###Chapter 390 A Wedding And A Proposal Part – 3
Ivelle smiled. Truly, there were many definitions of life fulfillment. When she married Jordan back then, her grandmother was already dead. So she went to him alone.
Meanwhile, it seemed that Andrew Biden heard this remark. He looked sideways at Ivelle with a little apology in his eyes.
The music played and Ivelle didn't hear what she said.
The long red carpet had short red roses on both sides and there were glittering white balloons on all sides. The scene looked romantic without losing the ritual of a classical wedding.
Zayn Heather waited at the entrance of the wedding hall. Andrew gave him Frida Biden's hand and said earnestly, "My sister, I am now giving her to you so you may have a fruitful future together."
Zayn nodded and the warm smile on his face fell on Frida. His eyes were both deep and distant.
And it felt like ten thousand years at a glance.
Ivelle subconsciously looked at the crowd and immediately saw Jordan at a glance.
There were many peacocks and phoenixes among the people at the wedding, and although she wasn't familiar with all those people, she could still see him at first sight despite the sea of people around him.
After the wedding ceremony was over, the couple knelt at their parents with the brazier in the background.
After paying homage, Frida chose the peacock and phoenix bracelets to exchange gifts.
Andrew, who was an old man, was Frida's eldest brother. He was like a father to Frida and her eldest sister-in-law was like her mother. Both Andrew and Erin bowed to Frida.
While she was still lost in her own thoughts, Ivelle has suddenly pulled Frida as she said to her, "Come on, someone wants to give you something."
Ivelle was dumbfounded and asked, "What?"
Frida dragged her to the flower pool behind the hotel as she said, "Just come with me."
As Ivelle looked at the white Platycodon grandiflorum all over the yard, she was stunned. So she asked Frida, "Where did all these Platycodon grandiflorum flowers come from given that it is winter season?"
It was December. It would be impossible to find these flowers that only bloom in the middle of summer.
Frida blinked, looked at Ivelle, and replied, "Because someone had been planning since July. These flowers had been cultivated in the greenhouse. Just to tell you, do you know what the flower Platycodon grandiflorum means?"
Ivelle thought about it and said, "Eternal love, or desperate love. Brad Silverman put this flower in front of the tombstone of Maisie Rogers."
Frida pursed her lips impatiently, looked at Ivelle, and asked, "Can't you see that these are all white Platycodon grandiflorum flowers?"
Ivelle nodded and replied, "I know. What did I say wrong?"
Frida told her, "Don't you still get it? 'I only love you all my life,' that was what these white Platycodon grandiflorum flowers meant to tell you."
Ivelle looked at her in disbelief. She couldn't help but squint at her and say, "Aren't you married? Are you going to confess your love to me?"
Frida weakly slapped her forehead in disbelief. She teased Ivelle, "Ivelle, I didn't know you are such a slow head."
When Ivelle saw that Frida was about to leave, she grabbed her and asked, "What's the matter?"
She replied, "I'll get something. You wait for me here." And with that, she man ran away.
Ivelle just stood in the backyard and looked at the white Platycodon grandiflorum in the yard. In all honesty, it all looked beautiful for her.
She was vaguely aware of the snowflakes falling. She was stunned for a moment and then looked up to see the snowflakes that were suddenly floating in the sky.
It was her first time to see the Platycodon grandiflorum flowers in the presence of white snowflakes. It was indeed a sight to behold given that the two existed at two extremely opposite seasons.
"Seven years ago, you said at the gate of the Madrid Library that it was impossible to see Platycodon grandiflorum and snowflakes in other places except in the Kunlun Mountains. But I thought that if I worked hard, I would be able to keep you from going to Kunlun just to see that."
Behind Ivelle came the low magnetic voice of Jordan. She was stunned for a moment before she finally turned around to see him. He was holding a white Platycodon grandiflorum in his hand.
Ivelle couldn't help but thought that these flowers were made by him. Otherwise, there could be no flowers that would adorn the wedding.
Ivelle shallowly smiled as she raised her hand and took the Platycodon grandiflorum from Jordan's hand. She sheepishly told him, "I am a little flattered that you are so suddenly romantic."
He smiled and replied, "Well, now it seems that I need to be romantic more often in the future."
She asked him, "Why are you suddenly getting these things for me?" As she said this, she saw that the snowflakes had gotten a little big. She then dragged Jordan to the eaves of the house.
He looked up and looked at the bigger snowflakes as he asked her, "Do you like it?"
Ivelle replied, "I like it. It's beautiful!" Ivelle thought that it was good that she left the place for him in her heart.
A cold bouquet of red roses was placed in front of her and she was stunned for a moment. She didn't react. Then she saw Jordan who was initially standing in front of her, kneeling on one knee.
Ivelle froze.
There was a noise from one side. She looked sideways and saw Frida and Zayn standing on the other side.
Even the people who attended the party came and watched as Jordan took the ring box out of his pocket and open it in front of her.
Ivelle was completely stunned as she thought, 'Is he proposing?'
"Ivelle, I owed you a marriage proposal seven years ago. Is it too late to make up for it now?"
Ivelle was even more surprised. But she was naturally moved and felt an indescribable warmth in her heart. She couldn't help but ask, "Aren't we already married?"
Jordan replied, "Who said that I cannot propose because we're married? Can you only do romantic things once? Besides, it wasn't traditional for a girl to propose. That's what Frida told me."
Frida who was standing aside said in a loud voice, "Jordan, the president of the Astley Group, we have not yet heard you say those three important words. Aren't you going to say them now?"
In front of Jordan's clear-eyes, Ivelle could see that he was indeed very handsome. She blushed a little before the crowd and reached for the ring.
As she was held by him and was about to wear the ring on her fingers, he looked at her with warm eyes and said, "Ivelle, all I want in this life is to be with you."
Jordan did not tell her 'I love you.' He opted to tell her that he wanted to be with her all his life. And it seemed to be more appropriate for both of them.
Ivelle smiled and reached out to pull him up.
Frida thought that they were too insipid and nagged, "Why are you two acting like an old couple after decades without a little passion? Can't you at least say something nice or romantic?"
Ivelle smiled and said, "Along the stream of water, where love is so vigorous."
Indeed, love was in the silent details. Ivelle saw both Erin and Andrew standing beside each other as they both looked at her with teary eyes.
Ivelle was slightly stunned when she suddenly remembered the phone call wherein Erin told her, "Ivelle, I am your mother."
The word mother was too rusty in her memory. In fact, if she didn't think about it fully, she could almost forget that everyone had a mother.
When Jordan saw that she was suddenly distracted, he stretched out his hand, hugged her tightly, and asked, "Is there something wrong?"
Ivelle curtly replied, "No."
The sky darkened. Because the wedding ceremony was over, the dinner at the hotel began.
Just now, Ivelle was thinking that Jordan's proposal seemed to be arranged by Frida. But rather than being ostentatious, she still preferred something plain and light.
The wedding was grand and the people who came were all famous and aristocratic. There were a lot of people at the dinner party. They all greeted each other and made a toast.
Just now, Jordan's proposal made many people wonder about Ivelle's identity. After several scandals, Jordan had protected her privacy as much as possible.
But with an event as big as this, and in the presence of the Biden Family members and Jordan as the President of the Astley Group, it was inevitable that they would attract other people's attention.
There was a flicker of neon lights at the party, and the direction was directed at Ivelle and Jordan. She subconsciously bowed her head.
He heard Jordan's low voice in her ear as he asked, "Nervous?"
It was an understatement to say that she was not nervous. But fortunately, she managed to stay calm and replied, "There are a lot of people."
Jordan smiled and said, "There are always too many people at the Biden Family's banquets. Don't think too much about it. We have to face them."
Ivelle nodded. But as her hand was held by Jordan, someone came forward and said, "Hello, Miss Ivelle."
