###Chapter 462 Later People Are Lost - Part 3
She opened her mouth as if she wanted to say something, but in the end, the words are just held back. "Take good care of yourself."
It's night.
When Jordan came back, it was already midnight. Ivelle fell asleep and felt him went to bed.
Because she was too sleepy, Ivelle didn't ask him how things were going.
When she got up in the morning, he had already gone out.
Sister Finn knocked on the door and said. "Ma'am, are you awake? I've cooked it early. When your husband went out in the morning, he said to me that you should come up and send the clothes to be washed."
Ivelle nodded and led her into the bedroom. Then, she went to the bathroom to fix herself.
She washed all the clothes on weekdays, and I didn't worry much. Ivelle tied her hair and went into the bathroom.
Seeing that she was sorting out the clothes Jordan changed yesterday, she was shocked to see her.
Instinctively, Ivelle looked over and saw a bright red lipstick on the collar of his white shirt.
"Ma'am, Sir Jordan may--." Sister Finn spoke, felt a little embarrassed for a moment.
Ivelle smiled and said. "It's all right. I may have rubbed it by accident. I'll send it to be washed."
Ivelle felt uncomfortable that she kept her head down and continued to brush her teeth. After that, she washed her face like nothing happened. She knows in her heart what kind of person Jordan is after getting along with each other for many years.
Ivelle still trusted him in the matter of men and women, so as not to doubt him because of this.
Sister Finn breathed a sigh of relief, packed her clothes, and went out.
After a few steps, she came back. He stood outside the door and said. "Ma'am, sir is not like that, don't think about it."
Ivelle smiled. "I've known him for eight years. I still have some trust in who he is."
She breathed a sigh of relief and went out of the bedroom.
After breakfast, Ivelle asked Sister Finn to take good care of Blossom. She went straight to the place where Blair lived.
She hasn't seen her for nearly half a year. Ivelle went to the mall on the way and picked out a jade lock and a pile of silver bracelets. Her ancestors said that jade nourishes the heart and silver nourishes the body, and it is right to send for the nourishment of the children.
When Ivelle went to their house, he saw her child who was less than one year old, and cried sadly while Blair coaxed the baby in her arms.
When she saw Ivelle, she was stunned for a moment. She handed the child over to the babysitter and walked towards me. "Why didn't you tell me in advance. I should've picked you up and have dinner."
I smiled. "I didn't go out until I ate." Her eyes fell on the child and she couldn't help saying. "Are you hungry?"
She sighed slightly and complained. "That child always cries. It was as if he wasn't a boy and cries about everything. I am subdued, he's more delicate than a girl."
As she looked at the happiness on her face, Ivelle couldn't help but envy her and said. "Child his age is always the same. They will come a time that you'll wish they won't grow older."
Ivelle couldn't help but want to hug the kid, but in the end, she just handed her the gift.
Blair nagged at her for a while, then help her sat me in the living room while they chatted about trifles and random things.
On the way back, Ivelle didn't know where to go for a while. She saw an old man buying roasted corn in the roadside alley. She couldn't help feeling that the scene was familiar.
She simply went forward and asked for a bag of corn. The old man smiled and said. "Girl, there are sweet potatoes and corn. Why don't you take one of them?"
Looking at his dark and kind face, she couldn't help but nod. "That's good, please give me one of those!"
She was a little embarrassed when she paid. Ivelle didn't have a wallet in her bag. She only has her mobile phone and a few bank cards and forgot to bring any cash for many years.
The old man seemed to see her embarrassment and said with a smile. "It doesn't matter. I'm here every day. If you pass by at any day, I will be here in the same spot."
Ivelle looked down at the nearly ten dollars in her hand and could not help but gave it back to the old man's hand. She was sorry. "I don't have any cash. I'm sorry that I'm going to trouble you."
The old man didn't answer and said with a smile. "Girl, if you don't mind that your old man is dirty, you can take it as if I invited you. In that way, you will come here often in the future."
There is always no way to refuse the kindness of others. Ivelle nodded and held the paper bag in her hand.
After bending over to say thank you, she carried the paper bag and found a place to sit down in the alley as she ate both sweet potatoes and corn.
The baked bright yellow potatoes were scrumptious. As she ate it, she can't help but think of familiar memories of her childhood.
The land in Primrose is abundant. Every year when the spring rainfalls, her grandmother will plant one or two seeds of corn in the field. She would turn the soil, sow, fertilize and loosen the soil. Ivelle would plant with her before the Tomb Sweeping festival every year. When she comes back, Ivelle would dig some fresh potatoes and cook them back.
Sometimes it will be baked in the fire, and after it is cooked, the black outer layer will be scraped off with broken tiles. Then, it would reveal the golden potato meat, which is very fragrant. After dipping it in chili sauce, the person who will eat it will always feel that it is the real delicacy in the whole wide world.
At that time, grandma would put the black ash on her hands on her nose. She would smile at me and said to Ivelle. "In the future, if our little Ivelle gets married, grandma will bring you these and turn them into black potatoes."
The remnants of her memory burned through her eyes that made her tears welled up. The passersby in the alley saw her cry. They are moved by compassion and sent her paper towels to appease her.
"Girl, the road to life is so long, no matter what difficulties we encounter, let's stick to it, try our best, and it will all pass after a while. After that, we'll start all over again after crying!"
After taking the tissue, Ivelle nodded and gave him the potatoes in her hand. She smiled and said, "Thank you!"
She didn't take a taxi. Ivelle just wanted to take a walk in a place where the sun was mottled.
Jordan called and said. "Can we have lunch together?"
She looked up and felt as if it was getting hot in the Capital. Ivelle raised her hand to block the rays with her fingertips in front of her eyes and looked at the mottled leaves through her fingertips.
"I want to see my aunt."
He gave a slight sigh and said. "Sister Finn said you didn't drive when you went out. Take a taxi and be safe."
Ivelle nodded and answered with a hum. "Hmm!"
When she hung up the phone, the time was already noon. She took a taxi and went to the southern suburbs.
It's not too far. When she got to the yard, Alice was getting ready for dinner.
As soon as she saw Ivelle, she was stupefied for a moment. Her expression mirrored with some surprise but paused for a while. "You are just in time."
With that, she got up and took another pair of bowls and chopsticks.
She looked at Ivelle and said. "Let's go!"
She smiled, sat down at the table, and said. "It's a success."
After lunch, she said she would take a walk and eat in the afternoon, so she dragged her around the house.
Many families are living nearby, and a young woman came out to bask in the sun with the child in her arms. She likes it very much and kept on trying and teased the child.
When someone left, Alice pulled her and looked forward to saying. "You and Jordan should hurry up and have one quickly. I'm not working now, so I'm waiting to take care of your children."
As she spoke of that, Alice looked at Ivelle and thought. "Both you and Jordan are so beautiful, and the child that you'll give birth to him must be very beautiful, too. Your future child must be even cuter than when Jordan was a kid."
She smiled as she thought so.
Ivelle smiled, but her heart was bitter.
When she went back to the house and saw her carrying her clothes to the backyard, Ivelle couldn't help but followed her.
When she saw that she washed clothes by hand, Ivelle crouched beside her and washed with her.
She declined several times but sighed when she saw that Ivelle didn't respond. "These clothes are all branded and needs to be hand-washed or dry-cleaned. It's too far to go to the laundry. Even if I have nothing to do, I wash them myself."
