###Chapter 569 Sweet Start - Part 5
###Chapter 569 Sweet Start - Part 5
I was in a hurry to get out of the car without thinking carefully. I got out of the car, waved goodbye, and headed for the inpatient department.
On the way, I met a little couple. The girl held the boy and refused to let him go. She cooped up in each other's arms and said, "I'll come to you when my mother gets better. Don't be angry!"
The boy raised his lips and nodded but looked at his face with some dissatisfaction.
The girl stood on tiptoe, slapped the boy on the face, and said, "Be good, I promise I'll be with you for a long time next time, okay?"
Maybe the girl was too cute, or maybe the kiss melted the boy's heart, and the boy nodded reluctantly.
I can't help laughing, young love was so sweet.
For a moment, Jordan just flashed through his mind and said, "Just like this?"
I couldn't help being stupefied and hesitated for a moment, then I turned and trotted back.
At the gate of the hospital, Jordan was still backing up. When he saw me, he smiled.
I ran to the car and looked at him and said, "Honey, I'll see you tonight." And then I kissed him in the face.
Seeing him in a daze, I held back a smile, waved to him, and walked towards the hospital.
"See you tonight!" Behind him came his low magnetic voice.
I smiled and waved and walked briskly into the hospital.
I came in the Inpatient Ward!
Grace had been bandaged on her head and lay haggard on the hospital bed. William sat upright and peeled the fruit. Hearing the noise, he looked up and said, "Is there a traffic jam on the road?"
I shook my head awkwardly and smiled, "No, it's a little late to go out in the morning."
I couldn't help but turn the conversation to Grace and ask, "Is she feeling better?"
William nodded. "I just ate and fell asleep. You stay here with her for a while. I still have some things to deal with."
With that, he took his coat and was ready to go.
Indeed, William had so many things to do. He has been here for so long, I am afraid he has delayed a lot of things.
I didn't say much, just told him to be careful on his way, and then sat by the bedside waiting for Grace to wake up.
Half an hour later, Grace woke up, seemed a little confused, and said in a hoarse voice, "Ivelle, there you are!"
I nodded, leaned her against the bed, and asked for some information. I couldn't help saying, "Why are you running to the foundation by yourself? It's full of dirt. You usually like to be clean!"
She looked at me, raised her hand, pinched her brow, and said, "Would you believe me if I didn't pass by myself?"
I was stupefied, but nodded and wondered, "So, did you meet someone else yesterday, or an acquaintance?"
She folded her lips and said, "I'm not an acquaintance, just a little familiar, but I can't remember where I've seen that person for a while."
"What's going on?"
She said after a moment of silence, "Yesterday I was picking fruit in the yard, but then I saw someone else in the yard. At first, I thought it was someone from the base, so I talked to him for a while, and then he said that he was more familiar over there, and the fruit I picked was not sweet and took me to pick sweet fruit, so I believed it."
I helped the forehead, "So you followed him and he did this to you?"
She nodded and said like a child, "Now I don't understand why he wanted to hurt me. I didn't mess with him at all. Besides, it's my first time to go to the base, so I couldn't offend him!"
My lips can't help thinking about this time, maybe it was not a coincidence!
I couldn't help looking at her and said, "Did you talk to William about this?"
She nodded. "I did, but he said he would check it out. Maybe in the base over there, there are a lot of workers, and it's normal for girls to be missed by some bad people over there."
This was also true, but only a few days after the accident on the base, Grace has already gotten into an accident?
There was no leader in this matter for the time being, and Grace and I did not continue to discuss it.
Near the afternoon, Jacintha and the others all came to see her when they heard about what happened to Grace.
Seeing Rafaela behind her, Grace brought up the old story again, "Grace, we haven't had much contact since the last accident. I've been wanting to ask you something. It's been bothering me!"
Jacintha was stupefied for a moment and asked, "What's the matter? There is no time to make a phone call, or you can talk about it in the group. Is everyone so busy these days?"
Grace nodded, looked at her, and said, "Well, I've been really busy lately."
Seeing that her face was serious, Rafaela became serious and looked at Grace, "What's the matter?"
Grace looked at Jacintha and said, "We are good friends who have experienced life and death. Once in Myanmar and once on the grass dam in Cape Oaks, we have such a life-and-death friendship. I think if we really have to face that kind of breakup one day, that point will touch each other's lives, otherwise, no matter what, we can help each other. Isn't that right?"
The two words behind her were said by looking at Jacintha. Both Rafaela and Cassandra nodded and said, "Indeed!"
Jacintha nodded, pursed her lips, looked at her, and said, "Grace, what's your point?"
Grace nodded and said, "I'm curious. Didn't you call for help that night? Where did you ask for it in the end?"
I thought Grace had forgotten this matter. I didn't think she would still remember it, so I couldn't help but be stupefied.
For a moment, several other people were stunned and looked at each other.
Cassandra also responded, looked at Jacintha, and said, "Yes, I forgot about this. When the three of us, and Ivelle, fell into the hole, I originally said that I was going to find someone to save us. But you said you asked me to talk with Ivelle, and you went to find it, but after you left, you never came back. Where did you go at that time?"
For a moment, several people looked at Jacintha. She looked a little pale and said, "I was in such a hurry that I ran away!"
Grace said, "Jesus said that his family didn't lie, but you just opened your mouth. You said you were lost, but when we rescued Ivelle, you were clearly in the tent. You never called for help from the start, did you?"
"Jacintha, is that true?" Cassandra was a little skeptical. "Did you know how desperate Ivelle and I were at that time?"
"Didn't you come out safely?" Jacintha suddenly opened her mouth, and her voice was particularly loud. She looked at me and roared angrily. "Aren't you safe now? Why do you still cling to this matter and not let it go?"
"Is this a concept?" Rafaela was also got a little angry, "Jacintha, don't be funny, okay? We treated you as our friend, but you treated us like fools? You are full of compassion in your mouth all day long. Can you really read it? You could have called for help, but you didn't do anything!"
