###Chapter 373 Stumbles Along -- Part 6
I was a little distracted. Maisie also seemed to like to wear high heels. At that time, we had no money. She bought cheap shoes with high heels that sharpened her toes. Every time she was in great pain, I would buy her a pair of slippers at the roadside stall. Then I laughed at her again and again, forcing her to change them for fear of hurting her, and then she would always complain that the slippers didn't match her character.
In a blink of an eye, it seemed that these things have passed for a long time, and they now just exist in our memory.
I got up, looked at her, and said, "Sit here and wait for me for a while!"
There were many stories in the mall, and it wasn't long before I came back. I handed her the shoebox and smiled and said, "I just looked for your size, and you're 37. This should fit."
She was surprised for a moment, took the box, opened it, looked at me, and said, "Did you really buy it for me?"
I nodded. "Although I don't know your favorite style, it should match your clothes. It's not a big brand, but it should be wearable."
She had tens of thousands of shoes, and I was really a little reluctant to give her anything. I haven't been to work since I came back from Primrose. I haven't swiped the bank card given to me by Jordan, so I have been using just my savings. I planned to find a part-time job after I was admitted to graduate school. In this way, there would be no more problem with my usual expenses.
She changed her shoes and looked at me with a smile that could not be concealed. "Ivelle, you know, you are the first woman to buy shoes for me. My brother is a big man and doesn't know how to appreciate beauty at all, so I never want him to buy them for me. I buy them myself. Zayn is also a manly person when I meet him. From childhood to adulthood, you are the first one to have bought shoes for me."
I smiled, knowing that the two old people of the Biden family have lived abroad all the time. Frida was the youngest daughter of the Boden family and she did not know much about the situation of her own family.
The only thing I knew is that Frida and Andrew Biden were brother and sister, but they knew nothing more about it.
"You can wear it and walk on it without sharpening your feet." I opened my mouth, and when I looked up, I saw the attractive Jordan. Dressed in black, his figure was long and slim, and his facial features were unparalleled. He was particularly eye-catching while walking in the shopping mall.
"The male sex is a disaster. He's too attractive, at it's too ostentatious." Frida muttered.
Seeing Jordan walking in, she couldn't help saying, "Jordan, can you do us a favor and keep a low profile in public next time. Someone is already taking pictures of you."
Fortunately, the people here were more rational and did not flock to him as if they were chasing stars.
Jordan smiled, his eyes fell on me, and his voice was deep yet friendly. "Are you tired? What did you buy?"
My hand was held by him, and it was very warm. I showed him the bag in my other hand and said awkwardly, "Just a few clothes."
Frida was in a good mood and smiled. "And a pair of shoes for me."
She also deliberately walked a few steps, looked at me, and said, "Don't say anything bad, these shoes are really easy to wear. I think they're actually much better than high heels."
I smiled and didn't say much.
Jordan looked at me, raised his eyebrows, held my hand a little tight, then picked up the bag on the ground. We finally walked away.
"Hey, Jordan, are you blind? Can't you see these bags?" Frida shouted behind him, almost grumpy.
Jordan didn't open his mouth and dragged me straight out of the mall like nothing happened.
I paused. "Anything else?" asked Jordan. He raised his eyebrow and his eyes fell not far away.
When I looked sideways behind us, I saw Zayn coming. I knew that Frida would be relieved, so I left with him.
His car was parked outside the mall and the black McLaren sports car was eye-catching.
"How can you drive this car?" The car had been in the parking lot for a long time and I was very intrigued by it, but I seldom ever see him drive it.
When I put the things in the trunk, I noticed that they all seemed to be the clothes that Frida chose for me. How did he know they were mine?
"Just open it!" In response, he pulled me into the car and said, "What do you want to eat?"
I suddenly remembered that I had met Kian in the mall out of the blue and said, "Kian told me that he was going to have dinner with us tonight!"
His lips flared and his black eyes sank.
He answered me, and then he leaned over and fastened my seat belt.
Frida and Zayn came out of the mall as well and said to me, "Ivelle, I'm going to have a candlelight dinner with my husband tonight, so I won't be with you. Thank you for your shoes. I like them very much. I'll invite you for a big dinner some other day."
I smiled and shook her hand. Jordan fastened my seat belt and bit me coldly on the chin.
I had a pain in my stomach, so I looked at him and said, "What's wrong?"
"You didn't give me a present!" No matter how it sounded, he seemed to be a little aggrieved.
I opened my mouth and said, "I'll buy for you some other time. What do you like?"
He smiled. "As long as you bought it, I like it."
I grinned at how childlike he was. I liked him much more when he was showing this side that wasn't visible to others.
Kian carefully chose the restaurant that served one of his personal favorite dishes, which is Mexican cuisine.
It did not seem to be suitable for winter, but he was craving for it anyway. Besides, it was expensive because it was light and delicious.
There were people, in addition to the three brothers. Kian took Nicole while Jordan took me.
When all the seats were taken, Kian took the lead and opened the night by saying, "I just went to the South to learn how to cook two days ago. I'm a good cook. You'll have a taste later."
Jordan used to always say a few words, but tonight, he just nodded and did not say much about what Kian announced.
Brad, of course, didn't say much. After Kian took a sip of water, no one was talking.
After the last time, Brad did not go to the villa to see Blossom. The reason should be what Jordan said to him.
The meal was extraordinarily silent, and Kian intended to keep the brothers as they used to be, but now they probably all felt awkward.
Kian called the waiter and asked him to serve the wine.
I replaced the tea with juice. Seeing that the waiter wanted to take away the juice cup from my hand, Jordan said, "She doesn't drink."
The waiter froze his hand and then took it back.
Kian picked his eyebrows carefully and didn't say much.
Brad's eyes fell on me, very lightly, but vaguely with a little displeasure.
I didn't know where this unhappiness came from, but it's not good.
"Do you remember what day it is today?" Kian spoke cautiously, obviously feeling a little depressed.
Jordan frowned and seemed to think of something else. Brad's eyes fell on him and said, "Did you go to see him?"
Kian nodded cautiously. "I went there last week. The weather in Hempstead was not cold. I sent him some fruit."
I didn't know who they were talking about. I couldn't help being silent.
Nicole, who had never opened her mouth throughout the meal, had a grim look in her eyes and glanced at Jordan and said, "Jordan, I bought my brother's house in Hempstead. I want to stay and live in the capital."
Jordan scratched eyebrows, obviously not in a good mood, and nodded faintly, "Well, you decide for yourself. If there is any need to be strict, I will take care of it."
