###Chapter 511 Try To Fall In Love In Another Way – Part 9
I was pulled out by Grace Cross, and Jordan is holding me on the other side of my arm.
He frowned, "Ivelle, can we go to another place than here and talk?" In a crowded city like this, his remarkable height and appearance are noticeable, and we are getting the attention of the people around.
Grace Cross, who has a bad temper, looked at him and said, "Say what? You yelled at her before you figured it out, and there's nothing more for you to talk about."
After a pause, she added, "And oh, also, Mr. Astley, don't think you can do whatever you want only just because you are good-looking."
I kind of think Grace Cross may not have figured out the situation.
After a slight pause, I could not help saying, "Grace Cross, can you go back to the car and wait for me for a moment? I have something to talk to him about."
She nodded and looked at Jordan and said, "Mr. Astley, no matter what Rafaela Shannon told to you just now, you don't have to believe any of it! That woman is full of evil spirits and indifferences. In fact, she is sick to death. You must not believe what she said."
"Grace Cross, what are you talking about?" Said Rafaela Shannon, who came out of the restaurant rushed up directly towards Grace Cross, and got into a fight with her without even thinking about it.
The two women fought each other regardless of how they look like, and Grace Cross was wearing high heels.
She took it off and hit Rafaela Shannon with the tip of her shoe. "Rafaela Shannon, if I find you slandering Ivelle again, I'm not done with you. I've seen a lot of green tea and white lotus flowers. It is my first time to see someone so ugly and old like you. If Ivelle hadn't saved you, you would not know which river in Venezuela you are floating right now!" Grace Cross fought and scolded her at the same time, and the two women have been attracting a lot of people. But Rafaela Shannon is not as soft as she appears to be. She pulled Grace Cross's hair and hurled it abusively. "Do you think she only saved me? Are you dead? She didn't save you? Grace Cross, do you think she thinks highly of you when you follow her around like a dog? I'm telling you, you're just wishful thinking, and she's just trying to take advantage of you."
The two fought and scolded at the same time, and none of the outsiders attempted to intervene through at this time, a large number of people were gathered outside, and everyone stood by to watch the hustle and bustle.
I looked at Jordan and saw that he just looked at me indifferently and seemed to pay attention to me all the time.
"Let Felix Stewart separate them, will you?" Although Grace Cross is fierce, she has limited physical strength. If it goes on like this, she will definitely suffer.
Jordan glanced at Felix Stewart and then pulled me into the car.
Before I could struggle, the man has pinned me down by the car seat.
"Jordan, you-"
"Shut up." He spoke in a low, introverted voice.
The car rushed to leave the city behind. The speed of the car was so fast and I felt so scared that my hands felt numb upon holding tightly.
It's been a long since he parked the car by the side of the road, and he has been silent since we stopped. Suddenly, he went out of the car and went to my side to pull me out.
"Jordan, why did you bring me here?" I asked as I was dragged by him. He is walking so fast that I almost stumble and fell several times.
The roads that were taking are unfamiliar to me, and I'm a little upset.
Fortunately, we found a rest area by the side of the road which was a river, and he took me there to sit and rest after a long walk. While we're walking to the river, he suddenly pressed me on the railing and his black eyes were dark and clear, "I want to hear an explanation, every single detail."
I froze as I looked at him and saw the anger and scared look on his face. I was motionless and stunned.
He seemed to realize that all this time what he has done is to be angry. He closed his eyes and tried his best to suppress his anger. He then opened his dark eyes and stares at me and asked in a low, worried voice. "When did you go to Venezuela? Why did you go there? What happened back there? I want to know how you went back."
He is standing in front of me. His tall and slender body is almost blocking the light coming from the sun.
I was stupefied and said, "Jordan it's all in the past. There's nothing more to talk about."
"What do you mean there's nothing more to talk about? Ivelle, are you going to play me for a fool? Even if you don't like me anymore, I am still your husband, right? Doesn't a husband even have the right to know where his wife is going?"
I have never seen him like this before. Anger and worry and terrified, it is all visible in his expressions. He almost appears helpless to me. "Yes," I said as I turned my eyes at the sparkling river. "After leaving the capital, I went to Hempstead to see Blossom, and then I decided to come to A City. Later on, I met Mr. Norris and he still remembered what happened five years ago. He did not let me go since then, and he found someone to frame up against me.
He listened quietly as I told him what happened to me, including the incident of bumping into him in Venezuela, and even the fact that Rafaela Shannon was hurt because of me, word by word.
After a moment of silence, he looked at me and said, "I won't object to whatever you want to do or go to wherever you like to go, but Ivelle, you are still a married woman and you should not love with William Preston. If someone noticed, this will be the kind of storm that we can no longer control." I don't know, but I just got back, and I can't think of a better choice for a while.
But this is not what we are going to talk about now. I looked at him seriously and said, "Jordan, I originally wanted to leave quietly, but now, I don't think if it is still possible. I shouldn't have told you what Rafaela Shannon said. But like what I said, since everything is like this, then let's talk about us, Jordan."
Four eyes opposite each other, the man's eyes are deep and bright, with a bit of warmth and firmness, "OK!"
I sat in the lounge chair and watched the ripples of the breeze across the river and the wobbly willows.
I said with a slight sigh, "Jordan, I have never thought of staying with you since I left the capital. In my point of view, we divorced five years ago even if we did not talk about it. We left the company and we are being separated for a full three years. These are all legally efficient. So our marriage is purely in papers only." His face darkened and his dark eyes looked at me motionless. "How can you say these words so easily? Ivelle, can you tell me, have you ever considered my feelings or my situation even once? Or is it because you never loved me in the first place?" I pursed my lips, and I still couldn't breathe. I took a faint breath and said, "Then, just pretend I've never been in love."
He strained my wrist so much but I didn't respond. I just let him hold me that way. Jordan, everything has come to an end. Feelings and emotions are not an exemption. I may be sometimes felt cheap. And when I can't get what I want, I am desperately chasing it. But once I put my hands on it, I don't think I still need or want it. And I still cannot forget how you crashed me for the past three years. It seems like you designed the pattern of my life. You had my mother kill my own child, our very own child. I still cannot let it go, Jordan. And I don't have plenty of time to hate you, but it is also impossible to continue living with you, let alone loving you."
