###Chapter 381 Buried Resentment – Part 5
Jordan Astley was ill-tempered when he asked, "Who did she scold?" As he asked this question, he carelessly put the chopped vegetables into the pot. He was feeling gloomy.
Felix Stewart raised his hand, touched his nose, and replied, "That bitch!"
Jordan's eyebrows sank. He stopped what he was currently doing and replied neither lightly nor seriously, "Huh!"
The emotion was very weak, but anyone who knew him could easily tell that he was angry.
Felix washed his hands and asked, "What do I need to do?"
Jordan didn't want to explain. Instead, he asked Felix, "Do you know what a woman cares about most in her life?"
Felix was stunned for a moment as he thought about it. But when he saw that there was no reaction from Jordan, he paused and guessed, "Appearance?"
With his black eyes, Jordan smiled clearly. But his expression was still particularly cold.
"Only by destroying what she cares about most would a woman learn her lesson."
Felix raised his eyebrow and said, "I get it!"
As he pulled the tissue aside, Felix dried his hands and took his cell phone to leave.
Meanwhile, Jordan removed the pot from the gas stove and looked at it calmly. He told Felix, "After all, she is a woman. Have a little mercy and say hello to Jun. If she cares, then you can give her a lesson. If she doesn't care, then I'll leave it up to you to do whatever you deem is necessary."
Felix nodded and went out of the kitchen.
Because Ivelle Astley was in the living room not far away from the two, she had heard their entire conversation. Felix was surprised to see Ivelle when he went out, but in a moment, he smiled and greeted her, "Ma'am!"
And then he left.
Meanwhile, Ivelle just stood in the same place and then saw Jordan coming out of the kitchen. His eyes fell on her and saw that she was barefoot. He frowned and asked, "Why are you not wearing any shoes?"
Ivelle opened her mouth and replied, "Just now, I was in a hurry to go downstairs. That's why I forgot."
He then lifted her in his arms and sent her back to her bedroom.
When Ivelle was ready to go downstairs again, she grabbed her clothes. Jordan looked back at her with a smile on his face and asked, "What's the matter?"
She replied, "I'm thirsty." The truth was, she went downstairs to drink water. She did not expect to hear the conversation between Jordan and Felix.
Jordan nodded and said, "Okay. Just wait a minute."
After Ivelle had finished drinking water, Jordan directly brought up the cooked food and put it in front of Ivelle. His words were gentle as he told her, "Eat and have a good sleep, okay?"
Ivelle nodded. She did not bother to ask about the conversation she had heard downstairs.
Although she had said earlier that she was hungry, she did not even eat a few mouthfuls. She had lost her appetite.
Upon seeing that Ivelle didn't eat, Jordan frowned and asked her, "You don't like it?"
Ivelle shook her head, moved her body into his arms, and sighed slightly before saying, "I think it is delicious. But I don't seem to be hungry anymore."
He didn't force Ivelle to eat. He knew that if she ate too much, she would just vomit it all out.
He really did know her better than Ivelle knew herself.
Through the silence that ensued, the two of them just sat with each other. No one opened their mouth.
Soon, Jordan fell asleep vaguely. When he noticed that he was holding Ivelle's hand and that he was holding her in his arms, he said in a low and magnetic voice, "Ivelle, I'm sorry!"
The voice was so vague that Ivelle went back to sleep.
The following day...
It was rare to see Liam Weld visit the villa. But he came alone and brought something.
And most of the stuff he brought were for Blossom.
Seeing that Ivelle's face was pale and ill, he ignored Ivelle's words and said directly, "Otherwise, go back to live with the Weld Family."
Although the Weld Family house was located in the city center, there was an army guarding it and the place was managed by their team. Any reporters would be punished by the law if they went in accidentally or unknowingly.
Ivelle shook her head. Today, she stayed at home and didn't go to school with Blossom. The little girl seemed to like what Liam brought. Ivelle just looked at it carefully as she couldn't put it down or even unpack it.
When she suddenly thought of Blair Wilde, she couldn't help but frown and ask Liam, "Have you seen Blair?"
Liam was slightly shocked at the question, but he faintly said, "Yes."
Because she knew how perfunctory he could be, Ivelle's head ached. She asked him, "Liam if you do not love her, why don't you just let her leave? If you don't have any regard for her, why do you still let her linger around you? What are you going to do after she gave birth to the child?"
Liam frowned, raised his hand, pinched the center of his eyebrow, and sighed. He then looked at Ivelle and said, "Ivelle, will you stay out of this? When Blair gives birth to a child, you can be assured that I will hold myself responsible for her. I will not do anything wrongfully to her."
Ivelle was silent for a long time. Then she looked at him and asked, "Do you like that Michelle Remington?"
He twisted his eyebrow slightly and replied, "It was just for fun. Do not think too much about it."
Suddenly, Blossom opened her mouth and said, "Mom, uncle met my grandmother when he picked me up. Grandma told me that she'll come and see me in a few days."
Ivelle was stupefied for a moment. She couldn't help but look at Liam and then asked him in disbelief, "Grandma?"
Liam nodded and replied, "It's Erin. She is now working on a charitable foundation. I saw her at Blossom's school and I simply greeted her."
Ivelle pursed her lips and stopped talking.
The truth was if no one would mention it, it was as if she could almost forget her relationship with Erin.
When Liam saw Ivelle's silence, he hesitated for a moment before he told her, "I know you blame her in your heart, but she gave birth to you and searched for you all her life. There were a lot of uncontrollable events that happened in the past, Ivelle. She maybe bearing more pain than you."
Ivelle pursed her lips as she held the cup in her hand. She replied, "Liam when I first saw her in the Pear Orchard, Brad Silverman said that my eyebrows and eyes were very similar to her. When I got home that day, I looked in the mirror for a long time and thought, if my mother hadn't left me, then her eyebrows could have been as old as hers."
"When I was very young, my grandmother told me that I was a dandelion. And like a dandelion, as I was held in the palm of my mother's hand, I was accidentally blown away by the wind. And the moment that the wind blew me away, I got separated from my mother. That was why when I met my grandmother, I never resented her. Although Grandma was the one who raised me, she never told me that I was abandoned. She would just tell me that I was just a child blown away by the wind."
Blossom looked at Ivelle. The little girl moved against Ivelle's leg and comforted her, "Mom, it's all right. You still have me."
And with that, Ivelle smiled as if she didn't feel any pain in her heart.
As she continued to look at Liam, Ivelle continued to say, "So, I never resented her for losing me. After I found out that Nicole Blakeley was the daughter she was looking for, for so many years, I actually envied her. She gladly maintained, cultivated, and spoiled Nicole. And I found myself feeling envious of Nicole for having such a mother who could be kind to her by all means. But I didn't expect that because of Nicole, Erin would hurt me by any means."
Then Ivelle laughed as she tried to think that all these were funny.
As Liam was looking at her, he felt the distress in her eyes. He took a deep breath and told her, "Ivelle, you should not live in the past alone, should you?"
Ivelle knew that people shouldn't live in the past all the time. But despite that fact, the pain and the wounds she was harboring still existed.
"But I dare not hate her, nor blame her. Because I know that she and I are related by blood. I buried all the pain and decided to just forget all about it." Then she looked at Liam. She could feel her heart hurt as if a cat was scratching it. She continued to say, "Liam, I'm not so magnanimous. But do you know why I don't want to see you ignore Blair? Because I used to be very much like her, we were both very humbly in love."
