###Chapter 518 Everything You Gain, You Lose More – Part 6
"Give it back to your family, Mr. Astley!"
The woman was deliberate.
It was too late for Ivelle to stop her because she already called them out, and she could not pretend not to hear it and raised her hand to say 'Hello,' which was regarded as a greeting. She thought that Grace was just going out to show her face, but she brought both of them directly into the restaurant and enthusiastically said to the waiter, "Hello, add two bowls and utensils for me. Thank you!"
Then, she warmly beckoned Jordan and Miss Kent ran to sit down.
Stone pot fish stool was grass squat, which was short and was a very inconvenient thing to sit down for girls wearing a skirt.
Grace saw this and said enthusiastically, "I'm really sorry I didn't consider Miss Kent wearing a skirt. I asked the landlady to bring a chair, anyway."
With that, the person had already gone to find the boss's wife, and when he came back, he was already carrying a highchair in his hand. The height of the table of the stone pot fish was not very high. Linda Kent, a beautiful woman who was sitting in a highchair, seemed a little out of place. In addition, she dressed in some fashion today which showed her fragrant shoulders and flawless back. Her attractive appearance seemed to become scenery in that small restaurant. And such a place was not like the other western restaurants or high-end restaurants, where most of the people are high-minded, and most of them who used to eat there were millions of middle-class people at home. Most of them were just ordinary people and there was nothing particular about it.
Looking at Linda, with the kind of natural beauty she had, Ivelle could not help but look at her with curiosity and envy in her eyes. Of course, it was not creepy nor malicious at all. She was just plain curious and she just liked to see a beautiful woman like Linda.
For a while, embarrassment was inevitable.
Grace, as if nothing at all, looked at Jordan and said, "Mr. Astley, by any chance, is Miss Kent your secretary? How temperamental! Apart from Ivelle, this is the first time I have seen such a beautiful woman who is with you!"
Ivelle was speechless. Was this woman praising her or digging a hole for her? Who knows?
Jordan looked up at Ivelle and said faintly, "She is the person in charge of Astley's AI." It was a simple introduction and there was hardly anything to say.
Grace gave a long, loud voice, "Miss Kent is really amazing. She is beautiful and capable. She is stunning wherever she goes in the world. You must have a boyfriend, right?"
Linda was a little uncomfortable. She laughed and said, "No!"
"No way! You don't have a boyfriend even if you are so beautiful. Do you have anyone you like? No, I should ask you what kind of people you like!" Grace was definitely talkative.
With that question, let Linda subconsciously carefully took a look at Jordan, and then slightly bowed her head before she said, "I really don't know. I'm not sure." With that, she blushed.
Grace deliberately made an exaggerated expression and said, "My mother said that girls must have a certain goal in finding a boyfriend. I think a beautiful and talented beautiful woman like you should find one like Mr. Astley so that you both look like a good match. If you don't believe me, look at them instead, Ivelle and Mr. Astley. When they are together, they are really a pretty match!"
Ivelle felt like there was something with this girl's words! She was unstoppable! Was she provoking the situation or what? She did not know either!
Linda nodded slightly and she moved a little awkwardly.
It seemed that Grace began to chat with Jordan and said, "Mr. Astley, I have to introduce myself to you. My name is Grace Cross. I am a good friend of Ivelle. We met last time, but I was in such a hurry that I didn't introduce you, I'm sorry about that."
She reached out and shook hands with Jordan, but fortunately, Ivelle could even talk about it.
Grace was the only one who talked a lot at that table. Even when they finished the meal, she was still talking and she did not seem to finish talking nor out of words and topic.
"Mr. Astley, Ivelle works here while you are working in the capital. Are you going to be apart, then?" Somehow, Grace suddenly got to this point.
Jordan's dark eyes fell on Ivelle and looked at her intensely. He said, "No, I am where she is!"
"Wow! Is this how you show your love, Mr. Astley? This is so sweet!" There was a cute expression evident on Grace's face.
Linda, who looked a little pale, said, "Miss Kent, you and Mr. Astley are colleagues?"
Linda showed a smile across her face shallowly and said, "I usually work in the capital, and I seldom see Miss Weld, so I don't know."
Grace frowned slightly and said, "Ah, isn't the name of the person in your company Mrs. Weld? Why do you call her Miss Weld? She looks so rusty."
"Miss Weld and I seldom see each other, so we won't be able to change the honorifics for a while." Linda had always been an innocuous mouth.
Grace twitched her mouth, glanced sideways at Ivelle, and gave her a wink. Ivelle was a little unresponsive and looked at her in a daze and could not understand what she meant. Seeing this, Grace simply faced toward Linda when the water cup on the table was suddenly knocked over and put on her skirt. It was not much but it was so hard to avoid the shock because the skirt was surely pretty expensive. While wiping her, Grace apologized, "Miss Kent, I'm really sorry. Why don't you go to the bathroom first and deal with it there."
Linda frowned and was a little unhappy, but her emotions were well controlled, and she was not angry. She was still composed.
Seeing her gone to the bathroom, Grace, regardless of whether Jordan was still there or not, looked at Ivelle and said, "I said, Miss Weld, can't you see that that beautiful creature in the world has taken a fancy to your man?"
Ivelle did not dare to compliment when she said 'Your man' in her mouth. Subconsciously, she looked at Jordan and saw that he looked pale and could not see any emotion on his face.
She pursed her lips and said faintly, "Stop talking nonsense, Grace. Miss Kent is excellent."
"Just what the hell!" She could not help swearing. "Ivelle, are you out of your mind? What do you mean she's excellent? You mean you're going to push your man to her?"
Jordan was still there. Ivelle always thought Grace did it on purpose. She did not know what to say for a moment, so she just pretended not to hear it.
Seeing that she was silent, Grace slurped and said, "You didn't have a fight, did you?"
After a pause, she looked at Jordan and asked him, "Mr. Astley, you aren't having an affair, are you?"
Jordan's eyes sank and his eyes fell on Ivelle. She thought he would be angry, but unexpectedly, he calmed down and looked at Grace and answered her, "I have a penchant for cleanliness!"
He implied that he didn't like other women.
Grace smiled knowingly, motioned her arm and turned to her, and said, "Make good use of it. There are not many good men like Mr. Astley these days."
Ivelle was a little embarrassed. The waiter trotted over and said, "Is that your friend in the bathroom? She seems to have fallen and it's pretty serious. Go and have a look!"
"She fell?" Grace got up and went to see her condition directly.
Jordan and Ivelle were left speechless for a moment and paused. She looked at him and said, "Go and see Miss Kent!"
He frowned at her while his eyes were deep and in a low voice, he said, "Are you sure?"
Ivelle was stupefied for a couple of seconds but then she nodded and said, "Go and see her. I don't know what's going on!"
He sneered, suddenly got up, and walked toward the bathroom. Ivelle followed, and she saw that Grace helped Linda out at the bathroom door, which seemed to be a little serious looking at her condition.
