###Chapter 431 - Everyone's Soul Is Half-Human and Half-Ghost – Part 10
After four hours.
This was the first time Ivelle Astley came to Medford. Unlike the prosperity of the capital, Medford brought luxury and elegance.
If a woman was used to describe it, the capital was an aristocratic lady in the palace, dignified and beautiful, with a prominent status.
On the other hand, Medford was a new era lady, with an enchanting figure, advanced vision and picky eyes.
In Medford, there was also snow. However, different from the capital, it only occurred twice a year or at most three times.
When Ivelle Astley got off the plane, she took a taxi straight to Silverman family mansion. Without the embellishment of snowflakes, the trees on the green belts on both sides of Medford appeared to be withered and depressed, vaguely revealing a bit of bleak air.
The Silverman family in Medford, is a true old nobility and had three generations of wealth. It had a luxury mansion which was particularly eye-catching.
The driver was surprised when he heard that she was going to the Silverman family mansion. He reconfirmed it several times, "Girl, what is your relationship with the Silverman family?"
However, Ivelle just looked out the window and curled her lips. "It doesn't matter."
The driver was stupefied for a moment, but kindly reminded, "The Silverman family can be regarded as a famous aristocrat in Spain. This kind of big family is picky about girls. I'm afraid it's not appropriate for you to enter so rashly!"
He was obviously afraid that she would be regarded as an ignorant woman clinging to a rich family.
Ivelle Astley just pursed her lips without explanation.
The car was parked outside the Silverman family mansion. The driver looked at Ivelle and said apologetically, "Miss, the Silverman family can go in through this gate, but if you want to go in, you'd better ask the people inside. The Silverman family is huge. If you want to get in, you have to ask someone to drive over and pick you up."
Ivelle Astley nodded, paid the fare, and thanked the driver.
Indeed, as the driver said, if she wanted to enter the Silverman family mansion, there must be a consent from the owner, and then they would send someone to pick her up before she could enter.
The security guard stopped her, told her the situation, looked at her and said, "Miss, you'd better call and ask the Silverman family to send someone to pick you up."
When she got out of her cell phone, she saw that Jordan Astley had made several missed calls and text messages.
She did not answer him but directly called Brad Silverman's phone number again. Fortunately, this time, he answered.
"Ivelle!"
"I'm in Medford, at the gate of Silverman's family mansion. Give me back Blossom, I'll take her back."
On the other end of the phone, Brad Silverman did not open his mouth. However, the more silent he was, the stronger the fear in her heart.
She admitted that she only came by coincidence. The capital and Medford are so far away that maybe Jon didn't know exactly what happened.
Maybe, Blossom just ran out to play for a while. Then, Jon misheard and misunderstood.
She couldn't stand his long silence, finally opened her mouth and shouted, "Brad Silverman, I said that I want to see Blossom. I want to take my daughter back to the capital. Did you hear that?"
He spoke in a low voice, and said, "I'm behind you."
She froze, looked back, and saw that his face was full of vicissitudes and weariness. It was obvious that he had just arrived here.
He was still holding the phone in his hand besides his ear. When Brad Silverman saw Ivelle Astley looking back, he slowly put down the phone and looked at her, remorseful and emotionally complex.
When Ivelle Astley did not see Blossom by his side, she forced to hold back the panic in her heart. She then looked at him and said, "Brad Silverman, where is Blossom?"
Brad Silverman opened his mouth and gasped. He walked towards her; his mood stabilized.
He opened his mouth and said, "Go inside first."
A black Bentley was parked at the gate. He looked at Ivelle Astley and said, "Go inside."
Ivelle Astley pursed her lips and got in the car.
She knew that the Silverman family was prosperous and grand, but the so-called prosperity was actually bigger than she thought.
There were still more than ten minutes' drive from Silverman family mansion's gate. Along the way, there was a park and natural scenery. However, because it was winter, the maple leaves on the side of the road had fallen.
It looked more depressed and desolate.
On the car, Brad Silverman's phone rang. According to his tone, it should be Jordan Astley.
He said a few words then looked at Ivelle Astley. He then handed her the phone, and said, "A phone call for you."
She pursed her lips and glanced at him. Instead of reaching for it, she chose to ignore it.
Then, Brad Silverman paused, withdrew the phone, and said to the microphone, "Call later!"
She didn't know what the other end of the phone said. Brad Silverman hung up the phone, and the car was silent again.
When the car parked in front of a row of foreign houses, several neatly dressed people came out, they looked like servants hired by the Silverman family.
When Brad Silverman got out of the car, someone came forward, opened his mouth, and said to him, "Little Young Master!"
Brad Silverman nodded. He looked at Ivelle Astley and said, "Go in."
Then, he looked at the middle-aged man and said, "Prepare a room for Miss Astley."
The middle-aged man nodded and left.
Brad Silverman and Ivelle Astley entered the villa, where no less than a dozen middle-aged men and women sat in the hall. There were also two elderly people who sat in the middle of the hall.
As they saw them going in, several people looked at them.
First, a middle-aged woman who was a little thin came forward and said, "Brad, have you found the child already?"
Hearing this, Ivelle's relaxed nerves suddenly tightened.
Her body trembled a little as she stood in the same place. "So, Blossom was really lost?"
Her brain was buzzing. She was forced to endure the stress reaction of her body. She then looked at Brad Silverman and waited for his answer.
As Brad Silverman notice her reaction, he frowned. His face was still tired, opened his mouth, and said with some difficulty, "I have sent everyone out to look for her. Also, the police have put on record that nothing will happen to Blossom!"
Ivelle Astley suddenly slapped him in the face. Although she only had little strength, she still used enough strength to hit Brad Silverman in the face, loud enough for everyone to hear.
For a moment, all the people in the hall looked at her, some looked at her angrily, some frowned, while others watched the scene.
"Who are you? Why do you hit people casually?" The one who came out to speak was a girl in her twenties.
Ivelle Astley looked at her but did not open her mouth. She just looked at Brad Silverman, suppressed her anger and said, "Brad Silverman, you'd better pray that she is safe all the year round. Otherwise, I will spare no effort to make you and even the whole Silverman family embarrassed for the rest of your lives."
"What a big tone this lady has!" The man who spoke was the old man sitting in the middle of the hall, with a strong voice and resolute eyebrows.
It was clear at a glance that when he was young, he must have been a person who wielded authority.
Ivelle Astley looked at the imposing old man, who was more than eighty years old, his eyes were bright and imposing.
She smiled, her facial expression was well controlled, "Don't you want to wait and see?"
"Presumptuous!" The old man opened his mouth, and the cup on the table had been knocked to the ground.
It looked like he was very angry.
For a moment, the others were too silent to speak. The old man looked at her, his eyes were full of anger and coldness. If anything went wrong, he might tear her to pieces in a moment.
