom posed too many threats to the child she was carrying in her womb.
The restaurant was so big that Ivelle had to look at every corner around just to find Blossom choosing her desserts in front of the window in the dessert area. When she saw that everything was well, she breathed a sigh of relief. When Ivelle saw Eva taking pictures of Blossom on her phone, she frowned and took a few steps toward her. She grabbed her cell phone and deleted the photo.
"Miss Blakeley, my daughter, and her picture can't appear anywhere else without my permission."
Ivelle's sudden appearance let Eva stupefied for a moment and then looked at her with some grievances evident on her face. She said, "Ivelle, don't you think you are too big and trivial? I just looked at the cute look on your child's face when she was choosing her cake. I just wanted to take a picture. I did not want to do anything. You are thinking too much!"
"Oh, really!" Ivelle exclaimed and her voice was a little cold. She walked near Eva and grabbed her by the arm. She looked at her and said, "For your child's safety and your own's sake, please stay away from my daughter!"
She sneered and took back her phone. Eva looked at her and said, "If she was your child, I could figure it out. If you were not so attentive about anything to you then it was true, as has been said by the people outside, that Mr. Astley can't have a child. So now, you treat other people's children as your own."
Ivelle's face suddenly sank and it was covered with warm anger. "If you use your mouth in talking nonsense, I suggest you cut your tongue out so as not to pollute other people's ears."
"What?" Eva provoked, "Is it possible that these rumors are true? Ivelle Astley, wife of Jordan Astley, won't be able to give birth anymore?"
In her last sentence, Eva came close to Ivelle's ear and her voice was so low that she could hardly be heard by the people around her.
Ivelle sank her eyes and raised her hand. She slapped her without any slightest hesitation. It was not that hard but it was enough for her and for the words that she had said.
As soon as she slapped her, she covered her cheek and glared at Ivelle. "What? Why do you not want to talk about it?"
"Don't try me and my temper, Eva!" Ivelle opened her mouth to warn her by emphasizing every word and looked at her completely cold.
This made people in the restaurant look at them. They had inevitably attracted attention. Jordan and Brad came toward them.
