###Chapter 521 Everything You Gain, You Lose More Than You Lose – Part 9
Ariel gave her a cold glance and sneered. "I thought I have handled it five years ago? What do you really think you can do with me here?"
"Of course, I can't do anything to you, but I think I can!" The sudden emergence of Grace stunned Ivelle and Linda.
Grace leisurely leaned against the bathroom door frame with a cherry mouth slightly slave. She had that delicate soft appearance with a bit of whine in her voice, she said, "Director Lanham, what do you think will happen if I press it like this now?"
She slowly picked up the phone in her hand. Her eyes were sparkling and particularly innocent, she said, "If we tried, I wonder what will happen!"
"Grace!" Ariel had a rough voice and was obviously angry, but he still smiled and said, "How did you get in here?"
She pinched her little face and said with a sly smile, "The fake smile is really hurtful and the face is stiff."
In no hurry to answering Ariel's words, she looked around the room and found a place with a good line of sight. She then sat down while still holding her cellphone. It was only after adjusting to a comfortable position that she continually said, "Director Lanham seems really busy and forgets a lot of things. A few years ago, Don was afraid that I would make trouble outside, so he got it for me. I had nothing to drink today. I drank too much. I wanted to come in and find a room to take a bath and sleep. I didn't want to but I accidentally saw what I shouldn't have seen. Hey, it's really bad luck!"
She said casually, looking at Ariel with her hand on her chin, Grace said innocently, "You said, I've seen it, and it's no good to pretend. Don usually said, 'People, you have to act bravely for righteousness.' Director Lanham, you say, if I were idle to call the police, will it have any impact on you?"
The smile on Ariel's face could not be stopped. He looked at her and said, "Come on, what do you want?"
Grace sighed and acted as if she was really thinking about it. But she seemed to have nothing to want. "You say I don't lack anything," she said and continued, "if you really want anything, you lack a man, but you are too old and fat. You can't even bite your teeth and you smell disgusting. Naturally, I can't have it."
Regardless of Ariel's trembling face, she thought about it very seriously. "Well, I just looked at it and you seem to have hit them, or let them give it back," she said.
Ariel's face turned black and his hand clenched into a fist. Ivelle thought he was going to get mad, but she did not expect him to agree and walked up to her and personally untied the rope that tied their hands.
Linda and Ivelle were in a daze and for a moment, there was still some confusion about the situation. Grace was playing with her cellphone with her chin. Ariel glanced at her, then gritted his teeth and looked at Linda. "You call back!"
Linda has not recovered when she saw him like this, and she was still a little confused. She also subconsciously look at Grace just to see her playing with her mobile phone as if nothing had happened.
For a moment he said, "Go!"
Hearing this, Ariel was stunned for a moment and Grace also looked up but said nothing.
Seeing Ariel looking at her, she looked innocent and said, "What do you think I'm doing? It's you who beat her. She doesn't care. You should thank her, not me."
Ariel looked at Linda and said, "Thank you!"
Then he looked at Grace and said, "Please say hello to Don for me."
She just gave a hum and bowed her head down to play with her mobile phone again. Ariel went away with his men with a black face. It was a false alarm and so Ivelle calmed down. Linda and she looked at each other before they looked at Grace. When she saw that they had already left, she got up and did not say anything, so she was ready to leave.
Linda stopped her. "Thank you just now, Miss Cross."
"No, just passing by." With that, she was about to leave.
After what happened just now, the awkwardness during that noon had long gone and Ivelle said, "Don't you want Linda to have a drink with you? It's insincere to come and go, isn't it?"
She stopped and looked back at her. She raised her eyebrows and said proudly, " Who said I'm leaving? I'm just going to the bathroom."
With that, she dropped into the bathroom and closed the door.
Linda looked at Ivelle and said, "You guys know each other?"
She just shrugged but nodded afterward.
For a moment, Grace came out of the bathroom and looked at the two of them. She said, "I ordered a drink, let's have some fun later?"
"Absolutely!" Linda exclaimed and was excited by Grace's invitation. She went straight to the table and sat down. "Since we're drinking, shall we order some food and drink?"
"It's done. I'll send it to you later!" Grace sat down. She looked at her and said, "Are you the close assistant of William Preston?"
Linda coughed and said, "Well, it's either personal or work."
After a pause, she looked at Ivelle and said, "Ivelle, come and sit down."
She sat next to Linda. Grace did not look at me. She still looked a little angry. Linda could see that.
She smiled and said, "It's a good thing we had you tonight, otherwise, Ariel's son of a bitch and we wouldn't know what would happen to us."
"It's easy to raise your hand!" Grace spoke with an air of indifference.
A little curious, Linda asked, "Miss Cross, your father, is it, Mr. Cross? Are you the one I think you are?"
Grace pursed his lips and thought, "Why do you think so much? Just drink and think that our meeting is fate."
Ivelle did not know Grace's situation for a moment. They met on the road in Venezuela. Everyone probably talked about their situation, but they all passed casually. Ivelle did not say a lot and it was normal for them not to say anything. When Linda saw this, she did not ask a lot of questions, and the waiter happened to bring wine and dishes at that time.
Linda poured the wine and looked at the two of us. "There is always a thank you for what happened today. I'll drink first. I have a deal with you two."
Grace raised her glass and said, "Come on, let's drink together."
After a drink, Linda said, "But how did you get in here? We haven't seen you before. Can it be such a coincidence?"
Grace looked up at Ivelle and said, "I saw you in the hall. Then I heard that the waiter was going to open a room for the old pervert. I bribed the waiter and came in first."
Linda nodded and said, "It's a good thing I met you, otherwise we would not know what would happen to us in the hands of that old dog!"
Ivelle looked at Grace and said sincerely, "What happened today was my impulse. Thank you for reaching out to help."
She looked at her and some self-criticism. She said, "In fact, it's not your problem. You may also have your own unspeakable secrets you don't want to say. And I shouldn't force you, not to mention emotional matters. Everyone has a different way of dealing with things. I shouldn't interfere. To put it bluntly, it's still my problem. So yeah, that was already dealt."
