###Chapter 403 Ginger Is Still Old And Spicy - Part 5
Alice Astley answered lightly and I handed her the roasted meat slices. I handed her the sauce and introduced it, "It tastes better when dipped in it."
She smiled, did it, then nodded and commented that I had a point, "Not bad."
When it was getting dark, Alice ordered us to leave already. "My house is small and I can't accommodate both of you. I have enough to eat and drink, so just go home."
Jordan Astley smiled and after saying goodbye, he pulled me into the car.
On the way back to the villa, I stared at the scenery outside the window in a daze.
Looking at the twinkling scenery outside the car, I couldn't help saying, "Jordan, thank you."
Then in the dim light of the road, he smiled and said, "Thank you. It's too casual. I'd like a love word if I can."
I smiled, and my eyes caught a glimpse of the beauty of time. He tilted his head and thought carefully about the love words, and his eyes stared on my face flashed by the shadow of the lamp.
A loving word written to Jordan should be thought twice, be cautious, and or he'll lose his mind.
The car stopped at the door of the villa. That time when we arrived home was very quiet.
When he got out of the car, he stood up and walked up to me. "Have you made up your mind?"
I laughed, "No, I always feel that you are embarrassing me, you know, I can't say love words."
"You can try!"
I thought about it, looked up at the sky, then I looked down on his face and smiled, "Sir you are my resolute dream in my long life."
He was stupefied, then smiled and dragged me into the villa in high spirits.
"Where did you get it?"
Obviously, this was what he was asking, the love words. I looked up and pointed to the starry night sky. "I picked it from the sky."
If you have the ability to love, you must love hard and give him your beauty and joy so that you will not regret it for the rest of your life.
The next day,
Alice called and asked nothing else, but said, "Have you taken your medicine?"
I was stupefied for a moment, then realized that yesterday she said that I had a strong nasal voice and that I had a cold and she wanted me to take medicine.
I nodded and said, "I've eaten and I've taken the medicine."
"The New year is coming soon. Since it is New Year's Day, there must be a New Year's Day appearance. Go out with me later and let us buy some things when we go back."
She spoke in a commanding tone and not really friendly.
I nodded and answered.
Jordan says he has something to do. I can't always follow him.
After a brief tidying up, Sister Finn was no longer in the house, so I drove directly to the mall.
Alice was waiting at the door of the shopping mall. When she saw me, she opened her mouth and complained, "I can do it all by myself, you can just say it if you don't want to come over."
Taking the cart from her hand, I glanced at the supermarket not far away and said, "Let's go to the supermarket?"
She tilted her mouth, nodded, and went straight in.
Following her, she was not like a lady, but more like a nagging middle-aged woman who bought some necessities. She looked back at me and said, "Can you cook a delicious dish?"
I shook my head and said, "No!"
She frowned. "I usually eat a delicious meal every year for the Spring Celebration. If you can't cook anything, what should we eat for Spring Celebration?"
"Let's just buy anything that is delicious." I opened my mouth and saw that there were some meat and other spices in front of her. I was a little skeptical that she was going to like and buy it for our Spring Celebration meal.
"Other people can't make their own delicious food." As I thought, she put them in the shopping cart.
I was supposed to say something
Forget it.
Let's live with it whatever comes in our life.
After two hours had passed,
After instructing the distributor to send the things back to the villa, Alice took me to the Latin restaurant.
The reason is that I was rewarded for shopping with her.
"It's hard to eat authentic Latin flavor in Madrid, but their place is good, so you can have a good taste later." As soon as she sat down, Alice opened her mouth.
While ordering for food, she said to me, "When I didn't come to the capital, I liked the Latin restaurant in Hempstead University Town Road best. Later, when I came to the capital, I never went to it. Every time I wanted to eat, I looked everywhere in the capital. But for so many years, I haven't seen many authentic ones in the capital. This one is not bad. Try it."
There was a strong sense of homesickness in her words.
Yes, after the age of 18, her time and life were in the capital already. Memories about her home were beginning to fade away. Indeed, memories of our childhood can only be cherished again in our hearts.
As I liked the dessert, I recalled in my memory that grandma used to have different candies in her pocket. As long as I was aggrieved or cried, one of her candy can make my grievance disappear.
Now the memory of people in our lives seemed to just walk away, scatter, and almost disappear. The only thing that can be recalled is sweetness.
When the waiter served our food, I got up and said, "Auntie, I'm going to wash my hands."
After walking around in the supermarket for a long time just now, it was inevitable that she would also catch some dust. And so, she got up and joined me.
On the way back, I stopped by the bathroom and she went straight back to her seat.
When I returned to the dinner table again, I saw an acquaintance I hadn't seen for a long time, Nicole Blakeley.
"Auntie, I'm too busy to see you these days. You seem to have lost weight recently." This remark came from Nicole.
She had two strangers with her. I didn't know them. They were probably her friends.
After all, she was not the one who tore her face. Alice nodded and smiled. "You are a child with a sweet mouth, fat and thin, not all the same."
Nicole smiled and said, "In a few days, I'll see you when I'm free."
Intimate and friendly, the atmosphere was harmonious.
My presence was bound to be inappropriate.
In hesitation, Alice said, "Ivelle, come here, the dishes are all served."
Ivelle?
I was rarely called by my name, and it has almost never that I've been called by that except for intimate friends and relatives.
I walked to the table and looked at Nicole with almost cold black eyes.
I can see that she's jealous.
However, I just proceeded and I took a seat.
Alice added the delicious dishes to my bowl and said, "The taste of their home-made is the most authentic. If you taste it, you will like it."
I nodded and didn't say much.
Seeing that Nicole had no intention of leaving, Alice still smiled and said, "Miss Blakeley, do you want to eat with us? I ordered a lot. If you don't mind, you can join us."
The former sentence was rusty. After all, Miss Blakeley was polite and distant enough to open up the relationship.
The second half of the sentence was warm and sincere, I heard it, it was a sincere invitation, not perfunctory, the meaning of which was not clear.
Nicole was slightly stupefied, but she was impolite. She sat next to Alice and said affectionately, "Auntie, you also like Latin flavor. Later, we can come together, and I like it very much."
Alice smiled, picked up food for her, put down the spoon and fork in her hand, and her slender palm fell on the back of Nicole's hand. She patted her softly and opened her mouth, saying, "My child, it's a blessing for you to call me an aunt with caution, but after all, you are not really my niece nor relative. In the future, you'd better call me an aunt!"
These words, though gently said, did not lose strength.
Nicole's face stiffened a bit, but she still smiled and said, "My brother and I have always been closer than our relatives all these years. He called you an aunt, but naturally, I can't be rusty. Calling you an aunt is my admiration and love."
